After performing the prayer magrib congregate in the orphanage with children and caretakers. Ustaz Hafid tidied up his things, prepared to go home.
"Uncle, come back later, yeah." A four-year-old boy in his trunk said excitedly.
Ustaz Hafid nodded, then kissed the two cheeks of the little boy. "Yes, later uncle invited aunt here too," he said. He treated the little boy like he was his own son.
"Well," cried the little boy, sounding very happy.
Ustaz Hafid smiled, he immediately lowered the little boy's petite body. It was great to see the joy on the little boy's face.
"Uncle go home first. You don't mess away from the beach, yes," she said, gently rubbing her hair.
"Yes, Uncle," he said, grabbed the back of Ustaz Hafid's hand and kissed him.
"Be careful, Ustaz Hafid," said one of the caretakers.
"Yes, ma'am" replied Ustaz Hafid turning his head for a moment with a smile rising on his lips.
Ustaz Hafid walked towards the parking lot. He looked up at the sky there, and saw the weather that night was quite cloudy. Although the weather was not supportive tonight, it did not diminish his intention to go home. He missed Cika himself.
Ustaz Hafid got into his car immediately, then turned it on. The black sedan car was traveling at a speed splitting the highway that night. Ustaz Hafid did not want to waste his time. While driving, he chose his rote murojoah.
Drett!
One message notification came in and it was from Cika. Ustaz Hafid immediately took the phone on top of the car dashboard with one hand.
[Ustaz, why haven't you arrived yet? I wait in front of the gate. My legs started to ache because I was waiting.]
Ustaz Hafid smiled reading the short message, there was just the behavior of his little wife.
[Yes, honey. Soon, it's on its way.] Ustaz Hafid sent the reply, not forgetting that the message ended with an emoticon love.
Bewoo!
Ustaz Hafid's phone slipped out of his grasp. Make him become unfocused driving, because he had to find the phone that fell.
Tiii!
Bruyuk!
The sound of a hit—so loud was heard from the two cars.
...***...
While elsewhere, Cika smiled broadly at the reply to a message from Ustaz Hafid, but the smile disappeared instantly when a few minutes later an unknown person called her.
[What? The accident?] tanyanya did not believe in the information of someone who called her that.
His body immediately shook violently at the bad news. The tears just fell without being asked.
[Yes, Mother. Now ...]
Cika shook her head quickly still in disbelief.
[No, no way! You may be wrong! Obviously my husband just returned my message! Let's say that you lied to me?!] Cika spoke loudly, her voice sounded trembling. Tears flowed so hard on her cheeks.
[I'm not lying, Ma'am. Now me and some of the police are on their way to take my husband, Ma'am, to the hospital.]
The phone in his hand fell on the ground. He couldn't get her to continue the phone. Really not able.
"No way," he said. He sat weakly in front of the gate. The rain started to fall on the ground. "Ustaz Hafid ...." Her tears shed along with the raindrops.
