Married to Ustaz
Chapter 13: Almost Only

Cika sat in front of the mirror while wearing her khirmar. After the incident last night Ustaz Hafid like a bitch against him. Just at dawn, her husband did not say a word to her. "Ustaz Hafid," he called out in a soft and cute contrived voice.

"Hem." Just a short deheman from Ustaz Hafid.

"Anged with me?"

"No."

"Oh." He walked towards Ustaz Hafid, taking the prayer beads that were always in the man's hands.

"Make me yes, Tadz. I like it, and it's good" he asked.

Ustaz Hafid nodded softly, saying, "Take it if you want it."

"Well, thank you, Tadz." Cika was happily jumping around holding the prayer beads.

Ustadz Hafid smiled amusedly looking at Cika like a child.

"If we both call us. We've become husband and wife." Ustaz Hafid gently rubbed the head of Cika who had been coated with the hijab.

"A-I'm not used to it, Ustaz. I'll try."

"All right."

"Hem, I'm going to the dorm first. Wanna wash my clothes."

"No breakfast first? Ustaz help, right?"

Cika shook her head quickly at the sign of 'no'. "No need to."

"Later tonight can we just go out for a second, Tadz?" ask Cika before actually getting out of the room.

"Where are you going?" Ustaz Hafid asked back.

"Not going anywhere, I want to eat meatballs, have not eaten for a long time."

"Can, wait for ustaz in the parking lot."

"Yeah, thank you. My husband's nice, sometimes mean." He ran as fast as lightning from before Ustaz Hafid when he saw the anger of the man after his last words.

...***...

"Cika," call Novi and Dinda together, they just arrived at the boarding house this morning.

"Eh, you guys are back? Not later after the prayer dzuhur well, you guys behind it?" cika asked quite surprised to see the appearance of his two friends, he immediately walked towards them.

"Cika intentionally, you don't have any friends here. We are just afraid that you are alone hehehe ..," Novi replied ending with a light laugh.

Cika mangut-mangut understood.

While Netra Dinda focus on the prayer beads in Cika's hands. Dinda felt familiar with the prayer beads.

"That tasbih sika doesn't belong to Ustaz Hafid?" dinda asked full of probing while pointing at him.

Cika was nervous, in a hurry he put the prayer beads into his pocket.

"Where it is, it's mine" Cika replied lying.

"But it's very similar to Ustaz Hafid's, Cika!" reply Novi.

"Emang should Ustaz Hafid have this tasbih? No, right?" ask Cika, still not to lose.

"Yes, too," said Dinda, but did not fully believe.

"For a while, you're new to ndalem, huh? What do you need from ndalem? How did you get in?" Novi asked repeatedly. Only special santri can usually enter the ndalem. It's only natural that Novi is very curious.

Cika was already really nervous, she had to have a logical reason to answer him. Because he knew his two best friends were not the type to just believe.

"Cika, we are asking dong replied," asked Dinda to join the kepo when she saw Cika was still silently sculpting.

"Anu, anu I ...."

"I called him" said Ustazah Laili from behind.

Cika who heard the remark immediately breathed a sigh of relief, she was finally able to avoid the question.

"Laili's State," said Dinda. Dinda and Novi kiss the back of Ustadzah Laili's hand.

"Yes right, I studied with Ustazah Laili. You know I'm still a layman of religious science." Cika tried to explain in detail with a series of words written in her head. Indeed, the large family of Ustaz Hafid for a while chose to hide this marriage first, they did that because of Cika's own request.

"Huft, almost," muttered Cika in thanksgiving.
