MILLION LOVE

MILLION LOVE
SUDDEN AMNESIA (3)

The next morning, Lyra is shocked to death when Max suddenly stands behind the door of her apartment when Lyra just opened the door.

"For God's sake, Max. It's very much your intention to make me hang this early" Lyra exclaimed.

"I'm sorry, Ly. I didn't mean to fuck you up. Really," Max replied regretfully while rubbing his palms together.

"Then what do you mean?" lyra was still upset.

"I meant to take you to your mother's place" Max replied slowly.

Lyra frowned, "Why?"

"Because I'm on holiday just like you— and I don't know what to do and I remember you're going to go— so I decided to drop you off." Max's dragging sentences sounded very suspicious in Lyra's ears.

"Why did you sacrifice your precious time off just to take me to see my mom?" Lyra tilted her head with both hands folded in front of her chest.

"What valuable time? It's bullshit! My time off is mediocre." Max tried to quibble.

"What about your new recipe?" argue Lyra.

"It's perfect, just put it in the latest menu book next month," replied Max quickly.

"What about Miss Model Go International?" Lyra again tried to give Max a reason not to come along.

"Melody? I don't know, I don't know. He hasn't called me since last night." Max raised his eyebrows while smiling strangely.

Lyra narrowed her eyes that seemed to be scanning for something from her best friend. Make Max rewind his upper body a little backwards.

Shit man!!! think Max. Why at a time like this Lyra's sensitivity becomes very sensitive, he wrote in his heart.

"Oh, come on, Ly. Please let me drive you! I'm really bored and don't know what to do" Max insisted. "I promise I won't make it difficult for you. I promise to be a good boy" whined the man again, raising one hand as a sign of his vow.

Eventually Lyra raised both her hands in surrender, "Alright, alright, you can take me to my mother's place."

And Max grinned as he accepted Lyra's submission.

But in the end, Lyra deeply regretted her decision at that time. Because a few hours later, they both did not arrive at Lyra's mother's house which was the initial purpose of their trip, but instead ended up in the Emergency Unit of a General Hospital.

The General Hospital is nearby from the scene of the accident which they both experienced on the way to Lyra's mother's house.

Whether on the kilometer toll road, Lyra did not remember it much, when a truck suddenly appeared from the front, taking the wrong path from what the truck was supposed to go through, to the surprise of Max who was looking to drive but his mind seemed to be out of nowhere.

Max gasps at the truck's sudden arrival, and reflexively tries to avoid the truck by slamming the steering wheel to the left, until finally making Max's car hit one of the trees on the side of the road.

Luckily Lyra only hit the dashboard in front of her, although hard but no open wound on her head. Only bruises that instantly look bluish and prominent. Not so with Max.

The windshield of the car in front of the driver's seat where Max was sitting broke due to a hard impact on the tree trunk. And most of the glass shards got into the car and hit Max in the steering wheel.

Lyra remembered the moment she tried to regain her consciousness after that violent clash. The first thing he saw was the position of Max's head leaning against the steering wheel, with blood seeping from the front of his head, and his eyes tightly closed.

"No, no, no— MAX!!! Please, awake! MAX!!! call Lyra to the unconscious man.

And everything happened so fast. I don't know who called the Ambulance until the car came shortly after people helped get Max out of his wrecked car.

With tears in her eyes, Lyra climbs into the Ambulance, which takes them to the nearest Hospital.

While continuing to regret her decision that had allowed Max to drive her today, Lyra continued to try to talk to Max in the man's unconsciousness.

"Please, Max! Wake up! I don't want to lose you! Awake, Max! Don't leave me like this, it's not fair to me." Lyra pleaded beside Max's body lying inside the Ambulance.

And now, after they put Max into the Emergency Unit room, Lyra was only allowed to wait in front of the ER room after she got treatment for a bruise on her forehead.

Seconds of running, minutes passed, and the clock began to change. But Lyra still hasn't got the latest news about Max's condition. Not even the doctors and nurses who handled Max had a single one come out of the ER door.

"What really happened to Max?" Lyra wondered in the worry that pierced the recesses of her heart.

When Lyra was almost desperately waiting, a nun suddenly walked out the door that Lyra had been wanting to break down since.

"Excuse me, are you a patient's lover?" ask the sister to Lyra who even gawked at hearing it. "He asked his girlfriend as the one who will take care of all his administration in this Hospital."

What the...???? After he who had been holding the pain in the chest for a long time because of excessive worry, it turns out that Max Fuckers even asked the Fox Pelakor—lover, than his best friend, this, who had an accident with that man? What the fuck? thought Lyra didn't take it.

"Surely the Lord of the Victims could not name his own lover until the nurse had to ask me?" Lyra even asked back loudly, making the sister so unwell.

"Yes, Miss. The victim could not name her lover because she was experiencing symptoms of amnesia" the nurse replied timidly.

And at once Lyra's mouth gaped with eyes that bulged as if her eyeballs were almost out of her petals.

"What's? Really true?" Lyra was so shocked that her body fell sitting on the chair that had been in her place while waiting at the door of the ER.

"If you are not sure, you can confirm it directly with the doctor inside. You can also go inside to see the patient's situation firsthand, miss," bargained the nurse.

Hearing the offer, Lyra immediately stood up again, and stepped up to enter the ER room whose door had been opened by the sister.

In there Lyra saw Max with his head wrapped in white bandages sitting on the patient's bed with his legs crossed.

"Max," call Lyra down.

Max, who had initially slightly lowered his head, was somehow thinking about what, so looked up at Lyra who had just appeared in the room.

Lyra did not immediately answer Max's absurd question, but instead Lyra asked the doctor who handled Max. "He's why, Doc?" lyra asked the doctor who was standing not far from Max's bed.

"It looks like the victim has Dissociative Amnesia. This amnesia only removes some of the memory of the victim, not all, and this type of amnesia usually arises from the victims of accidents with head injuries that result in trauma," explained the Doctor.

"Did Max just forget his girlfriend?" ask Lyra further.

"In this case it seems so. We are trying to confirm the victim's personal information in detail. And almost everything was answered correctly. But only the name and information about his lover that the victim does not remember." said Doctor.

"You really don't remember who your boyfriend Max is?" lyra asked with a straight look at the injured handsome man.

"Do you know, Ly?" Max asked back.

"You said you'd marry that woman even if you hadn't proposed to her. Do you really not remember?" Lyra asked once more.

"No. Who's that woman, Ly? Say it!" ask Max in frustration.

Lyra was silent for a moment. Seemed to be thinking of something very serious. Something that might change everything. Including something that could save Max from the Prodigal Fox.

"Me" Lyra answered later.

"Huh? What's?" Max doesn't seem to hear.

"Say I'm your girlfriend, Max. Didn't you hear?" Lyra said louder.

"You? my lover?" ask Max.

Lyra nodded slowly but with confidence.

"You? Is that the woman I'm gonna marry?" Max asked again still with an expression full of doubt.

"Yes, Max. I'm. Lyra Rampal's. Do you remember?" ask Lyra firmly.

"I remember who you are, Ly. But I don't remember at all that we're dating." Max said slowly.

"It's okay. We can create a new memory for you" Lyra replied lightly with a smile.

Max just gawked at Lyra's confession that seemed so convincing. But was he not dreaming, Max asked in his heart.

Just woke up from a fainting spell with an unusually sick head and learned that the woman he had always loved had suddenly become his lover.

Max smiled to himself while imagining his future that seemed to be interesting.

The next day.....

After being required to stay overnight at the Hospital, Max was allowed to go home the next day.

Doctors told Max to take a complete break and to restore his memory quickly, Max had to be in a very calm and comfortable environment.

Upon returning from the Hospital, Lyra hastily escorted Max to her home, packed some of her clothes and took care of the other needs of the man like a real lover.

"Your phone went missing somewhere in the accident, probably falling in your heavily damaged car. I don't know," Lyra told Max.

In this case Lyra is grateful for the loss of Max's phone, because that way Melody will not be able to reach Max for several days.

"If you need to call someone, you can use my phone" Lyra said.

"No. Not necessary. Someone who needs me can still leave a message on the phone of this apartment. I'll check it out after we get home from my bedrest vacation" Max replied casually.

"Well, I've called all your bistros and said that you're going to be on vacation for a few days, so take it easy. I've done it all" said Lyra.

"You're really doing all the work of a lover right, Ly," praised Max for making Lyra's heart beat because of her guilt for lying to her best friend.

But what Lyra showed in front of Max was a soothing smile for a Max Sherem.

"You okay on vacation with me, Ly? How's work?" ask Max.

"Just calm down, Max. Last night when we had to stay at the Hospital, I called HRD to take my three-day annual leave. So everything is in order." Lyra replied casually.

"Then where are you taking me?" max asked as he walked into an online taxi parked in front of his apartment lobby.

"You'll know for yourself later," Lyra replied in secret as she blinked one eye.

And here they are both now. In a private villa owned by Lyra who was inherited by her late father who was a famous actor and model in the eighties.

The villa is located at the foot and slope of the mountains and is at an average height of seven hundred to two thousand meters above sea level, make the air temperature in the environment around the villa reach eleven to nineteen degrees Celsius.

Lyra still remembers vividly when doctors say that Max's memory of her now lost lover could have come back all of a sudden.

So Lyra thought about hiding Max temporarily from the Perakor— Fox's distractionMelody Lynn, until she had a chance to reveal evidence of Melody's affair with Dylan.

"Where is this, Ly?" Max turned his bandaged head around to scan the entire area that was unfamiliar to him.

Lyra seemed to be putting the door lock into the hole, then cheerfully welcomed Max who had just visited the first Villanya.

"Welcome to my private villa" greeted Lyra as she opened the door and spread her arms wide.
