The Return of the Crown Prince

After hanging up the phone from his mother, Alex suddenly felt so sleepy. What the hell's going on? thought confused.
Last night not even a speck of drowsiness perched in his eyes, and now, after giving the quick and also short decision that He promised the Mother, he said, suddenly his eyelids were like they were clad in ten tons of ballast each which made it difficult to stare at the screen of his phone clearly.
Whether talking to her mother and giving her perfunctory suggestions to herself to immediately move on from her matrelialistic ex-fiance, helps ease the pain in her heart and calm her mind, so that he is so sleepy now?
I don't know... Alex himself does not really understand the science of psychology that way. But clearly, he should be able to maintain his consciousness for a while to contact his Manager.
"Hold, Lex! Hold it in a minute!" he told himself. "Hold until you're done asking permission off for today" he added.
But so powerful he glared at the row of letters qwerty on his phone screen, for the sake of typing a message to the manager of his modeling agency, for example, Alex chose to call his manager immediately and asked him to postpone the entire job today for reasons of poor health.
📱ALEX LEVINE'S
Hi, Dale.
📱DALE NEWTON'S
Alex? Are you that?
📱ALEX LEVINE'S
Jess, Dale! It's me, Alex Levine. One of your favorite models.
📱DALE NEWTON'S
Oh, Oh, God, Lex! What happened to your voice? You sound..terrible!
📱ALEX LEVINE'S
And I'm sure my looks are even more horrible. I dare not look in the mirror today.
📱DALE NEWTON'S
God, what's wrong with you, Lex?
📱ALEX LEVINE'S
Me, I'm not feeling well, Dale. So I called to ask if you could give me a day off?
📱DALE NEWTON'S
A holiday? Today then?
📱ALEX LEVINE'S
Of course today, Man! I hurt today! What do you mean I have to keep working with my condition like this?
📱DALE NEWTON'S
Haha. Sorry, Lex! But I have to keep checking your schedule first, and if there is a schedule that can not be delayed, you have to live whatever your circumstances.
📱ALEX LEVINE'S
You psychopath, Dale!
📱DALE NEWTON'S
Yeah-yeah, whatever! But this is my job.
📱ALEX LEVINE'S
All right, check it out! I'm not strong enough to talk.
📱DALE NEWTON'S
Waita minute! Mm... Oh, thankfully there is nothing urgent from your schedule today and even until tomorrow! So I can give you two days off, Lex. Are you satisfied?
📱ALEX LEVINE'S
Very satisfied, Dale. Thank ye.
Alex smiled with satisfaction and without a second thought he immediately grabbed his roll and immediately Alex fell asleep after his last sentence.
His battery was completely drained and the man fell asleep without warning, even without saying goodbye to his Manager who was still talking from across the phone.
📱DALE NEWTON'S
All right, now I'm going to rework your two-day schedule with the sponsors. Rest as much as today and tomorrow, but the day after tomorrow I'll pick you up early, okay?!
📱ALEX LEVINE'S
................
📱DALE NEWTON'S
Hello, Lex? Are you still there?
📱ALEX LEVINE'S
.....Zzzz........
📱DALE NEWTON'S
Oh, shite! He's already asleep.

For several days Alex and his mother kept in touch by phone and exchanged messages more intensely than usual. All that they did was to determine the best time for Alex to return home to Sydney.
And after so many weeks passed, the day Alex returned to Sydney was determined that today. Of course, Roxanne asks Ann specifically to pick up her beloved son from the airport.
📩ROXANNE LEVINE
Dear Alex, I've sent my flagship secretary to pick you up. Her name is Ambrosia, but just call Ann the way I and the others call her. She is very nice and beautiful, but most importantly she is very competent in her work. Be nice to him, okay!
That was the message Roxanne sent to Alex just before her son flew to Sydney. The message was read by Alex after arriving at Sydney Kingsford Smith Airport.
Alex kept walking while dragging the suitcase he had taken from the baggage claim. His eyes were still fixed on the screen of his phone while occasionally looking towards the front to make sure he would not bump into the person walking in front of him.
However, his cool expression suddenly turned puzzled as he saw a woman standing in one of the pick-up rows carrying a large white paper that read 'MR. LEVINE'.
Alex stopped his steps and frowned while double-checking the screen of his phone that still displays a message from the mother. Obviously Alex read the word 'beautiful' written on the message, but what he saw with his own eyes was far from beautiful according to Alex.
What the??? rutuk inner Alex wondered.
To Alex, the woman who picked him up looked too old to be called a girl. With wide glasses and also looks thick, as well as an old fashioned and gray work suit. The woman obviously could not be called 'beautiful'.
How could my mom who is so fashionable call 'that' 'beautiful'? thought Alex. She was not even fashionable, regardless of the suit from the year when was she currently wearing it? alex's mistress in heart.
While Ambrosia Heart—, Roxanne Levine's flagship secretary has been putting on her jutek face since she departed from the office to pick up the crown prince using Roxanne's private car.
He tried his hardest to keep a professional appearance holding a paper bearing the name of the person he was picking up even with a heavy heart. So heavy that Ann was willing to exchange tasks with one of her assistants with the addition of a lunch treat if possible, as long as not having to face directly this man named Alex Levine.
Unfortunately, because the Great Mistress herself told him to, he had no choice but to obey. Though Ann was more than happy not to deal with this man. The man Ann says has the potential to undermine peace in the work environment she has loved so much over the past two years.
"You're called Ambrosia? My Mother's Secretary?" alex asked with a flat face and intonation, as flat as the runway of the plane he had just crossed when landing a few minutes ago.
He saw the woman turned to him and scanned her posture from head to toe while correcting the position of her glasses that slightly sagged. Alex feels ignored and offended by what the woman is doing.
"Listen.." Alex had not yet asked the woman not to waste her time, but suddenly the secretary interrupted her with a question.
"You who?" ask the secretary with an expressionless face.
JEREB!!! Alex's heart seemed to have just been pierced by a dagger. Alex almost dropped his jaw if he did not quickly control himself and diverted his surprise by thumping a few times.
"Are you waiting for a man named Alex Levine?" alex asked still with a fist attached to his lips after a thump.
"really? Are you Mr Levine?" Ann asked back with the same expression.
Alex nodded once. His outer posture still looks calm and cool even though in his heart he was so anxious with the attitude of his mother's secretary.
"Do you have any proof that you are Mr Levine?"
"What-what?" now Alex can no longer cover his shock. And that just makes him stutter. "You... ask me for proof?" tanyanya could not believe it.
"really. Can I see your passport?" ask Ann firmly.
Alex closed his eyes while gritting his teeth silently. This is totally insane! thought Alex. How could an ordinary employee like him be so disrespectful to his own superior son. Alex grumbled in his heart.
"Have you never seen my photo in Roxanne Levine's office? Or see my photos on entertainment sites on the internet?" Alex started to get emotional.
"The only photo in Roxanne Levine's room is of her husband holding their son as a baby. And why do I use office and personal internet to find your photos on entertainment sites? No, thank you!" reply Ann as is.
Enough already!!! I surrender!!! inner Alex. After a loud snort, he took out his passport lazily, and handed it over along with a cell phone that still displayed a message from the mother to the woman.
"This!!! It's proof that I'm the Alex Levine you're waiting for!" he said with annoyance.
Ann glanced at the handsome man before her with a dislike look. Tsk, why should he be upset? He's the one who's gonna get the blame if I'm wrong to pick people up. Really ridiculous! His grunt.
After checking her passport and the contents of the man's message clearly sent by Roxanne Levine, Ann decides that she has met the person she should pick up. Ann returned the two objects to the owner calmly and said, "Let's come with me!"
Whahuh? Is that just his reaction? Alex's mind is upset. It was as if she still did not accept Ann's treatment of him. What is the component? This woman is clearly ignoring my ego!
Alex, a famous model, used to being looked at with awe by women, seemed worthless in front of Ambrosia, the secretary her mother liked so much.
Alex has not finished condemning Ann's cold attitude towards her, again he was made gaping when Ann casually folded the white paper with the writing of his name into a small fold and threw it into one of the trash cans they passed.
"Hey, what did you just do?" ask Alex in anger. He cuts Ann off by walking quickly after Ann and stops right in front of her.
Ann flicked her shoulders and replied lightly, "Disposal."
"Waste you said?" Alex was half screaming.
"Yes, that's rubbish. Something that is already useless, isn't it called trash?" Ann asked back.
"But.but my name is written there!" point Alex not accept.
Ann turned her head towards the trash can as soon as she turned her head back towards Alex. "So you mean, paper that is useless is not trash if it says your name? Does that mean the stale milk box isn't trash if it says your name, does it?" Ann folded her hands in front of her chest quietly.
Alex increasingly misbehaved to see the calm attitude of Ambrosia that made him emotional soul. "Hey you! Can you be a little polite to me?" his yell.
Ann furrowed her eyebrows together, "What part of my disrespectful attitude do you think? I was ordered only to pick you up from here and take you to Levine Enterprises as soon as possible, I was not ordered to go after you to lick you or to be too over-the-top to please you. So, Comeon! We're wasting too much time here!"
Ann resumed her steps calmly after finishing her sentence and passing Alex by.
Alex was stunned for a moment, his emotions raging. But he tried to restore his sanity in order to quickly meet with his mother to protest the behavior of the mainstay secretary.
The next few minutes, the journey from the Airport to the Aurora Place Building which only takes no more than eighteen minutes, it felt like a year for Ambrosia and Alex to fill their journey with awkward silence.
