13. Mellifluent Voice

Sunday afternoon, after the service David invited Soffie to see the exhibition of wedding equipment in Senayan

City and stop by at the restaurant opening “ Samudra Suki “ belongs to cousin David there.

One thing Soffie never imagined would meet David's past is the leading artist of the homeland who specifically greeted his lover. While eating at the restaurant, David was laughing at Soffie's expression, which had difficulty removing pieces of crab meat from his shell. The woman's voice made David look at the source of the voice.

“David….

The melodious voice of someone so missed by David and it managed to take his eyes off Soffie.

David was silent for a moment to find Dila's face beside him, Someone who had filled his heart for years, someone he loved so much and hated so much , it was currently standing before him and looking at his face back after disappearing without any news. The woman smiled at him.

“Hai, “ said David flatly and shifted his gaze back from the woman. While Shinta the manager still stands behind Dila as if to keep from the view of the surrounding community.

“What's David News?

“Baik”

“Who are you the same? Your boyfriend?

“Iya, she's my wife-to-be.  Soon we will get married,” David said again.

A disappointed look was on Dilla's face. He was about to cry but soon he smiled and extended his hand to Soffie who was wiping her hand after washing her hand on the cobble

provided by restaurant.

“ Hi , I'm Dilla. “ he said as he thrust his hand to shake hands with Soffie.

Soffie stood politely from her seat and welcomed Dilla's helping hand, Dila smiling sinisterly watching Soffie. This woman is shorter than him, her skin is pure white, a little beautiful but according to Dila is more beautiful, himself than the woman who David claimed as his future wife. Maybe this woman is friendly but way below Dilla.

" I'm Soffie, I really idolize the songs sung by Dila.

“ Oh yes, thanks Soffie. Did you know Soffie, David was, could not sleep if I did not sing every night….. " Dila's speech was cut off because she saw David standing up and pulling Dila out of the restaurant and followed by Shinta the manager who followed the star's steps.

Eh why Dila said that, well can be serious nih . can lash later Soffie. Panicked David immediately stood up and pulled Dila's hand out of the restaurant owned by his cousin.  He wants to reprimand his former lover who likes to act arbitrarily. David didn't think long at the time.

David's actions intend to stop Dila's talk that can make Soffie misunderstand later.  Her inner voice actually deteriorated hearing Dila's words. He also caught a glimpse that Soffie was also unhappy with Dila's remarks.   Soffie is further disappointed when David pulls Dila out of the restaurant, somewhere.  One thing David forgets is that he pulled Dila out of the restaurant and left Soffie alone inside the restaurant

without saying anything. It hurt Soffie.

Soffie plans to eat the full meal at this restaurant and go straight home, Soffie doesn't care if David will come back or not.  He was a little sobbing in the middle of eating his food, he immediately went to the toilet and came out of the restaurant. His heart ached when David left for another woman.  He did not care about the sight of the person inside the restaurant who saw him crying leaving the restaurant.

Soffie never thought that a famous artist should be his rival in defending David.

He should have heard Sonny's warning for him. One Indonesian knows the name Dila Pratiwi, a sound artist

melodious, whose song is very popular and he himself is one of the fans of Dila Pratiwi.  He was just an ordinary man who was forced to marry David because he had his secret. Really stupid.

If time could play out he wanted to tell Sony to help him get away from David. Soffie is unable to compete with the beautiful singer, whose voice is melodious and the worst thing is that the artist still wants to have David and it is very visible that they still love each other.

David pulls Dila roughly and goes straight into the parking lot located next to the restaurant located on 5th.  He was still attractive in a corner of the parking lot that was completely deserted. Sinta the manager kept up with her artist from behind and only let David take Soffie and Sinta to keep a close eye on her artist safety.

For David, it was the female artist who started the matter with him. He decided to leave David and marry the Japanese man and change his mobile number and cut off all communication access with him first, and hired a bodyguard to guard him.

David felt like a criminal in Dilla's eyes. David was forbidden to see Dila.   Dila insulted David at the time. Dila did not appreciate David's great love and told many bodyguards to keep him from David. As David is about to get out, he runs into his cousin who owns the restaurant, The cousin who claims Soffie was out a few minutes ago crying. David forgets that Soffie, who is alone in the restaurant, even pulls Dila's hand in front of Soffie's eyes. He acted rashly earlier.  No

david knew, that Soffie was so hurt, sad even to sob when eating at the restaurant.

Ohhh. David ruffled his hair and walked out of the restaurant without saying anything. Upset at her stupidity leaves Soffie eating at the restaurant alone.  I have to find him and explain this stupid mistake. I'm sorry, Soffie.

Dila did not expect David's attitude to change to him. David always granted whatever Dila asked. David would not let Dila be disappointed let alone cry. He's the guy who's always been there for Dila. But because of a woman Dilla used to look at, David was angry and ignored her.

That woman is not a great woman like her. Why did David notice the woman so sincerely. Dila is hurt over David's actions at the restaurant. He was jealous to see David treating his lover so sweetly. Dila's heart ached because David no longer cared about her. David's actions were very different to that of the woman. What was his name... Soffie.. I'll look for her and see how great that woman is!  David, you will come back to me, Dila thought with ambition.  That woman won't be able to take you away from me, Vid.

Dila no longer has rights over David. He had unknowingly embarrassed himself on his former lover who had once been expelled from his life. Let me go back, David.... Ilove you... David, I miss our togetherness.
