Happy Reading All🌾's
Dara finished class at exactly eleven. The woman was still sitting on her stool. He looked pensive, thinking about the things that were raging in his head and of course only one person, Stevan. Shortly after, someone patted her on the shoulder, which made Dara look back and stop her daydreaming activity. He found Alden who was already standing beside him.
“Lo is sure of the same decision lo?” alden asked, skeptical of the decision Dara would make this time.
Indeed, before they entered the class, Dara had conveyed his decision to his two friends, and they both could only support the decision that Dara took. They as friends can only pray that Dara's decision is the best for him and those around him.
Dara hesitated. “Yes what do you want again, Al? Papa will not cancel this matchmaking. Whatever Papa's decision, no one can be contested.”
“Gue as your best friend always pray for you, Dar. Hopefully your decision this time is right,” said Alden smiled sincerely.
“Gue is also the best doain for you kok, Dar,” continued Eva who just approached the two of them.
“Thank you, yes, you guys are indeed my best friends.” Dara drew her two best friends. They hug each other.
“Yes because your best friend is just the two of us,” Eva chuckled while laughing.
“Injection,” said Dara who made Eva mute. “But actually, hahaha,” continued Dara then the three of them laughed together.
“Udah first, yes, I want to talk this same Ste, dadah.” Dara waved her hand towards Alden and Eva then walked away from them.
Then, the woman opened the lock screen of her phone and typed a message to Stevan.
Someone wants me to talk to you
I'm waiting at the college park
After clicking the send button, Dara turned off her phone, put it in her sweater pocket and started stepping towards the park.
Arriving at the park, Dara sat herself on one of the benches, swinging her legs while waiting for Stevan to come. A few minutes later Stevan came to him, he was sitting next to Dara.
“You said what?” stevan asked as he looked at Dara's face.
“Eum, Ste. Like our relationship can only reach si—” Just now Dara wants to continue his sentence. However, it was cut off first by Stevan's voice.
“You mean, we broke up?” Dara nodded, confirming Stevan's guess. “What did you say? You're kidding, ‘kan?” stevan asked in disbelief.
“I'm serious, I'm no longer kidding.”
“But why? I'm wrong what's wrong with you, so you want us to break up?”
“You're not wrong, Ste. I was betrothed to his friend Papa's son,” explained Dara.
“Dijodohin? You, can refuse if you really do not want to be fooled.”
“Hahaha, almost six years ago we dated and now we have to break up because of matchmaking like gini. I didn't expect ...,” Stevan said with a bland laugh.
It hurts, when he has loved someone too deeply, he should be able to let go of the person he loves happy with others. It hurts, when dating for years must run aground suddenly. Stevan's heart was torn apart, withstanding wounds that seemed to have no cure. Why, why would her relationship with Dara have to run aground? Are they not meant to be together? Does God only predestine the two of them to meet instead of unite?
“Sorry, Ste. I can't refuse Papa's wishes,” said Dara lowered her head while playing her finger. Tears could not be held back, Dara cried in silence.
“OK, may you be happy with the man who will be betrothed to you. I always pray that you can always be happy without having to feel hurt. Perhaps, after this we will become two strangers with similar memories. I will try to let you be happy with each other, but maybe I can't if asked to forget you. Oh yes, one thing you should know ...” Stevan paused his sentence. “ ... I was also made a fool of by Dad, I don't know which woman Dad is dating me, and I hope that woman is you. Although I know, maybe it's just halu.
“Maybe God is testing our love, ah yes already, I am leaving, take good care of yourself. You will always be in my heart, whenever you do. I don't care, even if you and I belong to someone else. My love will never die for you. Since you will be my first and last love, thank you for six years. In fact, we are not as stupid as what I expected I say, assalamualaikum,” continued Stevan then moved from his seat leaving Dara who lowered her head while shedding her tears.
Both feel pain. Both of them must give up their loved ones to fulfill the wishes of their parents.
Is it true that Dara and Stevan's relationship only got here? Are he and Stevan really not a match? Really, really, really, really?
Dara was crying in silence. His heart was torn, it felt really painful. This time she felt the pain of breaking up. Because Stevan is the second man he loves after his papa.
To be honest, he wasn't willing to let Stevan out of his grasp. Oh yeah, what was it, Stevan said he was betrothed? With who? Dara again shed tears, she could not accept the situation that in fact Stevan was happier with the woman he was betrothed to.
Not wanting to be the center of attention of many people, Dara wiped her tears using the back of her hands violently. He got up from his seat, stepped into the parking lot and drove his car.
Dara does her car at an above average speed. He no longer cared about his safety. What he wanted quickly to get home, in order to cry so much on his bed, when he just sat himself in the steering wheel of the car he was already crying.
Arriving at home, Dara immediately entered her house with her eyes moist. His steps stopped because someone's voice called out to him.
“From!” call Dira who is sitting on the sofa of the family room.
Dara turned her head and turned her body towards her brother with quick steps and came back crying.
Dira immediately pulled her sister into his arms while rubbing Dara's back trying to calm her down.
“Hai, why are you crying? Same story Brother, why you?”
“Kak, Dara breaks up with Stevan,” says Dara with sobbing.
“Cup-cup-cup, no cry already. I'm sure your choice this time is right, honey. Don't cry, huh?” dira tried to calm down.
“But, Brother. Stevan wants to be betrothed to his father.”
“Sut, don't cry anymore, Brother doesn't like to see your sad tears, dear. Already, yes, don't cry. Now you rest, you remember, ‘kan later tonight what is it?”
Dara nodded weakly then got up from her seat and stepped towards her room.
To be continued ....
