Me, Him, And God

Me, Him, And God
5. At first I knew Islam (Alina)

Alina and Dela were walking towards the campus parking lot to wait for Mr. Gusdur to come pick up Alina.

"Aline?" The voice of a man from the right side stopped Alina and Dela.

They immediately turned to look at the voice.

Tio who was standing next to them while carrying some books and files in both hands.

"Ahh..can I help you sir?" Alina asked her Lecturer.

"Oh it turns out you guys already want to go home, yasudah," said Tio resignedly.

Dela who arrived - suddenly got a phone call from her Mama.

"Alinea? I'm going home first, papa?

My mom had the phone" Dela said, turning her back to face Alina after she got a phone call from her parents.

"Oh yaudah first don't papa"

"Let's sir" Dela told Tio.

Tio who tells him that he needs the help of Alina to be able to complete a little work, because there are few obstacles so that he involves his students in carrying out his duties as a Lecturer.

Alina was happy to help her Lecturer when she needed help.

Alina called her driver first to tell him she was going home late.

They also walked towards the room where Tio used to live.

(Airina)

I was a little nervous when I met Mr. Tio.

I asked permission to put my backpack that was pretty heavy in my opinion on the front seat of Mr. Tio's desk.

Mr. Tio immediately allowed me to sit down while offering me a drink.

I can only accept it, if I refuse the offer, I think it is quite disrespectful.

I tidied my hair and clothes for a moment, then my gaze looked around Mr. Tio's work room which was quite spacious and clean.

After a few minutes, Mr. Tio came with a tray containing coffee and tea.

He put it on the table and asked me to drink it immediately.

I immediately brought the lips of the glass to my lips and gulped them slowly.

Mr. Tio sat in the front seat of his computer screen.

"This, you can do it, right?" Ask Mr. Tio while showing the Lecturer's meeting proposal.

"Oh can sir, but.why did you tell me to do this?"

"i forgot to do the dzuhur prayer, and it was already 01.23. Meanwhile, the data must be collected at 01.50 on Prof. The money will be handed over to the campus rector.

So I hope you can help me."

"Oh yes sir, this is not a problem"

"Alright, I want to pray dzuhur first for a while, it will not be long"

I just nodded, and Mr. Tio immediately passed from before me to carry out his duties as a Muslim.

I sat in the chair that Mr. Tio used to occupy.

I copied the writing on the proposal that Mr. Tio had shown me.

It is still written by hand. Realizing that, Mr. Tio told me to rewrite it on his computer.

Now I have finished copying the writing on the proposal on the computer.

I rang my fingers that felt sore, then went to just see the atmosphere of the campus from the room Mr. Tio.

I approached the window of the room. But before that, my eyes were on someone sitting like a cloth on my right, blocked only by the bookshelf and some paper taped to the bookshelf.

So, I can kind of see it.

I got closer to the bookshelf with a purpose, so that I could see what Mr. Tio was doing more clearly.

I pura - pura is reading a book whereas, my eyes occasionally look towards Mr. Tio.

I who saw Mr. Tio with a sitting position and legs folded while facing west just think, that Mr. Tio felt like different at that time.

He looked so fresh with water still settling on some parts of his face.

Especially on the forehead.

Her face was smooth white with no feathers - feathers that grew there, like glowing white.

My eyes seemed bewitched to keep looking at him deeper, for some reason it felt like my gaze at that time was very hard to divert.

I saw it differently then

The aura of his face was quite alluring

my liver.

Set my sights on him

'Ahhhh

Why am I like this?'. My inner

I immediately returned to Mr. Tio's seat.

My eyes slightly glanced at the glass of drink in front of me.

I saw Mr. Tio who had finished with his activities, he immediately approached my desk.

I immediately re-occupy the seat on top of it still has my backpack.

I asked for permission for the drink to immediately flow in my throat which had already been very dry. Especially in an AC room like this.

I thought it was just plain iced tea but it turned out?

The drink I drank was my favorite lemon iced tea.

Although I can guess this is a powdered instant drink. But I think the taste of this drink still dominates tea and lemon.

"That drink, do you like it?" Ask Mr. Tio while walking towards me and then sit in the front seat of the computer.

I just nodded while smiling at her.

"But.why do you serve this drink to me?"

"I know, you love that drink.

Your favorite drink, right?" He asked while raising his eyebrows which were not too thick.

How did he know it was my favorite drink? I never told him.

"Have you finished?" He asked while rubbing some water deposits on his forehead, temples and chin.

Check the computer in front of him.

"Already sir, but I'm sorry if there's a typo.

But, I've double-checked her," I replied while slightly bowing slightly forward.

"Nothing, this is all right.

Wait a minute," Mr. Tio returned to his computer. I don't know what he's doing, I'm just waiting for him while my index finger taps a little bit on the table.

"Alhamdulilah o god," Mr. Tio leaned his back on the chair while sighing in relief.

"elina..

Thank you so much for helping me.

I wanted to take you with Fikri, but I did not see Fikri on campus.

You and Fikri are quite active"

"Oh Fikri was home sir before I left.

Yes sir - the same, I am also happy to be able to help you," I replied while smiling at Mr. Tio.

"God," said Mr. Tio while looking at me blankly.

Pak tio rubbed his face then went down rubbing his chest.

"Astagfirullah"

I just frowned while looking at him confused.

"Why Sir?"

"Ahh it's okay," I saw her a little flutter when I questioned her to Mr. Tio.

I'm very happy today, to have a special time with Mr. Tio.

It doesn't matter to me if I always come home late because of this, at least I feel comfortable when I'm near Mr. Tio.

'Ahhh why me?..' My inner

I immediately dismissed my thoughts that were starting to get messed up.

(Tio)

For some reason when I was next to my student, my heart felt peaceful.

In fact, I don't really recognize him.

'O God, what am I thinking.

Astagfirullah'

I saw that he was busy with his cell phone, his well-gathered hair adding to the charisma engraved on his face.

I was in front of the computer, occasionally stealing glances at him.

Suddenly the sound of knocking on the door was heard from outside.

I immediately let him in.

"Sorry sir, this will be resolved until three o'clock.

Because after that, the report will be immediately handed over to Mr. Ferdian.

I completed some files that still had to be re-revised" Prof said. Money by putting some files on my desk.

Alina, who was busy with her cellphone, just turned to look at prof.wang and I who were talking.

"Ahh yes.

Well, Prof, thank you," I said

Profs. Wang only looked at me and Alina in turn.

Then ask permission to leave my room which only leaves me and Alina after putting some files that I have to complete today.

"Maybe there's something I can help sir". Alina asked with her phone while looking at me.

"Ahh already, I don't feel good already troublesome you. You can already pu.." I haven't had time to answer, but already interrupted my speech first.

"No sir, you are wrong.

I as a student was very happy if my performance could help the lecturer a little"

"Ahaha

When you think like that.

This is it, you please copy the Lecturer's data on this campus," I said while submitting one file that was prof. Wang gave it to me.

"But sir..

I use my father's computer? or how?"

"You have a laptop, right?

I will connect the flash to your laptop"

Alina just nodded and turned her body to take the laptop from inside the backpack that was propped up on the chair.

I gave him my blue flash, and he immediately connected it to his laptop.

"Sorry sir, which file is it?" Her question while turning her laptop became pointed at me.

"The Data Lecturer," I replied briefly.

Then I clicked on the file and handed the laptop back.

Me and my students are like office workers, with our busy lives on a computer screen.

He looks very serious about his laptop.

"Wouldn't your parents be upset that you're coming home late?" Ask the one who broke the silence.

"I've told him, sir" he replied without looking at me who kept busy with his laptop.

(Airina)

I took a short break from my job while sipping a lemon tea that was only a quarter.

I still see Mr. Tio who is busy with his computer.

"Astagfirullah," exclaimed Mr. Tio when one of his ballpoints fell to the floor.

He immediately picked it up and put it back on his work desk.

"Ehemmmm.

Sorry sir, the sentence you said just now, is that a sentence?

It seems.the father often said that," I asked Mr. Tio.

He paused for a moment his work, then turned his head towards me.

"In Islam, that sentence is that when we are surprised, it is recommended to say it"

"Then, for worship in Islam?"

"As I did.

Morning, afternoon, evening, evening, and evening.

And before performing the prayer, a Muslim and a Muslimah are required to cleanse themselves from the hadast first. Or called 'BERWUDHU"

"Yes my..

Sure. I wouldn't be able to do it"

"Who said?

Something that is routinely done. Even if you have to, you will get used to it. I did my duty as a Muslim, it was because I had received a special education about religion from my childhood.

I was required to do this when I was a young man, so now I'm used to it and willingly do it"

"Because Islam never teaches compulsion?"

"Rubber, how do you know?"

"Prof. Wang told me.

Wait a minute, that means.the father knows that I am.."

"An atheist!" Say it while smiling.

How could he know? and I never told him at all.

Especially my privacy like this.

I immediately asked her my curiosity.

"That time..

I accidentally saw your bio when I was with Prof. Wangs.

At first, I was quite unexpected.

Maybe it has become part of your life"

I just nodded and was a little. I'm afraid this will be known to many. Where will my pride be?

I asked Mr. Tio to keep this from everyone, and he agreed.

"Oh yes..

How many years have you been a lecturer?" Much

I don't know why I always wanted to know about her background.

I think Mr. Tio is a generous person, always answering any questions I ask, even for questions that I find trivial.

"Maybe it's been about four years"

I forgot about my job because of our serious conversation, I immediately finished it and returned the blue flashdisk to the owner.

Mr. Tio thanked me repeatedly because I had been willing to help him.

I can only say the right words to complete the question.

Allahuakbar

There was a loud noise from outside Mr. Tio's room.

I often hear that voice. However, I don't know what it means.

Mr. Tio immediately raised his head, then said something.

"Alhamdulillah," he said while rubbing both palms on his face.

Then I saw her bowed with her eyes closed.

I just looked at him confused by what he was doing, which I found quite strange.

"sir

Father why?

You sick, huh?" Said me who was worried about his condition that did not budge at all.

He did not answer my question, but just remained silent with his eyes closed.

The voice continues to sound.

Until a while later, the voice that was quite strange in my opinion, had stopped.

Mr. Tio opened his eyes again and rubbed his face with both palms.

"Sorry Alina.

I don't mean to pretend not to hear what you said just now, it's just..

A Muslim is stopped from speaking for a moment when he hears the voice of azan" he explained.

"Azan?"

"azan is a call of worship for Muslims to perform the five prayers of fardu that I explained earlier.

Azan was echoed by muezzin," he explained

I don't know why I did not want to find out information about Islam, now the information is like trying to make me find out more.

Since my meeting with Pak tio, I have become a little more knowledgeable about Islam.

My heart does not refuse, compared to my mother who always warned me to God, but this is another thing when at my Lecturer.

Actually, I want to question what a muezzin is.

But I broke my intention.

I guess, it doesn't matter.

Just wasting - wasting time.

"I'll go to the mosque for a while, to pray." Say it while getting up from the chair and then walk to the place where he prayed earlier.

He took out a black headgear.

But, it can fold.

So Mr. Tio just gripped her without having to wear it first.

"I follow Sir," I said suddenly stopping Mr. Tio's steps, he immediately turned to me and just nodded with a smile.

I immediately followed his steps out without carrying my backpack and mobile phone.

"Sir, why don't you bring a car?" Ask me from the back of Mr. Tio who walks behind me.

"The place is close, why should you bring a car?

Throw away the gas," he replied while chuckling.

I heard the answer just now, just chuckled and thought, Mr. Tio is frugal too.

Now I and Mr. Tio have arrived at a place where there are many people who want to carry out activities like Mr. Tio earlier.

The building is not too spacious, but looks very clean and neat with a white paint combination of gold.

Moreover, I saw on the roof there was a short name with Arabic script.

On the wall of the building, there is an Arabic script neatly lined up on the top of the wall.

I admired her enough and looked around the building which, I think, was quite beautiful.

Not to forget the courtyard of the building there is a fountain in front of it, and around it stands a fence that every permeter decorated with white lights that have not been lit is located on the iron fence.

I only saw Mr. Tio who was taking off his shoes and socks while sitting down.

I also saw many people who entered the building without wearing footwear.

Then came someone who was about to approach Mr. Tio.

"Asalamualaikum" said the man standing behind Mr. Tio.

"Vaalaikumsalam.

Uh ustadz." Reply Mr. Tio and want to greet someone.

His face is so clean even with the color of his skin is tanned mature with a few lines - lines on his face. But it looks like a glow just like I saw Mr. Tio at the time of prayer.

Although the age of his that I estimate has exceeded the age of Mr. Tio, but the wrinkles on his face only look a little.

He was wearing a white shirt with a dark blue plate and the exact same headgear that Mr. Tio had brought.

He was exposed to a folded cloth and his hands held like a bracelet but crowded with a few mute grains.

I don't know, I don't know what it's called.

"Well, yo? This who?" Ask someone while looking at me.

"Oh, this is my student ustadz" replied Mr. Tio.

"I'm Alina, I'm Alina" I said as I thrust my hand at the man.

However, he simply pressed his right and left palms together and placed them in front of his chest with a smile and slightly bowed his head to me.

I pulled my hand back.

"Sorry, man,

I am Ali Syidiq Ibrahim," he replied with a smile.

Her smile was so sincere and heartfelt.

"Ohhh," I said as I nodded and returned his smile.

"The antum's not coming in?" Ask ustadz Ali.

"Sa.." I haven't been able to answer, suddenly Mr. Tio quickly interrupted my speech.

"Alina is not praying ustadz," interrupted sir tio

Ustadz ali just nodded then permission to enter the place first.

Me and Mr. Tio just nodded

"Sir, why Father?" Ask me with a broken sentence.

"You wait here for a while until I finish, after that.

I will take you to eat" he said, leaving me alone.

I just stared at his back that had passed from before me, then I sat on the floor while waiting for Mr. Tio to finish.

I was just waiting for Mr. Tio who was praying, I was waiting for him on the outside terrace of the building.

I've been waiting for a few minutes, but Mr. Tio has not finished with his activities.

I saw a lot of people passing by. Perhaps, they will also perform prayers like Mr. Tio.

"What kind of long cloth cake is not hot?" I murmured when I saw so many women wearing long cloths that covered his head up to the waist, some even reached the thighs.

Those I see, always shake hands when they cross paths with people they may know.

His friendly smile always emanated from their faces while shaking hands.

'Is Islam that peaceful?' My inner.

"Alina, what are you doing here?"

Suddenly the voice of a man greeted me while I was busy watching the many people passing by.

The man was wearing minus glasses while standing near me.

I immediately looked up and stood before him.

"Ah.. Prof, I was waiting for Mr. Tio to pray, "my slightly awkward reply.

"Ohhh yasudah, I. go in first," said Prof. Wang then walked into the building.

I was still standing while draping my hands in front of my chest.

The heat of the sun is so hot today, the sweat droplets on my temples are still falling alternately.

"Ehem"

"Sir Tio?" I said with a bit of surprise when Mr. Tio was already standing right behind me.

Mr. Tio invited me to accompany him to lunch.

Because from now on, he has not filled his stomach because there is a special task that requires him to postpone his lunch.

Mr. Tio and I walked back to campus.

"You know Prof. Wang?" He asked without looking at me.

"Ohhh

Not the sir, just known lately"

Mr. tio just nodded.

"Sir, why if a Muslim does not pray like you did?"

"Yes sinful"

"Sinful?"

"As described in HR. Muslims no. 257

(Limiters) between a Muslim and idleness and disbelief is abandoning prayer. (CHR. Muslims no. 257)

Yeah, a little example of this.

You take education at the Pradasibya campus, surely there are its own rules, right?

Well, if you violate, of course you get reprimanded even, you could be dropped out"

"There's an explanation, too?

Oh yes sir," I replied while brushing my hair that was hit by a strong wind.

Something that is carried out by force, over time will certainly get used to it.

And will be voluntary to do it`).
