Grandfather Surya watched Devano who was holding a twenty-day-old rice seedling and planting it on the muddy ground. He did not expect a man like Devano to come down to the rice fields and dirty, there was little sympathy in Grandpa Surya's heart for the man who was fighting for his grandson's love.
This opportunity, too, used Grandpa Surya to ask Devano a few things.
"You are handsome and rich. There must be a lot of women chasing you, but why did you choose Keysa instead" asked Grandpa Surya, while planting a few stalks of rice into the field.
"Because I really like and love my grandfather's granddaughter" Devano said.
"What makes you like Keysa? Isn't she not as beautiful as the girls there, instead you could say Grandpa's granddaughter is very tacky and not fashionable" continued Grandpa Surya.
Devano, who was bowing, then straightened his body while turning to Grandpa Surya with his hands outstretched to receive the rice seeds that Grandpa Surya gave to be planted by him. "For me the parachute is not number one. Maybe Keysa isn't pretty on the outside, but she's very pretty on the inside. He has always been a guardian angel to his friends. He never looked at feathers in helping others. He is also a brave and hardworking boy" said Devano. "I like everything in Keysa either less or more. So, can Grandpa bless our relationship?" devano continued, full of seriousness.
Grandpa Surya began to be touched by what Devano said. He secretly carved a smile on his face that still looked fresh despite being old.
"Alright, I will bless your relationship" said Grandpa Surya, who made Devano turn away from shock and happiness.
"Grandfather really blesses our relationship? devano asked, trying to make sure.
Grandfather nodded for sure.
Receiving a nod from Grandpa Surya, Devano spontaneously embraced Grandpa Surya with his hands already filled with mud. The man was very, very happy.
"Heh, what are you doing?" Grandpa Surya pushed the body that was hugging him.
"Sorry, too excited," muttered Devano, smiling in embarrassment at his absurdity. "Thank you, Mother" he continued, from the deepest of hearts.
"Don't be happy! I approve of your relationship, but on one condition, you can't touch Keysa" said Grandpa Surya.
Requirements are quite heavy for Devano, but for the sake of a blessing he also supports it.
And, unbeknownst to them, Keysa also listened to the two men talk. Keysa eavesdropped behind a big tree ever since they came down to the paddy field. After hearing the blessing of her grandfather and Devano to comply with the requirements given by her grandfather, Keysa returned to the kitchen to cook.

Devano and Grandpa Surya returned from the paddy fields with bodies already filled with mud.
"Can I help you?" devano said with a smile as he approached Keysa.
Keysa, who was putting firewood into the furnace, looked up at the sound. "Have you not taken a shower?" keysa asked, as soon as he saw Devano still wearing dirty clothes.
"Later after helping you cook," muttered Devano, lightly. "What do you want to cook?" devano asked again, when looking at the various types of vegetables that Keysa had just picked in the container.
Keysa told them about their meal, which Devano answered with a nod, and then they executed it together, although Devano did not help much.
Keysa looked at the man who was guarding the furnace and put firewood into it. Keysa is very afraid that Devano will know the true events, especially if he knows from others.
"Maybe I'm being honest? Kasian he has to be hard like this" Keysa murmured inwardly. He wants to be afraid to reveal the truth that this is not Keysa's house, but he is also afraid that he will not be able to disguise himself anymore.

The day began to darken. The food is finished cooking. Keysa and Devano also looked fresh with clean clothes that had been attached to the body.
The three began to eat together, which ended with drinks. In fact, Grandpa Surya and Devano got drunk.
"Keysa is my only granddaughter. Will you take care of it for me!" said Grandpa Surya in the middle of those who are spending drinks containing alcohol.
"I'll definitely take care of Keysa, Cake. Not just Keysa, I promise to take good care of you" Devano said, with confidence. "I love Keysa so much. I love him, really" he continued.
"I will definitely guarantee Keysa and Grandpa's life, so Grandpa doesn't have to worry" Devano said, after hearing Keysa's concerns. While spending the rest of the drink in the glass, Devano also accidentally leaked the company he was holding.
Grandfather took a quick look towards Devano. He did not expect that Devano could be that great, holding a company at his young age. "Looks like he deserved Keysa. He's a hard worker and doesn't look at things by material and appearance." Grandpa muttered in his heart. "I'm sure his future will be bright. Likewise with Keysa," he continued, still in the heart while the mangosteen, then take a drink directly from the bottle.
Keysa who saw Grandpa had been drinking a lot, started to worry. He was afraid that the old man had unknowingly leaked it all. "Here you are, don't drink!" Keysa snatched the bottle that still contained a quarter, forbidding Grandpa Surya to drink again. "Later can-can keceplosan," muttered Keysa very slowly and without opening the mouth.
"But, he still needs to be tested," murmured Grandpa Surya.
The man snatched another bottle from Keysa's hand, while drinking and enjoying the night from the front of Grandpa Surya's house continued to ask many questions.
"Key, take Grandpa to the room." Once satisfied and feel no longer strong to drink. Grandpa Surya asked Keysa to break him into the room.
