"Go home! Let your bike be your grandfather. Kasian Dev must be he wants a quick break," said Grandpa Surya with a smile that is difficult to interpret. He told Devano and Keysa to go home with a tractor, while he would fix the bike.
With a smile too, Devano nodded in appreciation of Grandpa Surya's words even though in his heart Devano refused the orders of Grandpa Surya. From luxury cars, Devano switched to tractors that are commonly used by people plowing land. 'Big no!' devano's curse in the heart. However, in order to get Keysa's grandfather's heart, he also supported him.
Devano and Keysa get on the tractor.
Devano started the tractor engine with an iron bar and put all his energy into turning the machine on, even sweat to the point of his forehead which he rubbed with his arms.
Grandpa gave a smile as he saw Devano struggling to turn on the tractor. The situation did not escape Keysa's view. Keysa notices Devano's distress and turns to his grandfather, until the girl realizes that her grandfather is cheating on Keysa.
Keysa let out a rough breath when he knew his grandfather's true intentions, then took a handkerchief from the bag and rubbed Devano's sweaty forehead.
"Can't live yet?" ask Keysa.
Devano turned his head with a smile that he was trying to display, then shook his head slowly.
"Spirit! You can do it," muttered Keysa, cheering.
Seeing the encouraging Keysa, Devano's spirit to be able to turn on the tractor immediately stirred. Finally, with all the power he had deployed, Devano was able to power the tractor engine. The two also walked down the road to the house using a vehicle commonly used to hijack it.
However, Devano's journey is not as smooth as the toll road. Several times the engine went out and it frustrated him. He had to re-engage with an iron bar to start the engine and exert all his power again.
"I'm hot, Key! Machines like this are not worth using as a means of transportation. Still mending that the engine is good, if like this I can die in the middle of the road because it continues to fight with the iron," Devano wrote while pointing at a piece of iron nearby, when the tractor died.
"Ish that's all gone," said Keysa while descending.
"Where are you going?" circus Devano, seeing Keysa come down just like that.
"Go home! He said you're dead, "Keysa replied, stifling, as he continued to walk without looking back.
"Is he angry?" muttered Devano to himself, then hit his own mouth cursing the words that came out of his mouth. "Wine! What if I'm told to go home again" he said, then rushed down and chased Keysa.
"Key, wait! That's not what I meant. Don't be angry!" devano shouted while chasing Keysa.
But Keysa doesn't care. He continued to walk away from Devano who was still chasing him.
"Key, let's go back! I'll restart the machine." Devano grabbed the hand of the girl who kept walking in front of him.
"When did it go back to the tractor? Our people have reached home" Keysa said, with a smile that appeared, precisely a mocking smile because it had managed to make Devano panic.
"Udah sampa?" devano asked, confirmed and answered Keysa's nod. "Finally ...." Devano breathed a sigh of relief with a fluffy smile as soon as he got Keysa's nod.
However, a moment later, the smile was gone replaced with confusion. "Where's your house, Key?" devano asked, because there was no building nearby that he thought deserved to be called a house.
"You think?" Keysa asked back. Devano's question does not require an answer because the two are standing in front of a building.
"This is your house?" devano asked in disbelief.
They were standing in front of a building, but according to Devano it was not a house but a dilapidated and uninhabited old hut.
"Yes" Keysa answered, opening the door.
"Revelation!" Suddenly Devano pulls Keysa into his arms away from the door as a block of wood collapses and almost hits Keysa.
For a split second the two looked at each other without blinking, until Devano let go of his embrace. "Be careful," he murmured in a soft voice. His heart felt sliced to see Keysa's state that was far from decent, even his lover was almost hurt.
"Thank you" said Keysa, walking back into the house. 'Why did Grandpa tell me to stay in this place?' rutuk Keysa in the heart.
"I think it's an uninhabited house" Devano said, scanning every corner of the house.
Seeing Keysa who could still smile with such circumstances, made Devano even more pity and hurt at the same time. 'Yes, God. I can't imagine my boyfriend spending his day in a place like this.
Half an hour later, Grandpa Surya came home and planned to fix the roof of the house. Devano also took the initiative to help get the heart of Grandpa Surya faster.
"There's something I can help you with, Cake" said Devano, approaching Grandpa Surya.
"Are you sure you can?" Grandpa Surya who was taking out the needed tools turned his head towards Devano with narrowed eyes.
"Of course you can" Devano replied with great confidence.
"Well then you nail those wooden blocks that fell down!" Grandpa Surya gave the nail and hammer to Devano. "Grandfather takes care of the other work," said Grandpa Surya again.
"Grandfather ...." Keysa did not accept and protested with the treatment of Grandpa Surya who had since seemed to be judging Devano. However, Grandpa Surya quickly cut off Keysa's remarks and asked the granddaughter not to interfere.
"You should cook water. There was no water to drink" continued Grandpa Surya, with an indisputable gaze as he watched Keysa prepare for another protest.
Keysa would not want to follow the game played by his grandfather. He went to the kitchen to cook water in the stove. Meanwhile, Devano nailed the blocks that had fallen as well as some other beams that look unsound.
Afterwards, she went to the kitchen to reach Keysa and laughed when she saw Keysa's face black with charcoal .
"Why laugh?" keysa asked, looking at Devano who was laughing until he was spinning.
"Your face is beautiful" Devano replied, taking a picture of Keysa's face and showing it to the owner.
Keysa saw his face filled with irregular black scribbles immediately pursed his lips while pushing the phone to Devano's chest, then left Devano still burning.
"Where are you going?"
"Wash your face."
Keysa went to clean the face.
While cleaning her face, Keysa saw Devano walking closer to a well that was blocked by a room without a roof. He quickly applied his makeup again so as not to be caught by the man.
"Key, what were you doing in the bathroom for so long?" ask Devano who is getting closer.
"Wash your face and do what?" replied Keysa who had just finished justifying her makeup, then walked out of the room. Not to forget, Keysa splashed water on the face to make it look like he just finished washing his face.
Devano stared at the wet face of the girl who had just come out of the bathroom with a longing gaze. Unknowingly he approached Keysa and pinched Keysa—gemas' cheek.
And, unbeknownst to Devano and Keysa, Grandpa Surya notices both of them. He could not stand their affection, so he approached them both. "Key, pick up some vegetables in the garden for lunch!" toilet Grandpa Surya with a gaze ready to pounce, disperse the intelligence of Devano and Keysa.
"Grandfather deliberately wants to test you!" whispered Keysa with a smile before leaving.
Devano's head reacted, he remembered every incident that had been experienced and all of it was indeed difficult if said to be a coincidence. He only realized it after Keysa told him.
"And for you ... plant rice in that land!" Grandpa Surya told Devano to plant rice.
Devano looked at the rice field that was still not planted, then turned to look at Grandpa Surya with a view that was difficult to interpret.
"I will teach you," said Grandpa Surya as if he knew the meaning of Devano's view, then walked towards the rice field.
Both of them went down to the fields. Grandpa Surya gave an example to Devano, and Devano also planted rice like Grandpa Surya did.
"I want to ask you a few things" said Grandpa Surya. The old man took the opportunity to ask Devano some questions.
"Whatever happens I won't leave Keysa," Devano replied at the end of the questions Grandpa Surya asked.
