"Have you investigated the accident?"

"I told Damian to do it."

"You found something?"

Nova looked at Oma in wonder. "Oma know something?"

"Lala told me it wasn't an accident. Someone intentionally harmed him."

Nova was not surprised to hear that. Then Oma told Nova of her conversation with Lala at lunch.

Pensive nova. "That means his life is in danger?"

"What would you do to her if the snake woman was found guilty?"

"I don't know Oma. But he's got to get his payback."

Nova waits for Lala who is still asleep. He saw his wife's face without blinking. It wasn't in vain to wait for Lala. Several times rejected even willing to wait a long time, finally now everything paid off. Living happily and loving each other and soon having children, Nova never imagined her life would be as happy as it is today. The gloom of his past seems to have begun to disappear. Lala squirmed then opened her eyes slowly. Finding Nova staring at him, he smiled.

"Why see me like that? I must be ugly right now."

Nova stumped a smile. "You are still the most beautiful." Lala laughed when she heard it. He knew Nova's words just to comfort him.

"I know you're lying, but I'm still happy to hear it."

Nova's turn laughed. " You are hard to seduce."

Lala grabbed Nova's hand. "Thank you ... Thank you for waiting for me and for accepting me even if you know I'm just making you my escape."

"Thank you for being here in my life" Nova replied as she kissed Lala on the forehead.

"Because now I'm ugly and can't walk, do you still want to love me?"

"Forever." Then they both smiled at the same time.

"Why didn't you tell me that woman hurt you?"

Lala shut up for a moment. "Oma tell you?"

"You didn't answer my question."

"We ... He wants to get rid of us." Lala corrected Nova's sentence. "I'm afraid it's gonna hurt you even more. You've kept the wound because of him, I don't want to add to it."

"But it's already jeopardizing your life. I can't take that. What if something worse than this happens?" Nova pointed at Lala's feet.

"But I'm fine now."

"I don't want to take any chances now. Moreover, there is our child candidate in your stomach. We need to be careful and more vigilant." Lala nodded.

"That day, when you were going out of the house, who saw you? Has anyone followed you in the first place?"

Lala tried to remember the incident. "When I was in the garage there was a waiter who asked me. Looks like she's a new waitress because I've never seen her. After that at the front gate there was a security guard who opened the gate. No one else knows if I'm out of the house. The man came after long enough I went around in circles. I'm almost home."

It can't be Mr. Satpam. He's been working in this house for a long time. Could be the new waiter.

"I've found a spy in this house, sir. The new waiter was Viviane's man. I have interrogated him. As Miss said, only she knew Miss left the house that day. Then he reported it to Viviane who then told people to harm Miss."

"Where is that waitress now?"

"I've secured him Sir. We just have to wait for the driver of the motorbike who hurt Miss to be caught. He's been running out of town but I've told people to look for him."

"Good, continue your investigation. Once all the evidence is gathered we will take action. Don't let Viviane smell this. I don't want him to also escape out of town after knowing it."

Damian nodded then left in front of Nova.

Nova was riding his motorcycle following the police car in front of him. They are currently on their way to Viviane's house. All the evidence has been gathered, the man who harmed Lala has also been arrested. An arrest warrant has also been issued, just to arrest Viviane.

The police immediately knocked on Viviane's door as soon as she got there. It's still morning, there's no way Viviane can go let alone work. Since having Kevin he's never worked. He only relies on alimony money from Oma for his life and also has fun. Every night he goes to the nightclub to get drunk and comes home early in the morning. If the money runs out he will ask Oma again on the grounds that Kevin requires fees for school and other purposes even though Viviane spends everything for herself.

On the third knock, the door opened. Viviane who was behind the door with a sleepy face looked startled.

" What's going on?"

The police showed an arrest warrant in his hands and immediately arrested Viviane.

"What's my fault? What the fuck?." Viviane.

"You can explain later at the police station."

" Let go of me, I'm innocent." Viviane tried to rebel. But it's useless because two cops are already holding it. Viviane's mother who heard the commotion immediately came out to see what happened.

"Mother .. help me, I'm innocent. Tell them I don't know anything. I don't want to be in jail." Viviane said she didn't realize Nova was there. While his mother was just looking at him confused not knowing what to do.

Viviane's mother looked towards Nova who had just been silent to see this scene. He immediately ran towards Nova and begged her.

"Please let her go .. I beg you. He's not guilty. I beg you to let him go."

Nova was silent.

"Nova .. please let me go. You know I love you like my own sister. Please let me go. I'm not guilty. I don't know anything." Viviane pleads with Nova after realizing her presence. But Nova stays.

"Nova .. please, let me go. I don't want to go to jail." Viviane started crying.

"I never intended to avenge your betrayal of my mother. I've let you in long enough. You don't realize we've been kind to you, you're too greedy. What we give you is never enough. I won't let you harm my family for your greed. You have to suffer the consequences now. I'm sorry I didn't put you in jail long ago." Nova's tone was flat and calm.

"What about Kevin if I go to jail? It's gonna hurt him. I know you're close to him, you certainly wouldn't have the heart if he suffered because his mother was in prison."

"We're going to demand custody of Kevin from you. You proved to be a criminal, you didn't take good care of it all along. The court will definitely grant our demands. And if Kevin's with us, you'll have nothing left. You're nobody to us anymore."

"Nova .. Don't do this to me. I beg of you. Let go of me ..."

" I will not silence your deeds as before. Take him where he's supposed to be sir!"
