Maura: The New Year Tragedy

Maura wants to see Dad now!

Freya stared at the car that had just come out of the yard, the car that Mama Lea used to travel in. Already this week Mama Lea always went out from the morning after Bryan also Papa Abri left for work and went home in the afternoon before the child and her husband came home. Mama Lea's attitude changes back to Freya as the beginning of the meeting, after Freya learns of Bryan's new past.

"So this is the answer from my mother's words at that time."

"I don't hesitate to kick you out of the Abrisam family if you make my son fall back."

"But why is Mama still on the woman's side?"

"Why did I forget to ask Mas Bryan to tell him about his past?"

Papa Abri as well as Mama Lea looked surprised to see Freya standing in front of their room door in shock, her hands shaking resulting in two glasses that she held falling. Freya stared in disbelief at what she had just heard.

"Mmmm-af!!" with a stammering Freya apologized and immediately cleaned the broken glass that also hit his feet.

"Freya!! You're okay, right?" Papa Abri lowered his head holding Freya's crouched shoulder. Papa Abri felt that Freya was holding back her cries because she felt Freya's shoulders tremble.

Freya was silent, still picking up the broken glass.

"Have you heard our conversation?" asked Papa Abri again actually made tears that had been resistant to Freya immediately shed wet his cheeks.

"Darling!!! Why so long?"

Freya squealed to shards of glass when she heard Bryan's screaming voice calling out to her.

"Freya you're okay, son?" ask Papa Abri who looks worried about seeing the condition of his daughter-in-law.

"Darling!! Why did you hurt your hand?" Bryan moved his feet quickly when he saw Freya's fingers bleeding.

Freya looked at Bryan who was approaching towards her, the more and more tears came out of her eyelids.

"Not to continue. Let the maid clean up." Bryan helped Freya stand up.

Freya felt pain in her legs.

"Why can't you be careful, dear?" Bryan who felt furious finally brought Freya to his carrier.

"Pa, please ask the maid to clean it up." Bryan asked his Papa before bringing Freya back to the room.

Papa Abri just nodded. "Hopefully Freya didn't ask Bryan this first." Papa's mind began to be alert.

Bryan dropped Freya off on the sofa, he immediately took out the medicine box. Without saying much Bryan treated the fingers and left foot Freya who was exposed to broken glass.

"Mother why?" maura asked who immediately got out of bed following her Mother who was sitting on the sofa.

"Mother is okay, beautiful. Maura was silent first let me treat Mother's wound first." said Bryan and embraced Maura. He sat quietly near his mother.

Freya looked at Bryan with many questions on her mind.

"Did Bryan really have a child with that woman?"

"Is it true that women are first love and even love the death of Mas Bryan?"

"Is this why Mas Bryan never said love to me because I still love that woman."

"Will Mas Bryan come back with that woman and throw me Maura?"

Bryan looked at Freya after he finished treating his wife's wounds.

"What's that sick?" Freya nodded in response to Bryan's question.

Freya was crying hysterically in Bryan's arms. He hugged Bryan even more.

"Never leave me with Maura."

"Never leave us."

"Mother don't cry. huwaaa." Maura finally cried too.

Bryan said he saw his two heros both crying. He hugged them both to calm them down.

"What's the matter exactly?"

"Why do you seem so scared that I left you is also Maura."

Freya just nodded, which she was worried about was not Bryan who had met the woman again, but if Bryan suddenly ignored and forgot himself as well as Maura. That's what he's afraid of and worried about right now.

Freya admits that she has started falling in love with the father of her child. Falling in love is not because Bryan is rich and has everything. Freya has no reason to fall in love with Bryan. Nor does he know since when those feelings began to grow, the more he brushed them off the greater the feeling Freya had for Bryan.

Whether Freya is in love because of the attention she gives to herself as well as Maura, or the affection she gives, or the simple happiness she gives to herself as well as Maura, Freya has no idea. Or Freya fell in love with Bryan's possessive attitude that always makes Freya feel that she is a valuable item owned by Bryan that no one should touch even see it. Freya doesn't know either.

"Papa would ask the woman to do a DNA test on her son."

Freya stood up and followed Papa Abri out of the study.

"Oh yes!! Papa almost forgot." Papa Abri stopped his steps and looked at Freya.

"If you have a picture of your birth mother, Papa asked for it?"

Freya frowned, she almost forgot that Bryan and Papa Abri already knew who her biological parents were.

"Papa will try to find him. Because she's both Dutch like your mother-in-law."

"Papa asked Papa's friend who was there for help, and he asked for a picture of your mother" explained Papa Abri.

"But the picture was left behind in Freya's old house, Pa." said Freya.

"Don't your friend go back there?" Freya nodded.

"You can ask him to send you a picture."

Freya nodded, "Yes Pa."

"Alright, Papa go first."

Freya went back inside after seeing Papa Abri get into the car.

"Mother!!" maura shouted as she ran towards her mother.

"Darling, the road doesn't have to run." said Freya, looking at Maura worriedly.

"Mother!! Mother!! It's a bracelet from Uncle Jury, right?" Maura shows the bracelet that Bryan gave Maura when he won the Olympics.

"Where did Maura get it?" Freya crouched down in front of Maura.

"In the drawer near Mother's bed."

"Is this not a bracelet from Uncle Jury?" maura asked again with reddened and teary eyes.

"Yes dear."

"So it's Bryan's father Maura's father?"

Freya nodded, "You already remember dear." - She held Maura's hand tightly.

Maura nodded with a droplet of tears falling down her cheeks.

"Maura remember, Bun. Maura remembers."

"Maura wants to see Dad. Want to see Dad now. huwaaaa."

"Come Mother!!!" whining Maura who was crying hysterically wanted to see her father.

"alright. But Maura can't cry and permission first on Miss Sari, pity she's come all the way to teach Maura."

Maura nodded and headed for Bryan's mini library room which Maura had been using for home schooling for the last few weeks.

Bryan breathed a rough sigh hearing the request of the person across there.

"All right! Send the address now."

After turning off the phone connection Bryan grabbed his suit and car keys and rushed out.

"Where are you going? Half an hour later there's a de_ meeting"

"Cancel!" bryan said firmly and immediately entered the elevator.

"Mr Bryan why? It's a huge aura. Where not with Mr. Rendy anyway."

"Ouch!!!! It could be bad if something happens."

"Where Mr. Rendy from earlier did not return."
