CHAPTER 12

Devan was still staring at Alesha who was standing by the bus alone. I don't know why his feelings became so unsettled. "I had an appointment with a patient this morning. If there wasn't, I'd have come and taken care of Alesha."

Devan's not running his car. He's still thinking. "Try me to just forward the check-up schedule so that it is quickly completed and can catch up with Alesha."

Then Devan turned his car around and drove to his clinic.
