Marry Me, Mr. Lecturer

Marry Me, Mr. Lecturer
Let's split up

"Sir ...." Niki whined annoyed.

"Finish your meal, then go into the room" added Papa Niki firmly. Niki looked at her father in disbelief. Why since Farel's presence his parents changed.

She was no longer the only one in Mama and Papa's eyes. There was another person who was noticed by her parents, and unfortunately that person was her husband.

Niki still looked at her father, hoping that the first love of her life would look back at him and smile and say that Papa was joking. But Papa still put on his cold face without even wanting to look at him.

Niki then looked towards her Mama, the woman she had always been reliable to. His mother looked confused, but also could not do anything. His father is a man who is not very talkative and loving, but if he is serious no one dares to argue against him.

Then Niki turned her eyes to the man who was the cause of trouble in her house. Farel looked as if he was looking at her with a sorry look.

"Want more chicken?" ask Farel slowly.

"The one." Niki pushed her plate into the middle of the table and stood up from her seat.

"Sit Niki, wait for your husband to finish his meal" Papa said. Niki sat back down and glanced in annoyance at Farel.

"I spent ya, pity Mama's cooked but not spent." Farel pulled Niki's plate which was still half-filled.

Niki's chest again throbbed to see his lecturer eating from his plate with the spoon he had previously used.

"Get your husband a drink, Niki," Papa said. Niki obeyed her Papa's orders even with a frowning face.

"Thank you" said Farel with a big smile, though water spilled over his pants because his wife gave him a rather rough glass. Even so, his heart was very happy. Recently he felt eating a table with a woman he called his wife, taken to drink even though not his own initiative.

"Take your wife to the room, Farel. Don't fight, if there's a problem talk about it carefully." Mama opened her voice after a long silence watching the interaction of her daughter and daughter-in-law.

"Niki, take all your dirty dishes and Farel to the kitchen," Papa ordered as the two stood up and headed to the room.

"Let me, please" whispered Farel as his wife growled.

"Let Niki take the plate to the kitchen. She has to learn to serve a husband, not the other way around" Papa said.

Farel accompanied his wife's steps into the room. He did not expect his father-in-law to be able to behave like that to his only child.

"My bed is narrow, Mr. Farel just went home to the apartment," said Niki half evicted.

"If I go home, you will be rebuked again by Papa."

"Get up, just sleep on the floor," said Niki ketus then went up to the bed. Farel was indifferent, he then went up on a bed that was sized for only one person.

"Come here, come down!" niki shouts while pushing her husband's body. Farel who had expected to get such a reaction, was ready with his defensive position.

"Where else do you want, your room has no sofa. This bed of yours is enough for both of us." Single bed measuring 120cm is enough for both, as long as they are close together and do not move much.

Farel and Niki were both silent looking up at the ceiling of the room. The smallness of the bed makes both their arms stick together and rub against each other.

"Enak is also a bed like gini. The size is right for both of us" seduced Farel. Niki did not answer, he had run out of ways to drive Farel out of his room. She was afraid that her father would get angry with her. Niki twisted her body and turned her back to her husband.

"You why? Since morning has been angry, am I wrong?" asked Farel softly. Asked like that Niki was getting sadder and crying. Farel tried to turn Niki's body towards him, but his little wife continued to harden her body.

"If only angry and weeping like this without a story, where I understand, Niki." Farel succumbed he no longer tried to twist his wife's body, but his hands continued to rub his hair and back that trembled withholding cries.

"I'm sorry if something went wrong" said Farel softly. He no longer knows how to persuade Niki.

During his life, he faced a woman who sulked. The woman he first approached and married was never spooked with him. Marisa and herself are a married couple only on paper. Marisa's chin is always raised haughty when talking to him. Throughout her marriage just yesterday she saw and heard Marisa crying, even kneeling at her feet.

Remembering Marisa, Farel's mind wandered back to the woman who was still holding some of her heart. How, where, what and with whom Marisa is now. Since yesterday he has not turned on his phone.

There was a trace of Marisa's hope to call him back and beg him not to leave. So if the woman asks him to come back, will he fulfill her request? Yesterday emotions took hold of his heart as he said goodbye. After that anger gradually disappeared all that was left was worry.

Dissolved into her daydream, Farel does not realize Niki has turned to face her. The girl looked sadly at her husband's face which looked empty. From his gaze he guessed that the contents of Farel's head were not himself.

"Sir."

"Yes, Cha?" A second later Farel realized his name, "Why, Niki," Farel said in a stifled voice, hoping that Niki would not hear the name he had called before.

But too late, the girl heard it. The pain was even more painful even though he had guessed before.

"What do you want to say?" farel's asking is getting softer. There was a sense of worry seeing Niki's eyes getting dimmer.

"Let's get divorced" said Niki straightforwardas.

"What?"

"We'll just divorce, sir," said Niki trying to control her tone so as not to vibrate.

"What are you talking about? Marriage is not a toy, Niki. Ask for a wedding, ask for a divorce soon. Think grown-up, don't be a kid."

"I misjudged my feelings for you. I don't love, I'm just amazed" Niki said. Half of his face he buried in the bolster he hugged.

"Once we go to sleep. Tomorrow when the mind is fresh, let's talk again." Farel turned Niki's body against the wall, but Niki turned back to face him.

"I love others, Sir. I like Tomi, not Dad. I'm sorry." Niki dared to look directly at Farel's eyes.

The lecturer returned his eyes in disbelief. His eyes were full of hurt and disappointment. Farel searched for doubt in Niki's clear eyes, but he could not find it.

"Then let's split up, sir."
