Farel jumped out of bed when a pillow fell hard on his face.
"What the hell are you doing?" Farel sat on the bed and saw Marisa shaking her waist with a roaring breath holding back emotions.
"Why did you leave me outside?"
"Huh?" Farel frowned trying to remember why he was blamed just because he entered the room first.
"You've changed!"
"What's wrong with me going into the room first? I told you earlier, I'm tired." Farel pressed his tone to keep it low. He tried not to get emotional.
"Yes, you're tired of meeting that seductress! You go now often and you don't care if I still want to talk at the dinner table, even now you want to sleep first?" Marisa's breathing grew increasingly irregular withstanding the explosive emotions.
During his marriage to Farel he was like a queen, but overnight the man who always bred whatever came out of his mouth, had ignored him only because of a young woman who was not comparable to him in any way.
"What else do you want to talk about? you don't have to wear it like this."
"Why did you marry that woman?"
Farel was silent, he was not ready to answer Marisa's question. If he answers the truth, it is certain that Marisa will ask him to divorce Niki as soon as possible. It's not even impossible that his little wife will be insulted all out by Marisa, and he doesn't want that until it happens. After all, Niki's parents trusted him very much and gave up their only child for him to take care of.
"You should know what the reason people get married is" Farel said calmly.
"You said you love me Farel! why are you still marrying another woman!" Marisa is hysterical.
"We talked about this, Echa! before you blame me, you should know where your own fault lies!" Farel was no longer able to hold back his emotions. He's really tired and sleepy tonight.
"You're yelling at me?" Marisa started crying. He had not expected that Farel who had never voiced higher than him was now snapping at him.
"I'm sorry. I'm really tired tonight, we'll talk about it again tomorrow." Farel held Marisa's body into his arms. If his wife usually does not want to be touched by him, this time Marisa returned his embrace warmly even though it felt bland for him.
"Don't leave me, Farel," said Marisa.
"Sleep, we're all tired." Farel led his wife to the bed. Marisa who used to be on her back, now hugged him tightly and tried to provoke his passion.
"I'm sleepy, Echa. Tomorrow's morning lecture." Farel lowered Marisa's hand that was already playing on her chest. He should be happy, because this is what they have been waiting for for one year of their marriage. But why does he feel this is wrong, but expecting back can feel the lips of his little wife.
Marisa regressed her body, her confidence instantly vanished. She who felt most loved and adored became worthless in the eyes of her husband.
The next morning, Farel was struck by the smell of toast coming from the kitchen. After previously he was surprised when he came out of the bathroom, his shirt and trousers were neatly hanging in front of the closet.
"You cook?" ask Farel not to believe.
"Baked bread. You know I can't cook, but I'll learn to cook later. Eemm, do you like the shirt I picked?"
"Su-like." Farel still can't believe Marisa's in the kitchen. Even though he had never seen his wife in front of the stove. Every breakfast he always prepares while Marisa is still asleep, sometimes until she leaves is still not getting out of bed.
"Later in the afternoon, we'll eat together." Marisa throws her sweet smile. He just nodded quickly, not knowing how to respond with all the changes that occurred this morning.
"The phone hasn't been activated again?" farel Protest. He tried to contact her but there was no response from Niki, and he found her little wife sitting in the park with her friend.
"Huh?" Niki took the phone from her bag and saw so many messages and calls coming from a contact named my husband, "Forgot her voice, there was a quiz. Sorry." Niki shames the shame.
"Em, I went to the cafeteria first." Fera chose to stay away from a husband and wife who were looking friendly.
"There's still class?" ask Farel.
"Still, two o'clock." Niki blushed. After last night, he felt something had changed from Farel. His gaze was warmer and his smile was always on its back every time he spoke.
"Eat yuk?"
"Mother take me to lunch?" Niki was happy.
"Yes, why? want ga?"
"You!" Niki swiftly stood up and grabbed her bag.
Niki and Farel's carefree steps slowed down when they saw Marisa standing at Farel's side of the car while staring intently at them.
"Father awaited Mba Marisa," said Niki. He took a step back behind Farel. Marisa walked up to the two with a cynical look.
"What are you doing here, Echa?"
"Last morning you promised me lunch, you forgot my husband?" marisa said by emphasizing the word husband signifies ownership.
"I'm sorry I forgot." Farel glanced back. He was very confused and afraid that Marisa would make trouble in the campus area. He only feels sorry for his little wife, because all the students on campus know that his wife is just Niki.
"I ate in the cafeteria, sir. Forgetting there's still a job." Niki bowed a little and ran into the campus. He stopped and hid behind a pillar watching Farel and his first wife arguing in the parking area.
"So rightly my guess is, he's a student at this college. It's not in vain I waited two hours here."
"Come on, what do you want to eat." Farel leads Marisa into his car.
"What's my cage of Farel's?" spray Marisa after the two get in the car.
"Don't argue now, Echa. I'm hungry, my break time isn't long any minute I have to go back to college." Farel turned his wheel and steered out of the campus.
"Stop teaching again, after all you are here only a substitute lecturer. You got a much better job than this."
"What do you mean by work? hold my Papa company? You think I still have a face in front of my family after they found you on vacation with Galih?"
"Don't switch the conversation. We're talking about you, not Galih." Marisa threw her eyes out the window. He wasn't ready to be told about the man.
"Because it all comes from him and you! not me!" Farel hit his wheel hard.
