Chapter 6

  The gurgling sound of the river water slowly resuscitated Riyu from her stupor, she felt aches, pains, all over her body. Riyu moved slowly supporting her body with both trembling hands.

 

When she wakes up, Ryu is in a small, damp cave. "I... Still alive huh?" muttered. Riyu turned towards the door, he saw Sam who was sitting down as if bearing deep regret.

"You, it's okay?" riyu asked while grimacing in pain. He looked around and asked again "Where is the driver?"

"Dead" Sam replied with an angry look.

"Get down??" Riyu held back her tears, after all, the driver of a good person even though she was a bit rude to talk but fate had snatched her away.

"Is this man the one who saved me and took me to goa?" riyu murmured while looking at Sam's clothes that were spitting out fresh blood.

"You're hurt! This... Your blood is coming out" Riyu panicked, but Sam didn't care about him at all. Riyu directly tore off her skirt "It doesn't help much but it can at least hinder your blood" Riyu said as she slashed Sam's stomach which was bleeding.

Sam looked at Riyu during her stomach, suddenly Sam hugged Riyu tightly and said "After I lost the person who was always next to me, in the future I did not want to lose you" said Sam in a soft tone.

Ryu was silent, he felt a deep feeling of sadness and loneliness.

"This man is very sad, why... His life was perfect and rich. He should be able to do any fun but I feel a different way, This man is like carrying a heavy burden" Riyu murmured inwardly.

"I... I'm not leaving you, we'll always be friends. Emm... Even if I get married tomorrow we can still be friends, right?" Entertain Riyu.

"Hemh, I won't let that marriage happen!" sam grimaced with pain. Hearing Riyu's words about her marriage Sam gets upset.

"Whatchu mean? Don't tell me you're going to ruin my marriage!" Riyu released her embrace.

"Stupid girl! Have you forgotten that you're less good at lying?" Sam pulled Ryu until their faces were very close.

"I... I'll get some water in that river, I'm thirsty" Riyu switched the conversation.

Sam silently looked at Riyu who was walking to fetch water...

 On the other hand Siti and Agi search for Riyu in all corners of the village, but everyone who is asked about the whereabouts of Riyu they say they do not know.

 

"Hey, where did that brat go! Two more days is her wedding day how dare she run away!" Siti complained while wiping the sweat on her forehead.

"Don't Ryu run away with that man!" mumbled Agi in the heart.

"God! Why are you even dumbass? Don't you have done something to her!" Snap Siti on Agi.

"No... I wouldn't have told Mom if she knew what I was doing that night. Been done..." He murmured again in his heart.

"Why are you smiling?" riyu asked Sam who was suddenly smiling towards her.

"We will be safe" replied Sam. Sam immediately collapsed on top of Riyu's shoulder.

"Hey... Hey are you okay? Please don't die!" riyu said sobbing.

"I didn't die a fool, I was so tired. Let me rest and don't move much any minute my man will come to pick me up"

Riyu was relieved, she did not refuse as Sam leaned on her shoulder. They waited for help to come, Sam was badly injured, his face was also weak and very pale. Ryu could not bear to force him to find a way again.
