CHAPTER 14

I don't know what makes Devan feel uneasy. After he finished examining his patients, Devan immediately gasp following Alesha.

"Why do I keep thinking of Alesha? Was he bullied by Dirga?" Devan's feelings are getting more and more unsettled. He is now increasing the speed of his car to the forest outside the city.

After almost three hours, Devan finally stopped at the entrance counter. He replaced his snell with his bomber jacket so as not to look his profession. Then he paid for the entrance ticket. He now asked the position of the High School student who conducted research on officers who were in the ticket checking. The officer gave a map and indicated the location of their research.

After getting a lead, Devan walks into the forest area and parks his car in the last parking lot.

He looked at the map for a moment. "It's like passing by this river bank close to Alesha's position." Devan finally took a shortcut. He went down that pretty river. There were some people fishing by the river.

Devan had already walked quite a distance, he circulated his gaze as he had yet to find any signs of Alesha and her companions. Devan now stopped his steps when he saw the orange flag that was not far from the river. "It looks like they're there."

As Devan was about to set foot towards that location, he saw Alesha standing on a large rock right by the river.

"That's Lesha, why is she there?" He also sees Dirga who continues to intimidate Alesha. "Dirga!" Devan immediately ran over to Alesha but too late, Alesha had slipped into the river.

"Olsha!" shouts Devan. The stream of the river was extremely swift and instantly carried Alesha's body washed away. Without a second thought, Devan took off his jacket and jumped into the river. He tried to catch up with Alesha's body which now looked motionless.

"There's a drifting man!" yelled at some people fishing. Their shout made Alesha's friends and the teacher approach the river.

"Olsha!" rena shouted as she looked at Alesha's body drifting from a distance. "Why Alesha can be in the river." Rena and her friends are now staring at Dirga who is standing by the river. "Lo made Alesha fall into the river!"

"He fell by himself!" dirga replied then he left the place.

Devan tries to reach Alesha's body. "Leshim!" Finally he could grab Alesha's hand and hold her back. Devan tries to fight the current while carrying Alesha's body.

"Sir, hold this wood!" fortunately there were fathers who held Devan's body with wood.

Devan soon clung to the wood and was pulled by some fishing fathers.

Devan finally got out of the river. He immediately lifted Alesha's body and carried her to a flat place. "Lessa." Devan laid Alesha down on the flat ground and she immediately pressed Alesha's chest with both hands resting, as Alesha was breathing down.

"Alesha, let's get up." Devan stared at Alesha's nano. Even though he was a Doctor but when he saw someone he cared about in an emergency like this still he panicked. She pressed Alesha's chest three times and then gave her an artificial breath with her lips. First, it didn't work. He pressed Alesha's chest again and then gave another artificial breath.

All of Alesha's friends were simply dumbfounded at the scene. They could see the worry on Devan's face. Not even a doctor who helps his patients.

Finally Alesha coughed and let out water from her mouth. Devan immediately tilted Alesha's head and patted her on the back so that all the water that filled her respiratory tract came out.

"Alesha, thank goodness you're sober." After Alesha's breathing stabilized again, she hugged Alesha's body.

"Sir Devan." Alesha tightened her embrace. He's very scared.

"You calm down, there I am. You go home just like me."

Alesha just nodded her head. His body feels very weak. He has no energy to stand.

"Lesha, you don't papa do you? Do I need to be taken to the hospital, sir?" Miss Lilis was also very panicked. He didn't think this had happened to his protege.

"No need, let me drive Alesha home. Coincidentally I'm the Alesha family's personal doctor." Devan takes his jacket and covers Alesha's body.

"Yes ma'am, it's okay. It's an accident." Devan lifts Alesha's body and immediately takes her out of the forest.

"Reza, bring Alesha's bags and belongings," said Miss Lilis. "The others finish the report and we're out of the woods. No one leaves the group."

"Yes, Mom."

Reza carries Alesha's belongings and walks after Devan.

"Ren, I want to have a personal doctor as well as Mr. Devan, so that if someone faints there is an artificial breath."

"Njir, if we are different social status. Keep up the report, no Alesha, no one's thinking."

"Sir, don't you just use a stretcher?" said Reza.

"No need, sometimes take a stretcher first. It's close. My car's in the last parking lot." Devan has finally reached the parking lot. "Please get my keys on the jacket."

Reza took the key in Devan's jacket pocket and helped open the door.

Devan immediately sat Alesha in the front seat. "Put Alesha's bag in the back."

"Yes, sir." Then Reza put Alesha's bag in the back seat.

"Thank you, yeah."

"Yes, sir."

Devan then closed the door and the windshield. He picked up the shirt instead that he had brought in the backseat. Because after the incident with Alesha first, she always brought a change of clothes in her car "You just wear my shirt, let's not get cold."

Alesha had indeed folded both her hands and shivered in the cold. "How about, sir? Mr. Devan is all wet."

"I don't papa, let's not get cold on the way." Devan rolled his eyes looking for the toilet. "Come, I'll take you to the toilet first."

Alesha shook her head. "Sir Devan just face there. Don't look." Alesha put Devan's jacket on the side glass. Then he quickly took off his jacket then his wet clothes and he only wore a big Devan shirt on his body. Then he wrapped Devan's jacket around his waist to cover his thighs. Then he put his wet clothes in a bag of plastic and he put it in the back seat. "Udah."

Then Devan looked at Alesha. His chest thumped violently as he looked at the clearly imprinted circle behind his white shirt. "Aren't you wearing anything?" Devan grabbed his snell and immediately covered Alesha's chest.

"Huh, Mr. Devan look." Instantly Alesha clutched the Devan snail that was on her chest.

"Little." Devan turned on his car engine and immediately drove his car away from the forest area. Yes, even though a little has made his brain travel.

Alesha clenched herself even more tightly as the coldness had already invaded her body.

"So before you fell, I saw you were with Dirga. Did you fall into the river because of Dirga?"
