16. Does anybody?

Today Soffie and Henry are serving alongside their leaders for an audit of a troubled private bank in the Sunday Market Area.  In close contact with his house, Soffie requested permission not to return to the office after the audit, and was allowed by his leadership.

As a result at 17:30 Soffie was already in his room and collapsed in his room. Soon Soffie informs David that he has arrived home so David does not have to bother to pick Soffie up to his office.

Luckily David is still bothered with a pile of work because yesterday he did not work because of illness. David is excited that Soffie is taking the call to be in a serious relationship and let go of each other's past so that they can continue to prepare for their future together.

Soffie and her mother were watching an afternoon infotainment on television in the living room that reported on the gossip of the household artist Dila Pratiwi who was rumored to be her household in the horn due to circulating news and photos dila's husband Toshihiro was found in a hotel in Taiwan

with a woman.

Soffie continued to watch the news, she was actually scared and gasped at the news, What if David found out about this news. Will David go back to Dila? Dila took her breath out violently. Jeany's babble woke her from her daydream

“ phi... kasian ya Dila it... already beautiful, good, can find your own money... but her husband is very evil, cheating! “ umpat Jeanny commented on the ongoing infotainment.

“ We do not know want mah, whether there is a problem them before.. or happen to be Dila can husband that gk good.” Soffie said.

Soffie was restless watching the news on the infotainment. There is little worry if Dila's household falls apart and goes back to chasing David. What about her? David will die. Soffie still followed the news closely.

"Mama, so same as Dila, Phi!

Deringan mobile phone in his room, making Soffie move from the middle room.  Soffie heads to her room and she immediately smiles seeing Ardi's name appearing. He immediately closed the door of his room so that his conversation was not heard by his mother outside the room.

“ Hello…

 “ Soffie, have you gone home yet? Did I pick you up in the office lobby?"

 “ I'm home anyway, What's up in?”

“ I miss you…

Soffie was speechless to hear it, her heart flowering to hear Ardi say that. It feels like saying that the same taste is still there for Ardi, but what about aunt Sabrina? Ardi's soft voice warmed his heart.  Why my heart is glad to hear Ardi's voice on the telephone.

“ Phi... You still hear me? Can we meet. I picked you up in front of your house complex, huh? I'll probably be up 30 minutes.

Soffie knew this was wrong, but he wanted to see Ardi... There was a sense of happiness tucked in his heart.  He misses the man who filled his days.  His brain and heart are out of sync . Part of his heart forbids him to meet Ardi, but some expect him to meet his heart immediately.

“ Okay, let me know if it is close, I will walk to the front of the complex.

Soffie changed her shirt with jeans and a short-sleeved shirt and took her jeans. Soffie then applied the powder to his face and lipstick on his lips, so that it looked fresh.

Upon seeing his fairly neat appearance, Soffie takes a sling bag and inserted a wallet and HP that

facilitate communication if he is contacted by anyone. Soffie told his mother that Henry was waiting for him in front of the compound, because he would meet his reluctant friend, who often took him for a walk. Jeany is unsuspecting and tells her not to be too late because tomorrow she still has to work.

His heart is pounding because soon he will meet the man he loves. But there's another taste in soffie's heart, guilt in David, guilt in aunt Sabrina and what if their relationship is known to her mother.  This guilt is more alternately present with his happiness to receive Ardi's phone,

What if when with Ardi suddenly David called or caught their togetherness. Actually he realized his actions were wrong to meet other men without the knowledge of the man who will marry him, especially the person to be met is a married person.  But it feels too late to cancel

a promise with Ardi. I just wanted to see it for a little while, maybe it didn't matter, Soffie thought.

A message has been entered on his HP that informs that Ardi is in front of the complex. Soffie finally left his house and walked to the gate of the housing complex. The distance from his house to the gate is not so far, only a few houses and can be reached in 5 minutes if on foot.

Her guilt was instantly gone when she saw the look on Ardi's face in front of her face. Ardi smiled and opened the car door for her. Ardi's car drove to their favorite restaurant when they were in college. A restaurant in the Sunday market area and not so far from Soffie's house.

After bringing Ardi's order and they both ate it, and talked like lovers who had not met for a long time.  The longing that blurs forgets the status of om and niece that forbids loving relationships between them. They held hands and laughed cheerfully together.

Talk about work that is tiring and still have to be lived for the needs of their lives and talk about the problems of friends in the office but no one talks about their partner. All that exists today is just Ardi and Soffie and their love affair that is a little hampered and a little difficult to unite in Soffie's mind.

A precious moment of togetherness for both of them. It was almost 20.30 , Soffie told Ardi that he was still recovering because a few days ago he was sick and had to go home soon, because mom found out he was out of the house. Soffie said Ardi did not need to drive him, he could ride a hocar or other vehicle to arrive home immediately.

Ardi refused it and will deliver it to the gate of his housing only.  Soffie was afraid to walk with people's husbands, she was afraid that anyone would see them together. As Ardi embraces her and heads to her car, she feels her heart pounding and the same fear of people's views if she is caught dating someone's husband. Especially if people find out that she is dating her aunt husband. No matter how much he loves the man, it still does not change the fact that the man has become

his om. The man belonged to Aunt Sabrina. He realizes he has to take Ardi out of his life.

Along the way to Soffie's house, none of them wanted to make a sound. There's a lot to say but nothing to say. They are equally aware of their equally wrong actions towards their partner. Finally Ardi's car arrived in front of his home complex and when Soffie took off his seat, Ardi said:

“Phi…. Is there a chance for me to return?’

Soffie. He is unable to speak.  Too big of a hurdle to be faced if forced . It doesn't

able to face the view of the mother who has raised herself and aunt Sabrina who has always been good to me. Soffie firmly finally shook her head.

“ Sorry, in... we should end up like this. But we…

Ardi immediately pulled Soffie in his arms, and said:

“ I was wrong... I betrayed you ... This hug regards this as a parting gift for us,” Ardi said without letting go of his hug.

" I shouldn't have let you go, Soffie.... I always loved you... I'm a fool... I can't lose you, Soffie. Let's get out of Jakarta, Phi...

Finally Ardi let go of his embrace and held Soffie's head, He brought his face closer to the face of the girl he loved. He kisses Soffie's lips gently and Ardi's actions take Soffie by surprise and her heart beats again.   Soffie doesn't resist Ardi's touch.   But a flash of David's face is present in his memory that makes Soffie sober up and releases the ******* that and pushes Ardi's embrace away from him.

“ I'm sorry, Ardi. I pamit..

Soffie got off Ardi's car in a hurry. He walked without looking back. Soffie realized, the car

Ardi was still in his place until he entered the gate of his house and closed the gate of his house..

When he reached the room, Soffie immediately took a bath and washed his body. He cried his stupidity under the shower in the bathroom in his room. He cried a mouthful of his foolishness and let Ardi kiss his lips. He felt very guilty for aunt Sabrina and David.

smilingly.

“ Hey , anywhere baby, ko just pick up my phone.

 “Sorry brother, I took a shower so I heard there was a phone.

“Tomorrow so I pick up at 5 pm yes in front of the lobby, elo do not overtime yes, dear!

 “ yes sis... may I ask one thing from elo... “ David's voice sounds soft.

Soffie smiles at David's request, which she thinks is funny and can erase his grief because of his actions with Ardi earlier in the car.

David's loud laughter made Soffie smile happily. Soffie forgot a few minutes ago that she just had to cry in the shower and feel guilty about her stupid actions.

Soon Soffie turns off the phone and David laughs cheerfully at his girlfriend who must be embarrassed

half-dead. The video call was interrupted once more and Soffie did not pick up the call. David doesn't give up until the fourth call of the new vieo call is opened by Soffie. David's face appeared.

The phone was immediately turned off Soffie, because he was embarrassed to hear answers or laughter from David who would taunt him endlessly. Hopefully tomorrow Brother David forgets, Soffie thought. David laughed chuckling at the screen of his phone dead and he knew very well that Soffie's face was blushing red withstanding embarrassment.
