Marry Me, Mr. Lecturer

Marry Me, Mr. Lecturer
Wounded

Niki continued to put on a sour face from last night, until the morning they got out of the hotel and returned home to their hometown.

"To your house first yes, last night Papa the same mother you asked her to come home first stop at home. They are very worried about your situation," said Farel with his bright face. Niki glanced lazily then threw her face back towards the window.

"What do you want to eat?" farel asked, Niki did not answer, he kept looking at the window with his hands folded in his chest.

"Eat chicken yuk roast." Farel took the initiative first because the clock was already showing the time for lunch. As soon as he approached the famous grilled chicken restaurant, Farel slowed down the pace of his vehicle and tried to find a place to park his car.

"Cock stop here?" niki protests after Farel shuts down car engine.

"We're going to have lunch and it's already noon, the distance to the house is still a long way away" explained Farel confused.

"Yes, but why eat here?"

"What do you want to eat?" Farel took a deep breath trying to be patient.

"Bakso" Niki said after thinking for a moment.

"Hmm, well you're right, the weather's cloudy like this is good for meatballs." Farel took his breath once more before replying.

"You know what good meatballs are around?" farel asked as he turned his wheel out of the restaurant parking area. Niki shrugged both of her shoulders indifferently. Farel glanced at a glance then let out a long sigh.

Along the way Farel drove his car very slowly. Sometimes his head turned to the right and left looking for a meatball shop that they should pass.

"Naah, I finally met you." Farel immediately pulled over his car, as soon as he found a roadside tavern selling meatballs.

The shrieking stomach asked to be filled plus the gloomy face of the woman sitting next to him, making Farel not care what kind of food will enter his stomach as long as he is full and his little wife cheerful again.

"Wear the lontong." Farel thrust a small-sized shredded selonjor towards Niki. The girl did not say anything, she simply pushed back the barrenness her husband gave her.

"You didn't have breakfast this morning, if you only ate meatballs, you weren't full." Farel insisted. He cut the lontong and put it in Niki's bowl.

As soon as a few pieces of lontong entered his bowl, Niki immediately stopped eating. She put down her cutlery and looked at her husband with a flat look.

"Why not spend it?"

"The one."

"Niki ka--"

"I'm full" said Niki quickly. She did not intentionally want to upset Farel or behave childishly, but her rejection overnight hurt her pride as a woman who expected fair treatment from her husband.

How not a man and a woman who with halal status, were in a room only two for the first time but did nothing. If Farel hadn't touched her in the first place, maybe Niki would have been more receptive. But last night Farel was far enough away to touch him, but suddenly stopped without explanation.

Farel breathed tired. He does not seem to have realized the mistake he made. In his view, Niki is a child who always acts up and looks for trouble. His appetite also disappeared, he pushed a bowl that was still filled to the middle of the table.

"What do you want?"

"home."

Along the way to Niki's house, the two did not say a word. Niki who still harbored a sense of disappointment and annoyance, while Farel tried to hold back his anger.

Once at Niki's house, the girl got out of the car and into the house without waiting for her husband first.

"Niki, thank goodness you're healthy. Where have you been, son?" Her mother immediately ran to pick her up and hug her as soon as Niki walked into the living room. His father stood upright with both hands behind his body.

"Niki just want to be alone, Ma," said Niki while returning his Mama's embrace. Guilt but disappointment in his mother for having been part of another man's usurper, still entrenched in his heart.

"Pa, Niki's sorry." Niki stood with her head bowed in front of her Papa.

Since Mama's story about her bitter past, Niki recently met her Papa. He could not see the face of the man he called Papa. Many conjectures and questions in his head, how is the situation of the woman left by his Papa?, is crying roaring the same as Marisa?

"Come in and clean your body first, we'll talk later" said his father without any intention of hugging him.

Niki went into the room with a broken heart. Receiving rejection from two men he adored at about the same time, made him feel unwanted.

"Good day, Om, Auntie sorry we're a little late." Farel stood in the living room doorway after Niki entered the room.

"Sit down, tell us what happened" Papa Niki said.

Farel tells how early he can find Niki, until they find his wife with another man. There is nothing he hides from Niki's parents, because for him this is the beginning of his seriousness in a relationship with their daughter.

"Jeez, Marisa." Mama Niki closed her mouth in disbelief.

"Are you sure of your decision? Did you really love my daughter? You are married only because it is based on love that claps one hand. I don't want you to take my son as your escape and a way to avenge that hurt on your ex-wife" Papa Niki said.

"I beg you, give me some time. We did not get married on the basis of loving each other, but I started to love Niki and did not want to part with her. Not for any other reason, let alone making Niki as an impingement," said Farel confident. He had proven last night that he managed to hold his ego and lust to touch Niki even further.

"Listen Farel, I see you as my son's husband not his lecturer. So if my daughter you hurt, wherever I will look even though you are teaching in the classroom though" threatened Papa Niki.

"Yes, Om I promise to take care and not hurt Niki" Farel said in a trembling voice. To be honest he still felt not too sure, because he did not know too well the character of his little wife.

"Where's your son, Ma hasn't come out of the room yet."

Mama Niki stood up from her seat and walked towards her daughter's room. When she was about to knock on the door of the room, Mama Niki lowered back her raised hand when she heard a sobbing from inside the room.

"Farel, please help me call Niki I want to prepare lunch," pinta Mama Niki.

"Ma, how do you tell him to go to Niki's room?" Papa Niki protested half whispered.

"Farel's husband Niki, no harm, right?"

"Excuse me, Om, my aunt's permission to Niki's room." Mama Niki gave the code with a nod of the head even though her husband still looked insincerely Farel approached her daughter's room.
