The Big Boss's request

.
"You must be kidding me!" reply Ann.
Ann sincerely hopes that the last order from her boss is a prank that Roxanne deliberately made to tease her, or an April Fools' Day surprise aimed at her a few weeks ahead of time.
But unfortunately, Ann's hope was immediately dashed when she saw Roxanne shake her head firmly. "No dear, I'm not kidding" Roxanne replied with her motherly face.
Ann hopes she misunderstands, but she's sure she didn't hear wrong. "In other words you want to separate your own son from the woman he loves? That so?" ann's voice suddenly raucous.
This time Ann clearly saw her boss nodding her head confidently. Although she was also aware of the gloomy expression clearly on Roxanne Levine's face, but the woman clearly wanted her own son to be heartbroken with confidence.
Ann's jaw hardened and she looked at Roxanne with a look of disbelief, trying to think of an answer that could indicate her objection and not get her fired of course.
"But, but why?" Ann was not willing.
Because she knows Roxanne Levine not only as a successful woman who is independent and hardworking but also as a single mother who loves her only son.
Although Ann has never met Alexander Benigno Delwyn Levine or commonly called Alex Levine since he worked for almost two years at Levine Enterprises, Ann is so sure if Mr. Alex is a great man who grew happily out of his mother's affection.
"Don't you say all this time that Mr. Alex loves his fiancee so much. And you don't care if they're both married?" Ann clutched her notepad tightly with a body that almost trembled with emotion.
Roxanne sighed softly. He chose to sit back on his big chair and take off and put his glasses on the table. Leaning back, Roxanne pinched the base of her nose with her right hand.
"That was before I met that woman!" answer's flat. "You know Ann? Oh, No...! You won't understand because you're not a mother yet. But when I met Alex's fiancee, my maternal instinct immediately warned me that she wasn't good for Alex" Roxanne said.
"Oh, Roxy..." Ann was trembling to see Roxanne as if in despair.
Nah! cry Ann in the heart. Not this woman! Not the woman he admires so much! her door. Ann really didn't want Roxanne Levine to feel the slightest pain. To him, the woman was his late mother's successor. He always wanted to take care of her and be happy. Secretly.
"Somehow my heart feels sure, Ann. That woman, she'll definitely make my Alex hurt" Roxanne added in a quivering voice.
Ann can't take it anymore. He could not hear or see the silence of Roxanne Levine. When Roxy looked down to hide her emotions, Ann took a deep breath and returned to her professional secretary mode.
"Are you sure to allow me this outsider to interfere in the personal affairs of your son, Mrs. Levine?" ask Ann firmly.
He deliberately emphasized Roxanne's official call for the formality she needed. Formality of a superior who commands his subordinates.
Roxanne looked up quickly. His old eyes immediately sparkled in amazement at Ann's posture which seemed to state 'You can count on me!' that's.
"Yes! I'm counting on you, Ambrosia Heart!" roxanne exclaimed with great decisiveness. "Thank you for accepting this task!"
Roxanne was finally unable to cover up her novelty, the old woman then lowered her face again, facing her desk, with her shoulders shaking slowly.
For the first time in the run-up to her two-year tenure at Levine Enterprises, Ann meddles in the personal affairs of Alex Levine, the only son of Roxanne Levine, a man she has never even met. And for the first time, Ann saw the number one woman at work crying.

After feeling normal enough to return to work, Ann steps confidently to her desk not far from the door of the room belonging to the woman who just told her to look for a secret weapon to destroy the engagement of the crown prince.
Belle returned from the pantry with two cups of hot coffee as Ann sat in her secretariat seat. The special secretariat desk for the President Director at Levine Enterprises is very long and curved.
The shape is almost semicircular with a bulkhead that divides into three parts. One part for Ann, and two other parts for Belle and Elsa who are junior secretaries who help ease Ann's duties as principal secretary of Roxanne Levine.
"I got a message from Elsa that she's coming around ten. He had to wait in line at the expedition company to complete a routine parcel-parcel delivery for the orphanage we sponsor" Belle told the senior.
Ann agreed with her thumbs-up as she grimaced, "Then what about your quarterly report?" ask Ann.
"I sent it to your email before I went to the pantry to make coffee" Belle replied firmly.
Ann immediately opened the email via her computer which was already lit from the background and grinned. "Good job!" fun satisfied.
"Then? Any additional tasks for me today, Ann?" belle asked as she offered one of the cups to Ann.
Ann receives the coffee from Belle's hand and then turns over the notepad to the girl who has been her assistant for almost a year.
"Choose one of those two points! Choose what you think you can do best" Ann said before taking a deep sip of her coffee.
Belle received her senior notepad after her hand removed the Ann ration coffee cup she had made earlier. Belle seemed to consider first the command written on the sophisticated gadget and ended up choosing the second point.
"I could never get our managers in New York to listen to my advice, so let me take care of that emerald necklace," Belle re-stressed Ann's notepad.
"And I guess if you go to Pawn Stone right now, you can take Handsome Luke from IT, too, because he's supposed to be going to The Logins right next to Pawn Stone to get his laptop serviced there."
Ann suggests Belle with the coffee cup still in her right hand.
Belle squinted her eyes suspiciously, "How do you know Luke Anderson's schedule the handsome IT? Don't tell me you met after work?" accuse Belle.
Ann took another sip of her coffee and shook her head, "She told me when we happened to be in the same elevator three days ago" Ann replied casually.
"Oh, Ann. If you look as amazing as you remember, you will definitely be the most charming woman in Levine Enterprises" Belle said as she looked at Ann with sparkling eyes.
The girl then put her leather-bound cell phone and notebook into her handbag and rushed to the elevator which happened to be empty.
"I take your words as a compliment so thank you, Belle! Be careful on the road!" Ann replied to Belle's words with a slight shout as she waved her hand with her mouth stuck to the lips of the cup.
Ann was still able to see Belle's hand wave before disappearing behind the closed elevator door.
He sipped his coffee a few more times, then placed the white ceramic cup on an empty table a little out of his reach. Just in case he forgets the cup and accidentally nudges it while being seriously at work.
"Okay, Ann! It's time to finish a little PR before you do the real big chores" he muttered to himself before grabbing the phone and starting calling Levine Enterprises' New York representative manager.
