Me, Him, And God

Me, Him, And God
12. I became a convert!

(Airina)

Today I intend to find someone who I think can grant my request. Yes, Ustadzah Nurul, I should be able to meet him at any cost.

I immediately packed whatever items I would bring to meet Ustadzah Nurul. I stuffed some stuff I could carry into the backpack I used to use to go to college. I put one of them gift ever given Ustadzah Nurul at that time into a bag. Because I haven't been able to open it yet, so I will discuss it with him later. I'm sure this is not just a gift.

Now my body is only wrapped in a short-sleeved black shirt, combined with long jeans. Not to forget I wear a Korean jacket to cover my slightly open body.

"Hasn't ya?". I muttered while tilting my body against the mirror. I straightened my blonde hair with my fingers. And don't forget I always put a silver watch on my right wrist.

I didn't find Papah and Brother Fian in the living room. Only the ticking of the clock became a silent sound.

"Oh, at most to the office," I looked at every corner of the room. Then hurry up and leave.

"Hurry up, where are you going?" The voice of a man stopped my steps. I immediately turned my head back. And sure enough, Brother Fian was standing beside the stairs watching me in a hurry. I approached him first.

"Ahh, Alina.mau went undaunted," I said with a truncated tone.

"Hmmm no, you don't have class today?" He draped both hands in front of his chest while tilting his head with a probing look.

I was increasingly unable to answer the question my older brother asked.

"Alina there's a need to be undaunted, dahh ya Alina go first," I immediately approached the door with a little running while tidying up the clothes.

Friday, 13:00 is the day I'm going to do something pretty risky. But it will guide the way my life becomes more directed, my eyes can not be separated looking for a figure of the existence of someone who, I think, can help change my life that is swayed by the wind. Unfortunately, I did not find him. Though I am very sure, that he is often around here.

Tinkggg

A single message managed to get in from the green-colored app of my phone. I immediately took it out of my jeans pocket and checked it further.

'Alina? Where are you?' The message was sent from the name of the contact I named PAK TIO.

To be honest, I was confused as to what to answer, should I be honest? Or lying?

Both are equally at risk. Ahhhh

'Oh this sir, I'm again around the campus'

Omg! The message I just sent, was immediately marked with two blue ticks.

'The campus? If it's not wrong today you have no schedule?'

I'm getting desperate for those questions.

'Ahh yes, but I'm just walking around'

I had to lie, but it was true. If this mosque is located not far from my campus.

Ceklis two ashes, ahhhh

I'll turn off my phone immediately.

But why am I so stupid? Why didn't I ask him why he was trying to figure out where I was? Ahhh stupid!

I took a slow breath, there was a sense of disappointment veiled in my heart because the current main character I had yet to find. And I need it most.

I walked towards the mosque, then sat on the terrace without any reason.

Was my intention just in vain?

Ahh, no way!

I'm not giving up!

I ruffled my hair and breathed my breath violently.

"Geeh!" I felt a hand reach my shoulder.

"Assalamualaikum," from his voice I can already guess that the owner of this voice is...

"Ustadzah?" I grew happy when the person I was currently looking for suddenly approached me.

He only smiled his special smile while holding my shoulder.

"Ustadzah, thankfully Ustadzah came. I was looking for an ustadzah," I said it cheerfully.

"Oh yeah? What's the matter?" He said that looked curious.

"A-anu. can we talk for a minute?" I started to get nervous. My chest was suddenly unable to regulate my breath perfectly.

"God can, God can,"

Now that I'm getting closer, there's only one more step for Alina. You will get happiness. I tried to convince myself.

Now I and Ustadzah Nurul are talking on the terrace of the mosque. But on the outside.

"Ustadzah, in fact.my purpose and purpose was to discover Ustadzah..

I'm..."

"I?..." He appears to be tilting his head wrapped in black cloth.

Why am I so nervous like this, ahh shit!

"I..

I want Ustadzah Nurul to guide me to make me a part of Islam" I said with confidence.

"Huh yeah?" He covered his mouth with one hand, a sign of not believing what I just said.

"meaning? What?..." Say it with a cut.

"Yes Ustadzah" I tried to convince him who seemed to doubt my decision.

"Alhamdulillah, Lord. You are the one who throws out the hearts of men," he seemed to pervade his words. What I guess is that he was praising his god.

"But.this won't be easy Alina. I don't mean to doubt your words. However, this decision should not be arbitrary you do it. There will be many challenges you will face later. But, God willing, if you are really sure, I can help you" he continued.

His words were so soothing to my heart, it turns out, there are still people in this world who care about my fate.

"Ustadzah, I didn't play around with my speech just now. As long as I am tired, life is based only on ignorance, and deceived by circumstances. Sa.." I could no longer continue my words, even stemming my tears I could barely afford. Then I just spilled it.

"I want to live with a definite purpose. Which is why I was born to walk the world. I have no place and someone who hears my complaint Ustadzah..

Am I wrong to assume that God is never present in human life.

Help me Ustadzah, I.." I really can't figure out why I can be so helpless when I say this.

"As I said, I can help you. May Allah make it easier for you to be closer to him.

However, there was one thing that made me curious" he said, looking doubtful.

"What is Ustadzah?"

"Why do you suddenly want to convert to Islam?" May I know why?"

I then told her my dream that night, which I thought, was not just a dream, but a clue.

Ustadzah Nurul who seemed to understand my reason for being part of Islam, he immediately invited me to enter the mosque. Either I will be flanked, which is clear, now I am really ready to become a Muslim.

"We go inside. I think.this is very important. Come on!" Take it while moving, then walk ahead of me. But then turned back to look at me who looked nervous indistinctly.

"Both Ustadzah" said I who began to try to control myself. Then I followed her steps from behind.

What a very calming atmosphere. The breeze that made it through the door of the mosque is very soothing. Plus the atmosphere in this place is very peaceful. Didn't see a single commotion. That is also the reason why I changed my mind and wanted to be part of Islam. Because Islam, is a religion that is very peaceful and peaceful, loving each other, also the teachings in it are very easy to recognize reason and logic.

"Alina, introduce, this is Ustadz Afwan. He often helped me teach children. Only, he came to this mosque on certain days. So you can't see him every day" he said, trying to introduce me to a man I'm estimating, the same age as Mr. Tio. Honestly, I felt very impressed by her extremely neat appearance wearing a white shirt, and subordinate like a skirt, but I was sure it was not a skirt. Also above his head was a black object that slightly covered his hair.

Geez, I'm so layman, that to the point that I don't know.

"Asalamualaikum. Introduce, I'm Afwan," he said while gluing his palms placed in front of his chest. His smile seemed so soothing, it was the generosity on his face.

Either I feel it, or it's true. I saw a beautiful light around Ustadz Afwan's face when I first saw it. Even the same when I first met Ustadzah Nurul.

"Yes, I'll introduce you to Alina Ustadz" I replied, smiling at Ustadz Afwan.

"Wah Ustadzah and Alina looked a bit like well" Ustadz Afwan said, looking at me and Ustadzah Nurul in turn. I just frowned and I and Ustadzah Nurul looked at each other.

"I'm sorry, Ustadzah, is it going to start now?" Connect Ustadz Afwan politely and carefully.

I don't know how respectful Ustadz Afwan is to Ustadzah Nurul.

"The difference is that Alina is young, while I am old" Ustadzah Nurul replied with a chuckle.

I smiled slightly at the two.

"God willing, good luck," he said while smiling.

"But before that." ustadzah Nurul seemed to circulate his gaze and looked in search of something.

"Ehmm, sorry Ustadzah, if I can.let me take it," ustadz Afwan seemed to offer himself to help Ustadzah Nurul to get something. Like there is an inner bond. Thought.

"It's okay, let me be, '" he replied gently.

I no longer have any doubts about Islam. Religion is perfect. My steps are getting steady.

Then Ustadzah Nurul went to the cupboard located a little far to the right corner. I kept watching him, but why was my heart getting dak dak duk. Can't believe his taste today I'm gonna be...

Shortly after that, Ustadzah Nurul came and sat back between me and Ustadz Afwan with something in his hand. Like gift.

"Here, you try to wear this first" he said, handing the gift over to me. I took it for granted without asking from whom.

"I'm just practicing trust, this is someone's special gift to you. And now the time is right, you can have it" he explained.

Then I just frowned, someone? Is the time right? Meanin?

A few questions came to my brain.

"I mean Ustadzah?" I asked a little while tilting my head.

He smiled without answering my question. How bizarre.

Ustadzah Nurul looked at me and Ustadz Afwan in turn, then slightly nodded at me.

I don't understand what that means!

I quickly opened the gift.

Ustadzah Nurul and Ustadz Afwan just looked at each other and smiled at me.

"Ustadzah?" I asked while holding a cloth like a hijab, but with a size that looks bigger. I kept watching her, if I thought about it. This hijab is so pretty.

Plain white color, with a little brukat motif that becomes the most beautiful part.

"Now, try to use two or two" said Ustadzah Nurul.

I just obeyed the orders of Ustadzah Nurul. I asked permission first to stand up and wear a piece of that big hijab to the waist. Then sit back and try to find the function of the hijab that I am holding.

"Let me help" she said, putting the big headscarf on my head very carefully.

"MasyaAllah" said Ustadz Afwan, who saw me for the first time wearing a hijab. He seemed to be swallowing his saliva deeply.

"Given his view of Ustadz Afwan," said Ustadzah Nurul while slightly chuckling.

"I-I'm sorry Ustadzah," he replied timidly.

I held back a bit of laughter at Ustadz Afwan's clumsy-looking manner.

Ustadzah Nurul just smiled looking at me.

"You're so much prettier in Alina's covered clothes" she said.

Did ya? I was that pretty when my body was closed. Ustadz Afwan was fascinated to see me.

"But Ustadzah, who gave me this?"

"Someone forbade me to tell you his name. You'll know for yourself, take it easy, too,"

Ahhh, I'm so dissatisfied with the answer. But I didn't ask much more, I just nodded my head in understanding.

"But we still need one more witness" said Ustadzah nurul who seemed convinced.

'Witnesses?' Ask me in my heart.

Isn't Ustadz Afwan enough? Is this really the initial requirement of being a convert?

"Sorry Ustadzah?" My toky..

"Ahh for a moment," he answered, who seemed to be thinking about something.

"I'm ready to be the second witness" suddenly a loud and loud male voice sounded. The three of us suddenly circulated the view looking for the direction of the source of the sound.

Then I found a man standing at the door. She smiled sweetly at me.

"Sir Tio?" How could he know of my existence?

Shortly after, Mr. Tio seemed to walk towards me, then sat down near Ustadz Afwan.

"Sorry Ustadzah, let me watch my student become a convert" he said confidently to Ustadzah Nurul who still seemed confused at the arrival of my Lecturer.

"Alhamdulillah, finally..

Perhaps, even I really need one more witness," he replied that seemed to give satisfaction to my Lecturer.

Mr. Tio just nodded with a smile.

I'm seeing.. Mr. Tio just kept watching the big hijab I was wearing. What might this hijab...

Destiny drew closer, and the creed grew before the eyes. The girl, Alina, seemed increasingly concerned, not knowing what came to her mind. His hands and forehead often give off clear liquid but he tries to control his mind.

He looked for a moment at Ustadzah Nurul who then replied with a nod of convincing signs that Alina was stepping onto the right path.

Then Alina looked back at the man who was none other than her own Lecturer, Mr. Tio. Then the man smiled while nodding. Alina looked back.

"Allah Alina? Are you ready?" Tanya Ustadzah Nurul.

"I'm ready Ustadzah" he replied as he exhaled.

"Okay, I'll get started soon. And for Ustadz Afwan and Mr. Tio, please do'a to be given a smooth running well,"

"InshaAllah Ustadzah" answered the two in a compact manner.

"If you are really ready, then follow the sentence I say," said Ustadzah Nurul turned his sitting position to be a little closer to Alina.

Alina tried to regulate her breathing.

"Bismilbornrahmaanirrahim.

Start, follow me

Ashadu,"

"As-asadu," Alina seemed to follow the sentence uttered by Ustadzah Nurul even though she seemed to have a little trouble saying it.

"Anlaaillaha,"

"Anlaa aliha,"

"Anlaaillaha" repeated Ustadzah Nurul

"Anlaaillaha,"

"Allah,"

"Allah,"

Cold sweat began to wet Alina's entire body again. He seemed to be very influenced by the sentence he was studying now.

"Goddessa,"

"Know,"

"Goddessa,"

"Goddessa,"

"Anna muhammedan,"

"Anna muhammedan,"

"Rasulullah,"

"Rasul.rasull," this time Alina seemed very troubled by her last words. But he kept trying.

"Rasulullah,"

"I testify,"

"I testify,"

"There is no god but Allah,"

"There is no god but Allah,"

"And I testify,"

"And I testify,"

"Prophet Muhammad is the messenger of Allah,"

"Prophet Muhammad is the messenger of Allah,"

"Alhamdulillah," said Ustadzah Nurul as he rushed to embrace Alina.

"Alhamdulillah," said Ustadz Afwan and Pak Tio while rubbing palms into their faces.

"Ustadzah, do I now have a god?" Alina said as she sobbed in the deck of Ustadzah Nurul. For some reason when I saw the two of them hugging like that, I guess they were like mother and son only. No no, I'm not! They just got to know.

"Of course it's pretty. And.." ustadzah Nurul let go of his embrace for a moment. Then held onto Alina's shoulders.

"You're officially a Nausea.

Do you believe that God is one?"

"I believe in Ustadzah, which is God"

"God, and to the prophet Muhammad, do you believe that he is the messenger of Allah?"

"I believe Ustadzah," he said steadily as he wiped the beming liquid at the corner of his eye.

"And later.for his worship ceremony..

Um, did you open that gift?" Ask her

"Not yet Ustadzah, but I brought it anyway,"

Alina then rushes to pick up the gift of Ustadzah Nurul in a backpack located some distance away from her. He seemed a little troubled with the big hijab (mukena) that he was using now.

Alina then sat back down with a red gift. Then he was told by Ustadzah Nurul to open it immediately.

"Islam," muttered Alina while reading the book cover of the contents of the gift.

"Yes, I deliberately gave the gift away long before this opportunity came.

And now, everything about Islam is there, complete. Starting from the ordinance of prayer, reading the Qur'an, and there is still much you have to learn.

Hopefully you can be a good Muslim, and always Istiqomah in your current path" he explained at length.

"Ustadzah" Alina re-embraced Ustadzah Nurul with tears. He was so unexpected, this meeting with him was an intermediary that God placed on the sidelines of his destiny.

"Ustadzah, thank you for guiding me, introducing me to Islam.

I am very grateful to have met Ustadzah as well as this book" he continued.

"I am only the mediator that God has entrusted.

Maybe this is the way you want to go" he answered, rubbing the back of Alina's head like a mother's affection for her child.

"And..Mr. Tio, Ustadz, I wish you a thousand thanks for being a witness to what is happening now,"

"Sama-sama, May it always be Istiqomah yes," replied Ustadz Afwan kindly.

"Sama-sama, my hope is the same as Ustadzah Nurul and Ustadz Afwan" he replied.

All seemed happy because today there is a newcomer, a girl who was tired of looking for her god and now, she found him.

"Oh yes, Mr. Tio, did I just tell you?" Ask Ustadzah Nurul to Pak Tio.

"Ohh, can Ustadzah,"

"Do you know what this is called?" Tanya Ustadzah Nurul while holding the big hijab that Alina was wearing.

Alina just shook her head.

"This is the name MUKENA which is commonly used by a Muslim woman to perform prayers. And the one who entrusted this to you is your Lecturer of English" he replied at length.

"Sir Tio?" Alina seemed to round her eyes towards Pak Tio.

Ustadzah Nurul just nodded.

"My sea..

Thank you sir for your thought, I will use it as well as possible. Also.I really like the design," I said the thing to Mr. Tio with a little awkwardness and embarrassment.

"Sama-sama, it has become my reze you,"

Now that Alina was on her way home, her heart was so happy beyond measure. He did not expect to get this grand happiness, as beautiful as this. Again, his tears fell again while staring at the window of the taxi.

"O Allah, thank you for the destiny you have set for me. After this, I will try to get closer to you. Guide me, O my Lord," said Alina.

"And Mama, look..

Your daughter has found her god. If God hadn't brought you first, maybe our family would have felt this pleasure together. May you always be calm on the side of God.

O God, and always take care of my mother, she's the jewel of my heart don't let her body be scratched one bit" she said.

He glanced for a moment at the paper bag containing the gift of Ustadzah Nurul and his lecturer, Pak Tio. Which he considered a special gift in his life.

Tuk tuk tuk..

"Asalamualaik..

Whah? Brother Fian?" Alina came in. He plans to tell this about the accident when he gathers later.

"Italya-tsa..." Not yet a man who had reached the age of almost half a century answered, he quickly turned to his daughter, and reflexively, immediately dropped the magazine he had been reading.

"Son?" He said in surprise as he walked towards Alina.

"Pahh," hept. He then hugged his father. But his father still did not understand this incident.

"What is this really about?" Ask Alina's father, Irawan.

"What are you?." irawan then quickly held his daughter's two cheeks.

"Yes pah, Alina has become a convert" he replied, trying to convince.

"Huh? Deck?" Suddenly the voice of a man sounded so loud that it made Alina so surprised.

The man then ran towards Alina.

Alina began to explain the incident earlier this afternoon in detail to her Father and Big Brother.

Then the third wept, truly desirous. What Alina used to hate God so much, now she wants to know him.

"Non?" The voice managed to avert his sight.

"Bibii.." said Alina while running and want to hug a woman who is like her mother, take care of her from childhood.

"Auntie seneng non already like this," he cried in the arms of his master's daughter.

Alina was a stubborn girl, she was now so meek, just like her late mother.

"Yes bi, do'ain Alina to be better,"

Irawan then walked, and re-hugging his daughter also continued with Fian. He said he would give a gift to his sister for this.

As far as any god in your life is concerned, you will miss his presence. It's just that, your conscience was briefly closed to the ego for it`).
