Meet Sam (Part 2)

In the morning, maybe today is a boring day for Ryu. How not, he had to visit Noval and wait for her in the hospital. Either way, he was punished like this because of Riyu's mistake. Think of her kindness today as a sign of Ryu's apology to Noval, right? Hopefully he won't be a big head later.

"May, come on, stop me" said Riyu in a slightly whining tone, holding Maya's arm.

"Gak ah. I could be a mosquito repellent in there!" maya protests.

"So you really don't come?" pissed glances.

Actually I want to, I also want to see the state of Noval.

"May, I'm dumb."

"Yes, I'm coming"

"Well that's dong" a wide smile was immediately seen on Riyu's face.

Before leaving, Maya returns to her room briefly to pick up her bag. Ryu walks first to his car, he will wait for Maya there. As Maya was about to descend the stairs, she saw the butler who had just walked out of Darma's room.

Maya goes back up, approaching the butler who happens to be walking towards her. "Sir Amir, what are you doing in Grandpa's room?" Maya squinted her brows suspiciously.

"Ehm, Miss. I'm just checking Mr.'s room, making sure the AC in the room is turned off or not. Excuse me Miss." Amir bowed his body and hurried away.

Maya is still glued to her place standing watching the back of the 60-year-old man, she thought, the giragat pak Amir is different lately.

"May why so long" Ryu heard shouting from below. Maya chuckled, then rushed downstairs.

"I came" he said as he ran.

The car had entered the city center, traveling at medium speed towards the central hospital.

"Riyu, do you know the butler in Grandpa's house?" ask Maya who is still curious.

"Sir Amir you mean? What's wrong with her?"

"There's nothing, it's just that I've been kind of weird with him lately"

"What a weird thing about May? I didn't observe too much, but I think Mr. Amir's work is good"

"Yes, he's also been with Grandpa for decades." Maya turned her eyes out of the car window. "Maybe it's just my feelings".

The car that took them finally arrived at the hospital. Maya and Riyu walk in, then walk through the hospital corridor to the room where Noval is being treated. However

when they almost reached Noval's room, they stopped for a moment to look at the figure standing in front of the hospital room.

"Sam?" murmured Riyu.

"Otherwise you wait, hurry up, run and hug your prince" Maya whispered in Riyu's ear.

"What the hell are you May!" maya's arm on the pat. Despite the embarrassment, still, Riyu immediately ran towards Sam and hugged him.

"Sam, are you here?" riyu whispered, afraid that Noval heard her voice. "Eh wait a minute. Have you guys gotten along? Looks like you've been so attentive to Noval, you're going to see her." Riyu looked at Sam, his hands still tightly coiled around Sam's waist.

"That's sickening. I'm here because I want to see you, you idiot" Sam smiled faintly.

"Hey!, stop calling me stupid" protested. Riyu again buried her face in Sam's chest.

"Ehem. All right, you guys enjoy the time. As usual, I'll be pouring attention, buying time, so you can talk together" Maya pats Riyu and Sam's shoulders together. Riyu closed her lips holding back a laugh, while Sam grimaced.

"Alright, I'll go inside first" Maya whispered.

"Be careful Miss, the fox inside is so annoying" Sam whispered to Maya. Sam's words make her laugh amusedly, after which Maya leaves Sam and Riyu.

Maya hesitates to approach Noval, who is sitting leaning against the hospital bed, taking a deep breath to ease her nervousness.

"Hi" said Maya, putting a friendly smile on her face.

Noval heard a loud snort, turning her gaze the other way as Maya sat on the chair.

"Why are you here? Where's Riyu?" Tanya Noval is cold.

"Riyu, there's a business for a moment. He will come here later. How are you doing?" Maya knows Noval doesn't like her presence, but she tries to keep a calm smile.

"Good" replied Noval briefly.

I don't know what else Maya has to say, Noval really doesn't care about her.

"Noval, i... "

"There's actually something I want to ask you" she said, cutting out Maya's words.

"Ask me" Maya smiled cheerfully.

"Why do you feel at home here?" Ask Noval in a trivial tone. "Aren't you shameless enough to not get out of Grandpa Darma's house immediately? What is your real purpose?!"

Noval's question made Maya clutch tightly at her knees. "Grandfather Darma told me to stay here to accompany Riyu" Maya replied firmly.

Noval stares in annoyance, but Maya keeps a calm face. "Noval do you still hate me? Aren't you tired of hating me for a mistake I didn't make?"

"I didn't bring up, I just wanted to explain something that I haven't had time to explain" Maya said calmly.

"Haha. Explain what? Explain that you're innocent? Or explain that you didn't sleep with that man, and still want to insist that the child you bear is my son?!"

"That's your son, Noval. Your conscience is closed because of slander and hatred. You believe in Aunt Nita who got rid of me, and your son!"

"Stop bullshit, Maya" Noval is further infuriated when Maya instead accuses Nita.

"Omong empty? I have accurate evidence, it's just that I haven't had a chance to show it to you yet" Maya moved from her seat, closing in on Noval.

"I have a DNA test, which shows that the baby I'm carrying is 99% compatible with your DNA. You need to know Noval, Aunt Nita deliberately put away me and our son because it will marry you to its prey who is none other than the sole heir of Galuh Saputra!"

It was like a lightning strike of thousands of volts struck the body of Riyu standing in front of the door. Maya gasps when she hears Riyu's heavy breathing in the room.

"Riyu's... " Maya's suffocating.

Not expecting that Riyu has stood staring, Riyu's existence in the room was not realized by Noval and Maya. I don't know since when she was there but, looking at her expression, it seemed like Riyu had heard all those conversations.

The hospital room was silent for a moment, the cold suddenly enveloped the atmosphere there. Maya is bowed in her fingers, after this she must somehow explain to Riyu.

"Is that all true, Noval?" riyu asked trembling. "Answer! What did Maya say was true?!" sent Riyu.

"Do you believe this woman's bullshit?!" noval's index finger leads to Maya who is bowed still.

Riyu approached Maya with her sharp gaze, looking for a point of strength within Maya's eyes that began to look watery. "Riyu, I'm sorry. I didn't mean. "vibrating sound.

"Look at me, Maya. Raise your head and show me your stern look!" riyu said furiously. But by then Maya's power was gone instantly. He feels guilty, afraid, if his past will hurt Ryu.

"It's none of my business?" The look of hate she now throws at her husband. "Maya is my brother, she protects me and loves me like a real sister. The thing that hurt him would hurt me too, Noval" said Riyu gritting his teeth, anger that had never been seen before.

"Riyu." Maya's voice shuddered. Riyu's words made her moved until Maya was unable to stem her tears anymore.

"So this is the man you love, Maya?" riyu's index finger was pointing towards Noval. "This kind of man you loved until now?! A person like him doesn't deserve your sincerity, even his name isn't worth saying!"

Occasionally Maya is seen wiping away her tears dripping down her cheeks, she takes a deep breath trying to calm herself down.

"It's Riyu, it's the hospital. Don't fuss here, okay. We've visited Noval and she's fine, we better go home now" said Maya pulling Ryu's hand, though her lips smiled but there were still clear circles sliding down her cheek.

"No May! I still want to curse this demon guy!" Riyu looked at Noval sharply.

"Riyu, please. We go home" Maya pleaded with a hoarse voice. Riyu silently looked at Maya, a sadness that could no longer be expressed through words.

Finally Riyu relented, they decided to go home without saying goodbye to Noval. Never say goodbye, just look at his face. Riyu definitely could not control himself anymore, and would throw Noval's face with a vase of flowers if she turned her head towards him again.

The incident before Riyu went into Noval's room.

"Sam, I miss you so much" said Riyu who was still in her arms.

"I miss you too" Sam kissed Ryu's head gently.

After a moment of silence. "Actually I was wondering, why do you suddenly remember everything? Ah, looks like the events of that night were very helpful. I want to do it more often so you can't forget me for life!" start the conversation with a shitty tone.

Riyu immediately raised her head and patted Sam's chest hard, "Why are you always such a bitch?!" riyu protested, the annoyed face of the woman who was still in her arms made Sam anxious.

"Because I love you"

Sam grabbed Riyu by the nape, then kissed her. The eyes of both are closed, enjoying the touch of loving lips.

Long enough they drift away in her sweet kiss, after Sam pulls back the kiss, she kisses Riyu on the forehead. "I'm going to go to the office right now" said Sam gently staring in the shade.

"Is that fast?"

"Haha. I'll find time to see you again. Stupid girl" Sam rubbed Riyu's head.

"Stop calling me the stupid girl I said!" Ryu brushed off Sam's hand.

"Why do you look so cute when you're upset, hemm"

"Be quiet! It's gone" instead of guilt, Sam laughs to see the woman lash out.

"Haha, alright I'm sorry, dear" uttered in a annoying tone. Instead of being happy to be called dear, Riyu was even more annoyed to hear it. Then, Sam again pulls Ryu and kisses him once again.

"Still craving?"

Riyu blushed and shook her head, before they parted, a warm embrace accompanied, before Sam returned to his office. While Riyu, went into the room to visit Noval.

Along the way home, Maya and Riyu did not engage in any conversation. They were busy pondering with their own feelings, while looking out the car window. Riyu still does not accept what Maya went through, very unexpected

If the man Maya told me about at that time turned out to be Noval. Husband himself.
