Chapter 16

  For several weeks lately Sam was very busy because he had started to concentrate in Mahesa company, while abroad only Mr. Mahesa and Noval became leaders there. However, Sam discovers there are some odd problems in the financial files.

 

"Call all the managers, we're meeting right now!" sam told his secretary by phone.

"Okay sir" replied the secretary.

Sam calls Aji into his room, "Call me boss?" aji said as he arrived at Sam's room.

"Well I'm close, you're good at reading people's faces when you lie, right?" said Sam while setting up the files on his desk.

"It's not that you're also the boss's expert" replied aji smilingly.

"Yes, but I need your help to get someone to admit their mistake" Sam smirked at Aji's shoulder.

"By the boss' pleasure" uca Aji sneered.

By the time Sam got to the meeting room, the entire manager was already there. They stood saluting Sam, after Sam sat down they also sat down.

"Thank you for your presence. I've checked all the files you've given me, as long as Noval and Mr. Mahesa are in the lead, it turns out that they've been very incoherent with the mistakes that have been in the company's reports all along" everyone present there looked at each other, they were tense and did not dare to reveal a single word.

"One of these financial files. In the financial statements file a lot of errors! During 5 years of corporate finance there was an unclear expenditure of 80k dollars" said Sam with a fierce face.

"Who's the finance manager at this company?" sam asked, leaning back in his chair.

"I... Sir" said a man with a sweaty forehead.

"Hemhs... How much did you, your boss, pay?" ask Sam without further ado.

"What do you mean sir? I work here so I am paid according to my salary by Mr. Noval" he replied anxiously. But this man was very good at hiding his anxiety.

"Aji, check the account on behalf of Warto. How much salary he receives monthly" said Sam while staring at manager Warto.

A few minutes into the room was silent until Aji finished checking Warto's account.

"In his mutation, there is 55% more money coming in than the boss's salary" Aji said, showing Sam his laptop screen.

"Alright, you can get out of here" said Sam.

"Except you, Warto! you stay in this room" Sam said. Warto again sat in his position, now the room is only Sam, Aji, and Warto.

"Jawab honestly, why did Noval steal the company's money?" said Sam.

"Great, how is this. Mr. Sam can immediately guess the mastermind" whispered Warto in heart.

"I don't know sir"

"Aji's... You know what you have to do!" said Sam.

Aji took off her belt. Ceplaakkkk. Warto fell out of his chair.

"I told you to answer honestly, why Noval took the company's money!" snapped Sam.

"Even Sam sir, I'm just following his orders. What is the money for I do not know" replied Warto.

"Do it until he finishes Aji, then go to my room" Sam said with a crimson face, then he went back to his room.

"Once the Warto's gone, I warned him not to get involved in the matter but he didn't hear me"

"You're right, Mr. Sam is a ruthless man and has more power in this company, I doubt that Warto will survive"

The employees whispered to each other, as they saw Sam coming out of the meeting room with an angry face.

Later then... Aji did his job as Sam wanted. After Aji managed to interrogate Warto, the ambulance came to pick him up. Noval who just arrived at the office felt a strange atmosphere, looking at the employees there with a tense face.

The rest of the company was excited when he saw Warto being carried by Ambulance officers with severe injuries all over his body, including one of them was Noval, he was surprised to see his men severely injured like that.

"God, Mr. Sam is indeed very handsome, even I also idolize him a lot but... She turned out to be cruel" said one of the women.

"You're right, Mr. Sam has already shown his power. Perhaps with this incident there will be no more people who dare to cheat" Many employees who shudder in horror because of the fate of Warto.

Noval overheard the conversation of the women, he clenched his hands. "So Sam did this" Noval whispered and went to her room.

Aji reported to Sam all the information he got, even it turns out that in Mahesa Noval Company employed his men in all branches of the company as financial managers.

"Bad! The demon woman and her child were indeed disgusting rats. Slowly he gnaws at the company to satiate himself"

"Give me your orders boss" said Aji steadily.

"Fired all the people listed on the blacklist. But... Don't let any one get away without a flaw in his body!"

"Do it" Aji saluted and resigned.

After a while, Noval went inside to see Sam. "Why did you beat an employee to such an injury, you intend to embarrass Sam's company!"

"Oh Mr Noval, why? You don't want your men treated harshly?" sam said calmly.

"What do you mean!"

"That's it, there's no need to pretend anymore. You also take it easy, your men scattered throughout the branch office will be the same fate as manager Warto"

"You..." Noval clenched his hand.

"Noval's played enough...." Sam got out of his chair and approached Noval.

"The long-shackled lion is now in rebellion and ready to bite, there is nothing I fear in this world including you and the fox woman" Sam stared intently at Noval with his cold smile.

"Maybe for some time I will let you stay and enjoy the riches of Mahesa, but remember... I won't let you guys master it"

"Hemh you dare threaten your own brother!" said Noval.

"I don't have any brothers. Even since I saw you first enter the house, I never once considered you a brother. Now get out of my sight!"

Noval looked at Sam with annoyance, then he went back to his room.

"Dammit!!! He started playing his cards, hemh... I'm not gonna let you go too far Sam. Just wait for the surprise I'll give you" Noval said, clasping her fist tightly.

"Aji, open job vacancies for new administrators at each branch office"

"Ready Boss" Aji replied to his message.

Her night... Dinner is ready at the dinner table, Ryu, Sam, Noval are sitting at the same table. It was very awkward as there was no chatter of any kind coming from their lips.

"Riyu's... You must feel bored at home all day, right?" suddenly Sam said.

Riyu speechlessly looked at Sam in surprise, "Why did she suddenly ask like that in front of Noval"

"Why are you looking at me like that?"

"Ep.. No Sam I just..."

"If you're not too busy at home tomorrow you can be at the meeting party"

"What?" Riyu.

"Today I'm doing employee cleaning, a lot of employees I have to fire. I also managed to get a contract, we'll have a party to celebrate. Come tomorrow"

"But... But I can't"

"Just calm down, I'll help you. I don't think Mr. Noval would mind if I brought in brother-in-law, would I?" sam looked at Noval.

"That's none of my business, I'm done" Noval bubbled up her spoon and left.

Only Sam and Riyu are left at the dinner table, Ryu does not know exactly what happened to Sam and Noval so they have a fierce dispute.
