Chapter 38: Nathan's Past and the Truth

The two gangsters came out, now only the two of them live. "Vendrik Leonard Edwin, the arrogant and narcissistic man!" nathan is back. 

"We only met once at Ambar's house, but you can recognize my voice for sure!"

"Let me tell you something interesting!" said Nathan again approached Vendrik, then opened the covering cloth attached to his eyes, he again sat facing Vendrik.

"You remember, my mother! He was your father's lover, and you were present when your father was with my mother!" nathan said with red eyes when he told it. 

"Fffhh .., what do I care, demon!" pekik Vendrik's. 

"Gue doesn't care!" vendrik's words ignited Nathan's emotions. 

For the second time Nathan beat Vendrik, to bleed on the tip of his lips. Nathan reveals himself again, that he is the daughter of a banished woman, when Vendrik's father learns his mistress is pregnant. 

Flashbacks.

At that time Vendrik's father named Naufal Edwin married business together, Rania Khusuma mother of Vendik. Their marriage did not go smoothly because of the bond of business contracts. One day when Naufal goes to Europe for a business trip, he meets a woman named Chandra Anandra. They make good friends in Europe, Naufal often met with Chandra in the apartment where Chandra lived. 

When Naufal returns home to see his wife, he again finds a desire to love Rania. So did Rania who put her heart on her husband. The business relationship they had ended well. 

"Naufal I love you!" she hugged her husband.

"I love you too, Rania" answered Naufal with a beaming face. 

Their love story is full of intrigue, but due to their strong bond they are able to get through it. Until Chandra comes into their relationship. Rania does not know she is pregnant, until a rift occurs to them when she finds a photo of Naufal with a woman in Europe. 

"I want a divorce!" rania snaps at Naufal. 

"What do you mean Rania, I love you why should we get divorced?" naufal was confused. 

"If there's a second time, I'd like to apologize to him!" naufal said, drunk. Chandra, who accidentally saw Naufal, approached him. 

Until there was an incident where Naufal who was drunk thought Chandara was his wife, then did something intimate to Chandra. After the incident Naufal only apologized and kept their relationship a secret, then chased his wife back. 

Chandra who realized she was just an impingement was very disappointed. He knew very well that the forbidden love between him and Naufal had already destroyed him. Rania returns to Naufal's arms because of the pregnancy that happened to her, of course Naufal leaves Chandra. 

Eight months later, Rania underwent surgery because Vendrik, who was not born on the date of birth, required her to be treated for five months postpartum. Words suitable for Naufal. "Once unfaithful, then forever unfaithful!"

Naufal returns to meet Chandra, as Rania struggles between life and death, due to bleeding. Until Chandra finds out he is two-bodied, he holds Naufal accountable, but he refuses to give certainty. Eventually Naufal's love turns to hatred, until he tries to kill Rania at the hospital where Rania is being treated. 

Naufal who knew that was of course wrathful. He also tortured Chandra, making Chandra live dead was not reluctant at the hands of hungry clients. The incident caused Chandra to miscarry, in the midst of his escape he met Arslan William.

Arslan is a local man who falls in love with Chandra, at first sight. Due to their sincere concern undergoes the marriage bond, and Arslan manages to become the village chief in the area. Due to past traumas she often goes to a psychologist, with Arslan by her side Chandra giving birth to Nathan.  

Once when Nathan was growing up he found his mother almost suicidal, because the trauma never subsided to him, until Nathan found out the mastermind who made his mother like this was Naufal father of Vendrik. He wants revenge on him, but Arslan always reminds Nathan. 

"That past grudges will never assuage an already wounded heart, so let go of that grudge by giving your mother sincere love!" Arslan's advice to his son. 

Nathan accepts his father's advice, as he is now entering puberty with a strong girl like Aruhi, due to his delay in expressing his feelings he has lost Aruhi, until he knows that Aruhi is pregnant out of wedlock can still love him. Until the feeling expands for sure, when the bitter reality hits his heart like a rock. The man who impregnated Arhui was the son of a depraved man who destroyed his mother.

Hearing Nathan's story, Vendrik fell silent. He didn't expect a father who loved his family to have a dark time with a woman like Chandra.
