Lyra accidentally caught the affair Melody—a beautiful model who will marry her best friend—Max, with Dylan who incidentally is Max's business partner.

Amidst the excitement to complain about Melody's affair to Max. The accident happened first. The accident that erases Max's memory of his girlfriend—Melody, without losing Max's memory that he has a lover.

I don't know what possessed Lyra to recklessly confess me as a lover that Max had forgotten.

Will Lyra be able to replace Melody as Max's real lover?

Will Max's memory of Melody return? Or is it lost forever?

Lyra's premonition is proven to have been when she accidentally faced Melody Lynn, a twenty-seven-year-old domestic model who has ambitions to go international, who is in a serious romance with his best friend since college days—Max Fherem.

"Oh, Hello Miss Lyra Rampal. Have we not met for a long time?" Melody is stale with as much intonation as possible. But Lyra is convinced that the girl doesn't care if Lyra realizes her sincerity.

Aahh, he should have remembered that Max had definitely been invited by the hotel owner who was having this wedding anniversary party because they were both friends.

Max has a friendship with hotel owner Dylan Lennox—si, since several times they collaborated to open a business together in the field of accommodation. And Lyra should know that Max is definitely coming with his three-month-old girlfriend—Melody Lynn.

Yeah, Max just met Melody three months ago. Dylan introduced the two of them because Melody was the Brand Ambassador of his hotel. But suddenly Max tells Lyra that Max plans to marry Melody later this year.

Lyra still remembers, moments ago when Max sent her a dinner of the results of his latest experiment. Inside Lyra's apartment, the man casually informs her of his intention to marry the model.

"You know what, Ly? Looks like Melody is a woman who is fit to be my life partner. So I'm thinking of marrying her soon." Max sips Lyra's freshly brewed coffee while revealing his intentions to the girl.

"Well! Are you serious?" Lyra swerving.

Lyra did not expect, Max Fherem the very talented Bachelorette Chef, to have several bistros that are all selling well, finally decided to immediately strip off his bachelor status in a few months. What does the world say?

"Probably," Max answered briefly with a shoulder. "My age is thirty at the beginning of next year, and my parents are warning me to get married before then, so, yahh— you know, maybe it's time for me."

Max talks as if he's just making a year-end vacation plan instead of a sacred wedding plan that should last a lifetime.

"Have you proposed to her?" tanya Lyra looked straight at Max who was sitting in his kitchen chair.

"Yet. I'm still looking for the right way to propose to her as romantically as possible so she has no reason to reject me" Max explained.

Lyra's heart was torn to the sound of the words 'seromantic may' spewing from Max's lips aimed at another girl. Had the man's words and romantic plans been for him, for a Lyra Rampal who secretly—no since when did— begin to put deep feelings on his own best friend.

"Do you love Melody?" lyra asked carefully while trying to hold the pain in her heart.

"I like it" replied Max flatly. "She's the most decent woman I've ever been close to," Max raised both of his eyebrows high.

"Why did you stop at a woman you thought was 'just' good enough?" lyra asked as she raised both her hands with two fingers forming quotation marks. "Why don't you marry the woman you think is perfect?" added Lyra leaned her back on the kitchen set in her small kitchen.

"Because I don't dare," Max murmured softly as he looked down at the coffee cup he was holding.

"What did you say?" Lyra felt like she heard Max muttering something but wasn't too sure.

"Because I don't have time." Max answered that.

"What do you mean you don't have time?" Lyra wonder.

"I told you, my parents wanted me to get married before I was thirty, and that's less than six months away, so why don't I pick the Melody that I think is the best," obviously Max while putting down his empty coffee cup then stood up and rubbed Lyra's head to say goodbye before the man disappeared from behind the door.

"But Melody doesn't like me and I'm not sure if our relationship will stay the same after you marry her later." Lyra whispers to herself after Max leaves from before her.

***

And now, Lyra has to accept the fact that she is dealing with a beautiful girl who from the beginning had considered Lyra as a barrier between her relationship with Max.

"Who did you come with, Miss Friend?" Melody was clearly insinuating him this time. "Did Max invite you to this party? Or are you following him on purpose?" melody's question was poking Lyra's ear.

Lyra was sorry, truly sorry to have ignored the unpleasant feeling that had been ambushing her since noon.

When Big Boss at his company asked him to come to Dylan Lennox's wedding anniversary party at his hotel as a representative of the Travel Agent where he worked. Just then suddenly an uneasy feeling crept on his stomach. But Lyra tried to ignore it.

When he heard Dylan Lennox's name, he remembered Max and Melody. It should have been the afternoon he immediately refused the orders of his Big Boss.

Lyra took a deep breath before answering Miss Model's spicy-mouthed question.

"Don't you dare!" melody's eyes stared intently at Lyra. But Lyra was not afraid at all.

I don't know what makes Lyra have a feeling that this beautiful girl in front of her is very inappropriate for Max. Lyra feels Melody will only make Max hurt.

But Lyra did not dare to find out the reason for her premonition. He was afraid that the premonition only appeared driven by his jealousy alone.

"Liara! You coming?" max excites when he sees Lyra with Melody.

Lyra and Melody compactly turned their heads towards Max who was walking over with Dylan Lennox beside him. Melody quickly pulls her hand that grips Lyra's arm before Max realizes what she is doing to her best friend.

Before greeting Max, Lyra decides to greet Dylan first considering that the man is the host of the party tonight.

"Congratulations on your wedding anniversary, Mr. Lennox" said Lyra politely, shaking Dylan's hand.

"Thank you for coming, Miss Lyra. Can I call you that instead of calling you formally? Considering you're friends with Max, doesn't that mean you and I can be friends, too?" Dylan smiled kindly.

"It's an honor for me to be friends with you, Mr. Lennox." Lyra nodded briefly.

"Dylan, then. I didn't expect you to come in for your boss." Dylan looked at Lyra with an intense gaze while grinning.

"My boss leaves greetings for you and your wife, Mr. Dylan. Too bad he was unable to attend because he was traveling with his wife to Bali," explained Lyra was uncomfortable with Dylan's gaze to him.

"It's okay, Miss Lyra. I'm even happy because your presence increases the number of beautiful women at this party. Oh, are you single? I can introduce you to some quality singles of my acquaintances." Dylan started acting like a Mak Comblang.

"Stop that bad habit of yours!" Max elbowed Dylan's ribs. "Lyra doesn't need to be combated, let her find her soul mate naturally" Max says, upset by Dylan's behavior.

Seeing Max's seemingly protective attitude towards Lyra made Melody coo herself. While Lyra thought that Max felt that he did not need help in finding a mate, but somehow it offended Lyra.

"Alright, alright— forgive my sassness, Miss Lyra. I hope my words didn't make you want to run away from this party right away" Dylan said apologetically.

"Oh, no, of course not, Mr. Dylan. I was hoping to find my soul mate naturally at this party just like Mr. Max said before" Lyra replied with a confident smile.

Dylan laughed, "I love your character, Miss Lyra. I hope you find your soul mate tonight, please enjoy the party" Dylan said before pleading to greet the other guests, leaving Lyra in the midst of Max and Melody.

As if not wanting to lose his chance, Melody immediately shifted her slender body to the side of Max and then wrestled spoiled on the arms of the man of Arab-French descent to deliberately show off their affection in front of Lyra.

"Max baby, how about we go to the balcony?" take Melody to Max. "We better leave Miss Lyra so that she can be approached by someone here who might be a mate," he added, which instead made Max's facial water harden.

"Melody, can you please get me a drink! It seems like I'm starting to get thirsty" Max asked Melody but stared intently at Lyra.

"Mmm, well," replied Melody who was initially hesitant but was finally forced to obey for the sake of the man who became her lover.

After Melody left, Lyra also tried to pull away from the face of the tall and handsome man who had been holding back his anger ever since.

"Good night, Mr. Max. Sorry if I just greeted you. But I better get going, I need a drink too, maybe champagne suits me tonight" Lyra said.

"Not so fast!" now it was Max's turn to grip his arm.

"What the hell are you guys doing?" Lyra immediately flicked her arm to escape Max's cling. "So Melody, now you're holding my arm. It seems like you guys are indeed a match because the attitude of the two of you is the same. Equally annoying." I don't know why Lyra's so frenzied.

Max who heard Lyra's words about Melody clutching Lyra's hand became curious, "Why is Melody holding your hand?" ask Max.

"Do not know! Ask him yourself!" answer Lyra ketus.

"Alright, whatever! But don't drink alcohol! You know that your alcohol tolerance is so low, how do you go home later if you're drunk?" max asked, this time his tone changed to worry.

"It's none of your business! I can go home with anyone who's my soul mate at this party!" answer Lyra the fool while passing away. Max groans with annoyance alone.

"Dylan, Goddamn!" max is upset.

If Dylan hadn't been provocative by trying to match Lyra up to whoever the guy at the party was, it would have been a situation between him and the girl wouldn't have been this bad. Max grunting.

Max sees Lyra from a distance. Lyra who tonight looks stunning with an elegant black velvet dress that wraps her body until she reaches the ankles. With a cut neck model sabrina with gold thread.

Her hair that was curled up increasingly revealed the neck of Lyra that fits the size of her shoulders. Makes any man want to leave a sign of love there. Max enjoys the figure of the woman he secretly loves after a long time.

After picking up a glass of champagne, Lyra appears to be picking out some snacks as a man approaches her to get acquainted.

Before long appeared another man and another man until some foreign men appear to swarm the woman like a collection of bees that are swarming a flower.

Seeing Lyra who looks beautiful in the crowd of handsome men who are classy, Max's heart was heated.

Fearing that Lyra would be even more upset with him if he was reckless to interrupt her with his new male friends, Max finally chose to look for Melody who never returned to bring the drink he asked for.
