Chapter 28: The Accident

 Vendrik carried his car in the rain. With the feeling of anxiety in the chest of course makes him not think rationally. "Aruhi, where are you!" muttered Vendrik stared at the phone he put in front of the driver. Many times his eyes glanced at the phone, hoping that Aruhi would pick up the phone from him immediately. 

Until a major accident occurs, a truck traveling at high speed directly hit Vendrik's car from the opposite direction. 

Meanwhile I who was unable to sleep felt a bad feeling about Vendrik, making my body tremble in fear. 

"Come! You better go to the hospital!" nathan panicked. 

"W-what, what happened Nat?!" I said surprised. 

"Your husband's in an accident!" 

Again made my body helpless. Hearing that, I immediately took off the infusion attached to the hand. Nathan apologized many times for the bad news. 

"Aruhi, you shouldn't panic, you'll get divorced anyway!" nathan's murmured still heard. 

"What do you mean, Nat? I'm not getting a divorce!" my screams ran barefoot towards the four wheels. 

"Damn! I should've just let that guy die!" cetus Nathan throws a vase of flowers on the nightstand. 

At the downtown hospital, I cried all the way, hoping Vendrik was okay. 

"Suster, which truck accident victim is in the room?" ask me to worry. 

The nurse who was questioned actually led to the mortuary, suddenly making me cry hysterically. "Vendrik! You can't leave me!" yells me so. 

"I'm here."

A familiar voice made my crying stop. "I'm sorry for not believing in you, but whatever it is, I don't care anymore, whether it's your son or not you obviously have to live!" kataku. 

"I'm serious, I'm alive!" voice is back. 

"But why are you lying here?"

"Who said I was lying there, didn't you realize I was standing at the door!" vendrik approached me. 

"Ven …!" I hugged him tightly. 

"Aw, my arm hurts Ruhi!" she screamed. 

"I told him myself!" contently. 

"Aren't you still nosy and narcissistic, how could you survive with such a trait?" with the face bent. 

"Because God still loves me" Vendrik kissed me. The second kiss that I felt was not like in romance movies, I felt it was close to the bodies in front, behind, and beside me. 

We both came out after kissing. "What did you say in the morgue is true?" with my face expecting my answer. 

"Yes, I don't care anymore, as long as you're by my side without having to marry that woman, I'm ready to be the mother of your son Ven" I stare at her. 

"Thank you Aruhi, but I'm sure the woman I was with five years ago wasn't her" he muttered back at me. 

"Ven, how did you survive, and the truck driver died?" I was curious, because his body only got a light fracture. 

Flashbacks… 

Vendrik realized a truck was speeding towards him, he swiftly removed the seatbelt with the position of the car speeding. Vendrik is seen trying hard to get out of the car, before the truck hits him. Yep with the power of God Vendrik managed to survive by risking his life luck by jumping from the door of a speeding car. 

Flashback complete… 

"I'm so grateful you survived, I'm so scared!" I said back to hug him. 

"I'm also grateful to see you again, Aruhi, where were you yesterday? I went to my mom's house, but you weren't there!" he's worried. 

"Sorry Ven, I left without saying anything to you or Ayaan," I said softly dropping my gaze down. 

"I'm sorry too, with my past mistakes, you've been hurt, but I promise you, soon I'll clean up all this mess!" he reassured me. 

"Bring me too, Ven, whatever your problem please involve me as well. I don't want you alone!" kataku. With a smile knot Vendrik kissed my forehead, making my cheeks blush red. 

At Nathan's residence, the man was visibly upset, the glass in the room shattered by the blow he was dealt. 

"Bego, I shouldn't have told Aruhi, just let that arrogant man die!" nathan snapped, with bruised hands from the blow. 

The silent voice of the phone made Nathan change his expression. "Where? You produced their misahin?" nathan asked intensely.
