Rendy turned her head when she heard the sound of the door of the room she was sitting on being knocked on by someone. And he saw a middle-aged man and a man who was about as good as himself entering after saying his greetings.

The two people smiled as they looked at Rendy who had regained consciousness after a few hours ago just sleeping unconscious. But according to Rendy not that she was unconscious. He was just exhausted and finally overslept, considering that he was indeed sleep deprived after the departure of his beloved wife.

"Mas is awake. Here I bring food and drink to the Mas." said the adult man and put a tray of food and drink on a small table.

Rendy smiled faintly at the two strangers. "Greetings, I'm Rendy." Rendy replied to Ridwan's hand as well as Abah Sodiq.

"Thank you for helping me and inconveniencing Gus Ridwan and Pak Kiayi" said Rendy politely considering the moment he faced was a cleric, a kiayi.

"Sorry, where am I?" asked Rendy, even though she knew that she was currently in the boarding school. He's just a little pleasantry. That's not his style at all.

Ridwan asked them to sit down first. He felt sorry for Rendy who did look weak and a little pale because she had been robbed and probably had not filled her stomach since yesterday. He also could not bear to see his brother who stood too long considering his age which was not young anymore.

They sat on the floor with Rendy who felt uncomfortable because the floor was not covered by anything. Abah who saw Rendy was uncomfortable asking Rendy to sit on the bed because there was no chair in the room. But Rendy refused the offer even though the heart said yes.

Rendy nodded and smiled faintly at Ridwan and Abah Sodiq. He also thanked for the humanity that Ridwan and Abah Sodiq gave to him for the calamity that occurred in his family.

"Can Mr Kiayi, I stay here for the next two or three months?" asked Rendy once again asking Abah Sodiq for permission.

"May son Rendy. I'll be happy to teach you here. And maybe Ridwan if I'm busy." Rendy smiled with sparkling eyes at Abah Sodiq's words. Rendy also continues to thank Abah Sodiq and also Ridwan who would accept and teach him about the science of religion, especially sincere.

There was a knock on the door from outside the room that Rendy was in and a greeting. Ridwan stood up from his seat and opened the door.

"Zahro!! What was? asked Ridwan who saw his youngest sister who was knocking on the door and a small child.

"It's Bang, Zahro wants to send Rafa. He said he wanted to see the person he helped this morning. He cried constantly wanting to see the state of the person." explained Zahro quietly to his brother. The woman also did not see even a glance in the room that there was her Abah was also a stranger. He just hung down.

Ridwan cleared his throat and nodded slowly at Zahro. He invited Rafa into the room after Zahro resigned.

"This is Rafa Rendy. He was the one who found Rendy's son." said Abah Sodiq who saw Rendy confused looking at Rafa who was said to be crying just because he wanted to meet her.

"Thank you for helping Uncle."

Rafa who heard Rendy say thank you to him immediately rushed to hug Rendy tightly. The little boy was seen crying in Rendy's arms.

Rendy stared confusedly at Ridwan as well as Abah Sodiq. She did not know why the little boy suddenly hugged her and cried. Is there something wrong with him? or did something happen before?

After Rafa calms down and doesn't cry anymore, Abah Sodiq tells Rafa all about Rendy. Rendy is shocked to learn that Rafa is an orphan from the age of five. He remembered Mutia who had the same fate as Rafa, being an orphan from a young age.

"Has Rafa already adopted Mr. Kiayi? If not, can I adopt Rafa as my son?" Rendy once again asks permission politely to Abah Sodiq to become the adoptive parent of Rafa.

Abah Sodiq looked at Rendy and Rafa alternately. Rendy with hopeful eyes, while Rafa with happy eyes. Abah Sodiq never saw Rafa as happy as it was given that more than three families wanted to adopt Rafa as his son. But rejected by Rafa. But this time, Abah Sodiq saw Rafa who was so happy to hear that he would be adopted by Rendy.

"Rafa wants Kiayi sir. Rafa wants to be adopted by Uncle Rendy." said Rafa quickly while looking at Rendy with a big smile.

"You really want to be Uncle's son?" asked Rendy and immediately embraced by Rafa who was still developing a big smile.

"All right, wait another two months. All will be taken care of by Uncle and Rafa's friends can still study at this cottage."

Rafa who was so happy immediately took Rendy's right hand and kissed him reverently. Not to forget, the little boy also kissed the hand of Abah Sodiq and Ridwan reverently.
