"Is this really Ezra's message?"
Keysa was a little surprised to get mixed up when he read a message from an account with the name Ezra Marcellino. Keysa did not think Ezra still remembered him and was impressed like he liked him.
It was still hard to believe that the handsome man she had admired since meeting at the hotel receptionist sent a message for her. In fact, Keysa read over and over again the message that Ezra sent. He also goes back and forth to open Ezra's profile, assuring that the man is really the Ezra he knows.
"What did I reply to, huh?" Keysa pressed the keyboard on the phone, but did not know what to type. Make the girl just write the origin, then delete it again. Write, delete, write, delete, until many times that's all Keysa does.
"Do I have to accept that invitation? It's a rare opportunity, you know." Staring at the phone screen, Keysa asked herself. "But, if I accept his invitation, how do I speak? Where could it be directly to the point? Doesn't it seem too easy?" Keysa still sorted and chose.
While he was still sorting and choosing, suddenly a short message came in. Keysa goes straight out of the app and sees a short message coming to the phone number.
[Phone Grandpa. Grandpa misses you so much!]
A message from her grandfather was read by Keysa. "G ... Grandpa misses me too! I guess Grandpa forgot that he had a grandchild" Keysa muttered as he dialed the number with the name 'Solar Grandpa' written on the screen, trying to contact the grandfather, as ordered. Not yet connected, a split second later he canceled his call. "Why did I call Grandpa? Grandpa must not really miss me. The proof, he had the heart to block all credit cards and my atm. He must have just wanted to persuade me to go home, then marry me to his chosen man." Keysa throws the phone into the bed. He was still very upset considering all that the grandfather had done, to make him have to live in a city of people without all the access and luxury he should easily have.
Keysa's phone rang again, a message back in. Keysa reached the screen 50 cm from where he was sitting. The same number sent a message back. Reluctantly, Keysa grabbed the phone and read the contents of his message.
[Don't you miss your sickly grandfather, Key? To the extent that after leaving, you did not contact grandfather at all]
"Is grandpa sick?" There was a sense of worry when reading the grandfather's last message. He then called back that number.
Looks like Grandpa Surya is indeed waiting for Keysa to contact him. Evidently, just now that Keysa's call was connected, Grandpa Surya had already received his call.
"Ha—"
"Basin' bad boy! Finally, you contacted grandfather as well. Do you know your grandfather misses you so much. Who do you think this is grandpa, huh? Have you forgotten that you still have a grandfather? How dare you go quietly from home. Worse yet, you didn't contact grandfather at all."
The new call was connected, and Keysa who was about to greet the grandfather was immediately presented with a long nagging from the person across there. In fact, Keysa to keep the phone away from his ears because the voice of the grandfather so loud and make his ears itchy.
"Keysa, are you listening to grandpa?" granddad Surya shouted as Keysa did not reply.
"Yes, Cake. I-i heard. Don't shout muffled, the blood will be high." Keysa, who was worried, felt sorry to contact his grandfather if the edges were at home.
"Basin' bad boy! So you're cursing grandpa's sick?"
"Isn't that what? What do you mean just walk out of the house and leave the match? Grandpa doesn't want to know, now you're home. Or grandpa's gonna take you from there."
A small quarrel happened again between the grandfather and grandson through the media mobile phone. They are still stuck with their respective positions. Grandfather did not want to be denied and Keysa did not want to give up.
"What do you have to do so you can go home? Grandpa can't stay away from you for too long." Finally Grandpa Surya softened, however Keysa was his favorite grandson who was never far from his sight.
"Nothing" Keysa replied, briefly. Although in her deepest heart Keysa also missed her grandfather very much, but considering the matchmaking approved unilaterally by her grandfather made Keysa refrain.
"We cancel the match, as long as you go home. How's it?" proposed Grandpa again.
Keysa was silent at Grandpa Surya's words. Is it true that the grandfather will cancel the match if he is ready to go home? The contents of his head worked hard thinking about the words of the old man who had raised him. However, Keysa knows his grandfather very well. Grandfather Surya would not give up so easily in everything that became his goal. It could be, the cancellation of the match is just a trick for Keysa to come home and after the marriage will still take place.
"Even though Grandpa canceled his match, I still can't go home, Mother." Keysa decides to stay in town B instead of getting caught up in an unwanted marriage.
"You're here—" Grandpa Surya's voice began to rise again hearing the refusal of the grandson.
"Don't be angry, Mother!" Keysa cut the grandfather who seemed ready to launch a long scolding wide again. "Actually I'm not here just to run from an arranged marriage. But, I also want to realize Papa's wishes before he dies" Keysa explained. He was looking for a reason that might make his grandfather crumble.
"You mean?"
"Before Papa died, Papa once asked me to continue my studies here. According to him, the university here is the best university and he would be very proud that I could be the best graduate here." Keysa gave the school grounds there because of his father's wishes. "Maybe this is the right time Keysa realized the wishes of papa, Cake," Keysa continued in a voice that was deliberately made as slow as possible so that Grandpa Surya was touched.
Grandpa Surya was silent when he heard Keysa mention his father. Keysa's father was the only son in Grandpa Surya's family and was his most beloved and proud son, but Keysa's father died at a young age.
"Are you not lying?"
"No Cake. If you don't believe just ask the mother," Keysa replied while shaking his head, although actually Grandpa Surya will not know because he did not see it.
Finally, Grandpa Surya agreed to Keysa continue his studies there. However, on one condition, Keysa must not show his true face and identity to the public. Keysa quickly agreed to her grandfather's request. Inwardly, Keysa decided he would not accept Ezra's invitation. Let the man only know Keysa the geeky, while Faya the beautiful let remain a mysterious selebgram who became Ezra's idol without having to meet again.
"A person who loves you sincerely will not look at you from the beautiful, ugly, poor and rich you are. If someone loves you when you're poor and ugly, then he's your true love." Before ending his call, Grandpa Surya gave Keysa a little advice.
