"Patch number 020, please go to customer service one,"
The announcement called the paper holder who had been waiting for almost two hours. The man immediately headed to the sweet-talking customer service desk that was waiting. The smile of the customer service suddenly disappeared once he found the paper holder queue number twenty who immediately sat in front of him.
"Good day, with me Silvia, can anyone help?" customer service introduces itself to feeling tense.
"I forgot my debit card PIN" the man said.
"Okay, is the form complete?" ask Silvia.
The man handed Silvia a form sheet.
"Can you please set up the queue number, ID card, debit card, and savings book?" ask Silvia.
Silvia hesitated to reply to the gaze of the glasses guy who was currently unfailingly staring at her. The man opened his bag, took out all the documents needed by the customer service.
"Why did you get here, Vedra?" silvia.
Vedra was silent and still observing Silvia who seemed careful when examining the documents submitted by her customers. For Vedra this is the only way to meet Silvia after the woman broke contact as if to remove the trace.
Silvia works as a customer service in one of the branches of the largest government bank in the country.
"I'm meeting you now, because I think it's good to give you the space and time to think about the decisions you've made about our relationship" Vedra said.
"Silvia, I really don't want our marriage to be annulled unilaterally like this."
"Vedra, please don't discuss personal matters while I'm at work" Silvia said.
"I was forced to talk about it in your work hours because I can't call you anymore. You even blocked my phone number, making me instantly disappear from your life" Vedra said calmly.
Silvia tilted her head, observing if anyone would hear their conversation. Fortunately Silvia's colleague, the occupant of table number two was resting so the table was empty.
"Vedra, I have to avoid you" Silvia said.
"Silvia, I really don't know what's wrong with me until you end our relationship like this. Tell me, what is wrong and lack of me? I'll fix it" Vedra looked at Silvia.
The pleading and heartbreaking gaze of a man who did not want his marriage to be annulled just because of a ridiculous prophecy.
"Vedra, I can't oppose the prophecy" Silvia said.
"Silvia, do I have to prove to you that the prophecy is not true?" ask Vedra.
"Do I need to marry another woman and give you proof that the woman I married will be okay?"
Silvia did not reply, her eyes began to glaze over. It was never imagined by him that there would be another woman to take his place.
He loved Vedra very much, but the prophecies and orders of his parents were absolute and had to be obeyed as a devoted child of the parents.
"Silvia, the woman I love and want to marry is you! I want to live with you according to the plan we have put together!" said Vedra.
"Ved, enough," Silvia's under arrest.
Silvia picked up a piece of tissue that was in the corner of her desk. Wiping his spilled tears without permission while photocopying ID cards and debit cards in his printer machine.
Vedra heard Silvia's attack.
"Silvia, if I had married another woman, and that woman was fine, and all those prophecies were just a figment, would you have gone back to my side?" ask Vedra.
The woman's tone was filled with doubts that sounded very clear. Silvia's speech was clearly inversely proportional to what was in Silvia's heart.
"You can't do that Ved, it's not the right thing!" silvia.
"Well, how can I be by your side? If that's the only way I can do it, then I'll do it!" Vedra said with a firm tone.
Silvia lowered her head and shook her head slowly.
"No, Ved! We must not oppose the destiny that God has set out!" Silvia wiped her tears back.
"The "destiny outlined by God? You even believe so much in the predictions foretold by humans!" sergeant Vedra.
Silvia shook her head.
"Vedra, please go to the teller to register a new PIN," Silvia submitted the form that Silvia had registered.
Vedra was stunned to see tears coming back from Silvia's eyes. Silvia quickly wiped her tears.
Vedra heaved a heavy sigh, she took the form.
"Silvia, I never forgot my debit card PIN" Vedra said before leaving her seat.
Silvia turned her face away, Silvia even knew that Vedra used their anniversary date for all the PINs, including the man's cell phone key.
Silvia immediately put up a notice board on her desk that she was resting as soon as Vedra got out of her seat.
Silvia hurried to the toilet and came back crying. Back crying over his relationship that must be ended because pressed by the situation.
...*****...
All the prophecies are bullshit! All the prophecies are bullshit!
Vedra churns his american iced coffee with a huff. At the moment the disappointment was clearly ambushing him. Her heart was really hurt because Silvia and her family had to cancel their marriage unilaterally at the last minute.
Vedra can clearly imagine what if his extended family knew that Vedra had failed to get married again. Her mother had even prepared all the things needed for her wedding. I don't know how much shame he has to endure.
Finding a replacement bride is the only way to keep the wedding in accordance with the plan that has been prepared.
It's just that Vedra is unlikely to find a replacement bride carelessly. The woman who becomes the substitute bride for her obviously has to conform to the standards set by her.
The woman obviously had to be on par with Silvia. Beautiful face, attractive appearance, educated, and polite personality. It's just that if it does have to be replaced, it means that the woman should be more everything than Silvia. So when both parents ask why Vedra changed his future wife, Vedra can express the reason that the woman he chose to be his wife is a woman who deserves to be his wife and certainly more everything from Silvia.
Therefore, Vedra contacted the matchmaking agency to find women with the criteria and standards that he had determined.
The uglyness of a man certainly craves a wife who looks beautiful and attractive.
The matchmaking agency sent a portfolio of several women who had criteria that were in accordance with Vedra wishes.
Three women are beautiful and attractive appearance when viewed based on photos sent by a dating agency agent. It's just that at this time the technology is too sophisticated, all women clearly look beautiful and attractive when photographed and through excessive editing stages.
Vedra waited patiently until one of the three female candidates she wanted came and approached her.
