Early Meetings.

BAYU POV

My name is Bayu Adyaksa Putra, I am a 2nd grade High School boy. I was born to Danu Adyaksa and Mustika Maharani. Being an only child made my life feel lonely, my parents were busy until I was neglected. My father was a soldier, often served out of town and not even often moved places of duty. I live with my mother, my own work as a lecturer at a private campus in Bandung. I am used to doing anything myself makes me an independent figure. I never complain or whine if I want something.

Crying out? Never in my dictionary, in my life I galvanize myself not to be a whiny child. Until the events of five years ago destroyed the solid fortress within me. At that moment I found my round drooping helplessly on the floor with blood seeping profusely from his nose. That was the first time I shed tears, struck by the state of my round.

Without a word or a cry for help, I drove my bundle towards the taxi I had ordered first in a hurry. I just stayed in the taxi, only occasionally telling the taxi driver to speed up to get to the hospital quickly.

Arriving at the hospital, the mother was immediately taken to the ER room to get treatment. When I was in 1st grade Junior High, I did not understand how to. Finally I decided to contact my father who was on duty in Surabaya by borrowing a hospital phone because my pulse is currently running out.

I called my father's number repeatedly but it wasn't connected, so I was desperate and stopped calling him. I walked over to the front of the ER back, and waited for the doctor to finish the examination on my round.

"Where's dad? I should have accompanied Bayu here. Bayu's getting scared, mama... Dying." I muttered with a straight look towards the ER. I myself do not understand how to say that, but my gut feeling says so.

Not long ago, there was panic and chaos in the ER room. I saw some sisters popping out of the room, then came back while pushing a device. I don't know what tools I don't understand, I just fixated on seeing the tense atmosphere that was happening in front of me.

The ER light went out, the doctor looked out from there sighing. I stepped closer to the doctor, unexpectedly the doctor suddenly hugged me and strengthened me to accept what happened.

"Patience, son, strengthen your heart. Your mother's happy there, sorry we couldn't help her and keep her life." The doctor said and patted me on the shoulder after releasing his embrace.

Duars!!

Like being struck by lightning in broad daylight, I was surprised not to play. My mother left me, is this real? I wonder in my heart.

"The tumor in his brain is already in the final stage and has even spread almost entirely. Has your mother never told you that she has the disease?" Ask the doctor. I just shook my head in response. I saw the doctor sigh back before slapping my shoulder.

"Tabah and please, your mother is no longer in pain. Your mother is happy." He said and left me with a million questions.

The funeral process of my mother went well, my father contacted and said if he would fly the day after to bandung because it was too sudden and he just finished his service there. I don't comment much, just say what my father said.

Five years have passed.....

So far I live at home with my father, our relationship is not too close because from the beginning we were not close. I was only close to my mother, although we rarely communicate, but I used to live and live with my mother.

That night my father took me out to eat, I followed him without protest. My dad and I enjoyed our subscription catfish pecel at a roadside diner near the house. In between meals my father asked me to speak and I responded briefly. Until the father arrived at the helm of discussion, he said if it will be served in the Mojokerto area. Dad meant to take me there because he didn't want to leave me here alone even though I was a big boy.

"Dad wants you to come with Bay's father, I don't want to leave you alone here. Your school business can continue there until graduation." Persuade father.

"That means we're moving there?" Manyaku flat.

"Well, you're right. This time I decided to stay there. How's it?"

"All right."

"Dad will take care of it soon, the day after we leave. You don't mind?" My father asked hesitantly considering that quite suddenly.

"No." My brief.

Seeing me not bothering about it, Dad looked pretty relieved. Then took the phone to contact her man to take care of my school move. After finishing, we continued eating and immediately went home to start preparing and packing.

My father and I arrived at Djuanda airport at noon, then we got out of the airport to the car that my father had rented to come to pick up. The difference in weather is obvious when the sun stings the streets. If the atmosphere is still cool while here the atmosphere is enough to burn the body. Pineapple!! 🥵

About an hour drive we just arrived at a residential area Canggu, apparently my father bought a house here. The house my father bought was quite large compared to the vicinity, because I bought a two-story house. I stepped my foot into the house, the decoration was quite comfortable besides the place was clean.

Because it was too fun to look around, I did not realize that in the house there was a middle-aged art cutting cooking ingredients. I approached him immediately to just get acquainted and ask questions about the environment here.

"Bik burrow," I said kindly.

"Den jiang, would you like to make something den?" ask the aunt no less friendly to me.

"No bik, I was just walking around. Introduce my name...

"Den Bayu right?" guess the aunt who knew me.

"Yes bik, if aunty?" I nodded and smiled.

"Call bik Ijah only den.

"Ah yes bik Ijah, hopefully at home working here ya bik."

"Definitely den, insyaallah."

I smiled, then went back around until my eyes were accidentally pointed at an ontel bike next to the fence. I'm curious about this area, have an idea to go around using that bike.

I eagerly paddle the bike ontel follow the road, I feel the sun burn the skin but I ignore it. Honey, the sky doesn't support my pleasure to enjoy my time this afternoon. Suddenly my bicycle tire leaked, I was forced to lead looking for tire patches.

Not far from where I was guiding my bike I saw a tire patcher, I immediately dribbled my bike. While waiting for the patchworker to do his job, I intend to help fill the tire wind if there are customers who ask. Until a Junior High girl stood in front of me with cute pursed lips. It was so adorable that I was glued to it, to be honest I was fascinated. I was misbehaving when I heard his voice,

'Oh my god, I'm in love. Love at first sight.' I murmured in my heart.

Being too nervous, I was so stiff as to respond to her request. I hope he doesn't shine on me, but I'm really ASHAMed !.

"Fill the wind in front of the back ya bang, fill fenuh." pinta girl Junior High. I didn't answer just nodding my head, the voice in my throat seemed choked even my tongue was moody.

"How much?"

Again I can not speak, I direct 1 finger only a sign if only a thousand rupiah. I saw him reach into his uniform pocket and give me a thousand and five hundred.

"What a pity anyway, handsome-looking Kok MISU !" he said while giving me money. "I'd rather buy ice, yeah bang, ice candles" he continued chuckling. Hearing him say that, I was not angry at all. It is in my heart that I laugh seeing this ridiculous attitude of mine.

"Abang no mute really," I said bumbling while shy.

"Well, kirain could only say that." the girl glared at me, while I could only scratch behind my head. Without talking again the girl paddled her bike away.

As soon as I saw him pedaling his bike away, my smile rose. My heart is so flowery, my God, I'm in love. I looked at the money in my hands full of twinkle. In my pants pocket I get two thousand dollars to exchange for the girl's money. I'll keep the girl's money as a sign of early love for me.

'May we meet again, first love'
