Chapter 14: The Past of Vendric Part 1

The next morning as usual I opened a flower shop, Ayaan left with her grandmother. For a moment I looked at myself in the mirror, then went to the coffee machine, after making coffee I sat back by the window table. 

  Black eyes that coiled must be in the eyes, making me look clearly unable to sleep, when the daydream almost mastered, a luxury Benz-shaped car parked in the shop beside the sidewalk, making me realize, I, the car was so familiar to me that it reminded me of the man I met about five years ago.

Yeah .., my memory is not wrong, when I saw the man who got out of the car again, accompanied by some assistants. It turned out that the narcissistic man who passed me back then was the same person. But why is it so different from five years ago? 

The question often bothered me, the man entered the store, my feet quickly stepped up to meet him. 

"Aruhi ..., are you waiting for me?" asked the man with a sweet smile. 

With a single snap of a finger, the assistants rushed to follow the directions of his boss, the three of them carrying a lot of gifts until my shop became the spotlight of passersby. Seeing that made me shocked because he behaved like a comic man who looked rich and handsome. 

His hands waving at me were dumbfounded to see his innards so much. "Hey ..., hey are we just gonna stand?" said it. 

"Ah .., oh i. .., yes."

With a plongo face I was amazed to hear his words, because too astonished mixed with shock. He who used to dress in T-shirts and shorts is now dressed neatly like a different person, he who always comes to praise himself now displays an aura of seriousness. 

I immediately directed Vendrik to sit at the table I was at, I immediately made him coffee. He started to open his voice. 

"Do you have the answer?" vendrik asked me curiously.

For a moment I was silent, then looked back at him and opened my voice. "Why do you want to marry me? Aren't you disgusted with me?" 

"Why should I be disgusted? Is it because of your past?" he said to answer my question.

I was stunned to hear a reply from him, he seemed to know with my past, the foreign man who had been bothering me for several months already knew many things about me. I stood up from sitting in an angry tone at him. 

"So you're investigating me!" my snapping. 

"I've never investigated you, I know from your mother," he said gently staring at me. 

I was again surprised to hear his statement, why did my mother tell him that? Makes my mind more confused.

"I made mistakes just like you!" with my eyes.

"What mistake do you mean?"

Flashbacks 

Five years ago, when Vendrik returned to Indonesia, he met his old sohib who now works as the boss of the cafe owner, like most of the sultan Vendrik always accompanied by three of his favorite assistants.

When entering the cafe he accidentally met with Aruhi, his heart seemed to beat fast when staring at the woman, but because of the call from the man's soul he did not have time to ask her name or phone number. 

"Ckc, you fat fuck!" decak Vendrik is upset with his best friend Farhan. 

"What, Lu insulted me" annoyed Farhan got up from his seat. 

The two of them also clashed, Vendrik again praised himself to make his friends upset. 

"Lu–kan is fat, so multiply sports like me, let your body more sexy like me" he said with a smile of satisfaction. 

"Basic jerk, narcissist you never disappear just getting worse!" farhan said, grinding his teeth.

"Gosh, you two are starting again!" annoyed Dion broke them, Farhan could not stand because of Vendrik's uncorrected rude attitude.

"Surely, you're broken up with Rohana!" farhan said, he started the fire again. 

"Farhan, you're so outrageous!" dion and Andi to him. 

"Loh, what are you doing defending him? He was the first one who said I was fat, I just don't know what my fault is, even came crashing!" anguished Farhan. 

"Gue–kan kidding," said Vendrik. 

"Part of what I'm talking about actually, you have to do a lot of sports so that your body is healthier!" cynical Vendrik looked at Farhan. 

Looks like Vendrik's words managed to keep Farhan quiet. Looked red face extinguished Farhan because of Vendrik's speech with cynical eyes.
