Letter of Agreement

  The twilight had arrived, the dashing sunlight began to dim over time. Sam enjoyed the hangover he felt as a result of too much drinking wine, it was reluctant to rise from the top of his car.

 

"Boss, how much longer are you going to lie there? A day sunbathing like a fish on a tray" said Aji stood firmly staring from behind his sunglasses.

"Aji? Since when were you there" Sam said in a lazy voice. Then he sat down and said. "Look, I came here myself. You're stalking me ha?" sam grimaced amusedly.

"Boss, you look stupid when you're drunk" Aji approaches Sam. "Let me drive, you get down from there. You're getting engaged to the boss soon, isn't that a fun thing?"

Sam was silent for a moment frowning. "You're right, this should be something fun. Hey Aji, let's go with me for a drink. We go to the villa to celebrate" Sam staggered into the car.

"Something silly, you're too drunk still want to drink" Aji murmured inwardly.

On the other side...

Riyu was busy arranging clothes in his closet, sometimes he was stunned to remember Sam. The feeling is not strange when Riyu's ear again heard the voice of Mahesh who said that Sam would be engaged to Lila.

Geck... Geck... Geck... The knocking of the door blew his wishful thinking.

"Come in" Riyu said as she continued to dress up.

"Non. He called Mr. Mahesa into his room" said Mirah with an anxious look.

Ryu silently looked at Mirah. "alright. I'll be there soon" Riyu put down her clothes and stepped into Mahesa's room, at the door she paused for a moment."There's even more papa calling me" With a doubtful heart, a racing heart, Riyu ventured to knock on the door.

"Come in" Mahesa replied from inside the room.

"Papa called?" riyu asked nervously.

"Yes. Be seated"

Pluunk. Mahesa placed a map on the table right where Riyu was sitting in front of her.

"Sign!" mahesa said in a flat tone.

Riyu looked at him in surprise, he took the map and opened it. Inside is a piece of covenant paper, containing if Riyu dares to tease Sam again then he must be willing to divorce Noval without getting a penny of treasure. "only this? Do you think I'm a crazy woman of treasure?!" Without hesitation Riyu signed the paper, then handed it back to Mahesa.

"Since when have you dared to tease Sam?" Mahesa was quite surprised that Riyu signed the agreement without the slightest protest coming out of her lips.

"At least I never teased her" Riyu replied firmly.

Mahesa laughed amusedly at the reply "Oh really? Ryu. I rated you as a good-hearted girl, when I found out you helped Sam in the accident, but it turns out. I was wrong"

"Mr Mahesa, I don't care how you look at me, I'm sure even if I do well you will still look at me badly" Riyu said staring at Mahesa sharply.

"You dare to fight me!"

"I'm sorry I didn't intend to fight you but, if you want to blame me, then you better have to see how your son is first. With his status already having a wife, he dared to bring another woman and make out on his bed. Is that appropriate, Mr Mahesa?"

Hearing Riyu's words, Mahesa furrowed her brows.

"So you approached Sam to avenge Noval's actions?"

Riyu was speechless, looking at Mahesa carefully "Yes. Let's just say I did it in revenge for Noval! I've agreed to this agreement, and I've signed it. Excuse me!" Ryu moved and left the Mahesa room.

There was indeed regret in Riyu's heart with his words earlier, because of the reality. Riyu sincerely has feelings for Sam, not for revenge alone. But on the other hand it is also impossible if he reveals it all. It could even make the problem more runyam. In the meantime, let Mahesa believe the lie.

Riyu looked at Sam and Lila, as Sam clasped Lila's hand and put the ring on her finger, for some reason, she felt that something was piercing her chest. It hurts so much, but... Riyu was helpless. Applause and happy smiles emanated from all the invited guests and both families. Riyu turned her attention to the buffet table. He took a drink and preferred to be alone there.

"beautiful right? Sam himself chose this ring for me" said Lila who suddenly popped out her hand, showing off the engagement ring attached to her ring finger.

"Congratulations Lila, may you and Sam be blessed with happiness" Riyu smiled.

"Oh terimakasih perhatiannya Riyu, tapi ingat. Sam sekarang sudah jadi milikku, aku tidak akan membiarkan siapapun merebutnya dari genggaman tanganku. Jika ada yang berani melakukannya, Aku tidak akan segan membuat hidup seseorang penuh dengan kesengsaraan" Lila berbisik di telinga Riyu. "Oh satu lagi, berhentilah bersikap munafik di hadapanku. Wanita kampung!" Lila berbalik lalu beranjak pergi.

"Well, Ryu, it's all over... Forget your feelings, live as you should. As Noval's wife." Ryu whispered to himself.

**That night in a bar xx**

 

The roaring sound of music accompanied the nod of every customer who was in the bar, while enjoying Wine on his desk, Noval was cool to play with the two women leaning on his shoulders.

 

"Boss, there's a beautiful guest coming to see you" one of his men approached.

"Send him in. You can leave now" Noval told the two girls beside her.

"Law. You are indeed a man who is good at luring beautiful women" said Lila amazed when he met two women when entering the VIP room to meet Noval.

"Yes even princess Mumbar was captivated by me, to the point that you came here just to see me?" noval smiled.

"You're good at praising yourself, Mr. Noval, but let me admit. I did come here to thank you for helping me get Sam" Lila pulled the Noval tie so their faces were close together.

"Oh yeah? How do you thank me, miss?" the scent of Lila perfume made Noval feel tempted.

"You'll know how to thank me. But I want you to keep working with me"

"What "cooperation? You're very seductive." whispered Noval,

"I want you to make someone live like hell"

"You mean Ryu?"

"Yes. Hows it? You willing?"

"It is with pleasure" Noval replied, gesturing with her hand that the men in the room would leave and not disturb her.

"It looks like you're good at this" Lila said.

"You'll know." Noval buried her face in Lila. After that the sound of their activity blends together with DJ music.
