"I'm like hearing people, but there's nobody" he said with eyes still running around looking for Devano and Keysa.

"Maybe it's just your hearing. We go on, yes, soon the bonfire is over, but we haven't finished our activities."

Devano and Keysa listened to their conversation from behind a bush near the room. Both can only write their ears when the two people in the room resume their relationship there.
