CHAPTER 15

"So before you fell, I saw you were with Dirga. Did you fall into the river because of Dirga?" devan asked but Alesha just threw away her gaze. "Lesha, be honest with me. I'm not gonna let Dirga hurt you."

Alesha just shook her head. "No, I just slipped."

Devan can't force Alesha to tell a story. He knows, this must be all because of Dirga.

Alesha was clutching herself. The coldness attacked his body. Even snapping from Alesha's teeth held back the cold until Devan could hear.

"Lesha, are you cold? It's only half the journey. Or is your body sick?" Devan stopped his car on the side of the road. Then he took wind oil and rubbed Alesha's neck to make it feel a little warm.

"I think you're going to have a fever. We'll just go to the hospital."

"Sir Devan is a doctor" said Alesha quivering. That coldness had completely seeped into his bones.

They all got on the bus. Dirga sat down and stared at the screen of his phone there was one incoming message from his sister.

"Gue wants to get Alesha again."

"Lo's obsessed with Alesha? You don't remember, you said Alesha didn't want this, didn't want that, you want me. But now you're back to chasing him. I betrayed my own best friend."

Dirga just hardened his jaw. Either way he has to get Alesha again. He is not willing if his sister has Alesha.

"Till home." Devan stopped his car in front of his house.

Alesha opened her eyes. Now his body feels pain all even difficult to move. He just mumbled.

"Sha?" Devan touched Alesha's forehead which was already hot. "You have a fever!" Devan got out of his car and opened the door next to Alesha. He immediately grabbed Alesha's body and lifted her inside the house.

"Lesha is falling. No papa Ma'am. Let me check." Devan immediately put Alesha on the bed.

Rahma's mother has stood up and will approach Alesha but Devan forbids her. "Later on, ma'am, change your clothes first." Then Devan shut the door.

Devan immediately picked up Alesha's long pajama suit. "Change clothes first."

But slowly Alesha sat up and stood up. "I'm gonna take a shower first. My body doesn't feel good about the river."

"Can?"

Alesha just stared at Devan. Then if you can't what do you want to bathe Devan? Still not possible, right? "Can."

Alesha opens the closet and takes her underwear and picks up the pajamas Devan brought. He walked slowly to the bathroom.

"Don't take a long, warm bath." Devan followed Alesha's steps to the front of the bathroom door.

"Yes," Alesha replied softly as she closed the bathroom door.

Instead of waiting, Devan also picked up a change of clothes and then immediately went out of the bathroom in the bathroom near the kitchen.

"Van, but Alesha's not a papa, is she?" ma'am Rahma asked, she was also worried about Alesha.

"Just have a fever, Mom. It's okay." that's all Devan answered. She didn't want to make her mother worry if she found out Alesha was drifting in the river because of Dirga.

Devan washes himself quickly. After changing clothes, she went back to her room but Alesha had not come out of the bathroom.

"Sha, you're not done yet?" Devan knocks on the bathroom door and is afraid that Alesha is inside.

"Yes, it's done. Aww!!" Suddenly Alesha shouted inside the bathroom complete with a falling voice.

"Lesha why?" Devan opened the bathroom door. Alesha was grimacing in pain while holding her leg. Her body was covered in a towel on the front.

"Why?" ask Devan again.

"My feet hurt moving."

Devan crouched down and looked at Alesha's feet. "Your legs are bruised. Seems sprained. Come on, I'll treat." Devan will grab Alesha's body but Alesha rewinds herself.

"I'm not wearing anything."

Although Devan's heartbeat was also pounding but he couldn't possibly let Alesha off the hook. A Doctor must indeed be a professional, should not think negatively whatever the patient's condition. Finally Alesha was just silent as Devan lifted her body and carried her on the bed. "You're so hot. You get dressed, then I check." Devan dropped Alesha on the bed but the unwrapped towel dropped.

Seeing that scene immediately Devan's face turned red. Alesha hurriedly pulled the blanket and covered her body.

Devan was confused as to what he should do.

"Sir, get me a change of clothes in the bathroom" Alesha said to make Devan turn his face away.

"Yes, yes."

Alesha just bit her lower lip. It felt as if he was ashamed to have been seen his entire body by Devan. Yes, even though his body is halal for Devan but he is not ready.
