12. The Big Boss Visit

A week has passed. As promised by David to Jeany, David's parents will come to Soffie's house. Yesterday David had reaffirmed to Jeanny that David's lunch break would be at Soffie's house around lunchtime with his parents and some members of the extended family

David has also informed Sonny that his family will propose to Soffie tomorrow and asks Sonny to accompany Soffie Saturday at his home. David understands that Soffie is still not very familiar with her quiet brother.

The sun was shining when Sonny's car entered his parents' house. It has been 10 years he did not step on this house, because the process of David's application to Soffie, making him invite his wife and 9-year-old son to attend this house.

Soffie is so beautiful using a light blue dress from cotton knee-length with floral motifs and her face is already in thin makeup so it does not look pale, but still looks sweet. Soffie waited on the terrace until Sony came down and brought his little family. This is Jeany and Soffie's first meeting with Sonny's small family members.

Soffie did not dare to reprimand the boy who was running in the garden and tried to climb up to the mango tree because

something is already fruitful. He only noticed the boy running towards the fruitful mango tree.

Soffie welcomes her sister's family. Soffie is actually confused about what to call her beautiful sister-in-law. He knows the name of his brother-in-law, Dissy. But he hesitates to call her, whether Brother Sonny's wife knows of their problems.

Sony just stood by when he saw his wife hugging Jeany and Soffie. He looked around the garden in front of the house and noticed the neighborhood that had once been his residence. The house was unchanged from the last time he visited when his father died.  Still the same, even the trees are arranged

well done. They take really good care of this house.

“Dissy, you are so beautiful, “ says mommy kindly and hugs dysy.

“thank you mama…

“Come in, thank you Sonny and Dissy for coming and becoming Soffie's guardian.

Sonny walked into the house without saying anything and immediately sat down on the sofa. I thought after the fight with David yesterday, brother Sony can change, but it turns out his attitude is still the same as before .

Luckily Dissy was so warm and friendly. Dissy forced to help mom in the kitchen. There was only me and Sonny and Stephen who were busy running around and asking for a photo stuck on the wall.

"Papa.. There's a picture of papa here, here," cried Stephen saw a picture of his young papa on the wall of the house.

"Hemm... sit down Stef!

Stephen suddenly said he wanted to go to the toilet and Sonny had to go inside to take his son to the toilet.  After Stephen came back from the toilet, he sat down next to me. The little boy took my hand and said:

“ Aunty.. why aunt never want to play to our house," asked Stefanus innocently. He looked at Soffie curiously. Soffie was surprised to hear the little man's answer. Soffie is afraid of answering it wrong and has an impact on her relationship with her brother which is getting bad again.

“maaf ,sayang . aunt busy working. But later if the holiday, aunt can play to your house?” ask me carefully while looking at Brother Sony, and look Sonny nodded.

Oh, thank goodness I can play at Sonny's. Can I hug this handsome boy. His eyes look like his mother's and his nose looks like Sonny's sister. But Soffie didn't dare to do it.  The boy pulled his hand and just kept getting him up and out of the house.

“ Aunty, I want to ride that mango tree, aunt. Is the fruit sweet, auntie?

“Sweet donk. You take it must be the yellow ones..

“later after this event is over, papa teach you to ride a mango tree,” Sonny replied while standing because there are several cars coming and stopping in front of the house.

Stephen cried out in joy at Sonny's reply. Soffie comes out following Sonny who welcomes the guests on the terrace.

“ David came with his extended family.  Eh Soffie, there is boss elo tuh , phi ...pak governor BI tuh “ said Sonny again

“ Hah…. Why did Big Boss come to our house, brother?

“ Yes helped David to propose to you, what else did he do if not that?

“ indeed the David family knows my big boss, brother

“Not know anymore, the wife of the Governor of BI was his aunt David. Let's welcome them.

" Ouch... Brother Sony .. I'm afraid to meet Big Boss ka,... I've never talked to him, how is this, Brother Sonny ?  Why didn't David say yesterday ? " Soffie said anxiously.

Unwittingly Soffie, He holds Sonny's arm .  Soffie was so anxious to see her Big boss pay a visit to her house. Sonny let his little sister hold his arm. He understood his sister was easily nervous about new things. Soffie grew nervous after seeing Big Boss' face present in her house.

Sonny greeted all those present including David who today appeared very official and dashing. He wore a brown uniform batik shirt that had been prepared by Susana, his mother David. Including Big Boss Soffie also wears the same uniform as the David family.

Jeany and Dissy serve food at a table in the corner of the living room and invite those present to enjoy the opening.

When all the guests entered the house, Big boss Soffie smiled kindly at Soffie and admonished Soffie kindly and warmly.  Even though in the office, there is no way he can talk this close to the highest leader in his office.  Big Boss is the busiest person in the office and is very serious about his work, so Soffie is really surprised at the presence of Big Boss in his house. The David family is a great family. Soffie thinks what if Henry finds out that Big Boss is visiting his house. Really amazing>

“hah...,” Soffie was surprised to hear the words of her boss and turned her gaze to David.

“ how's Soffie? “ says Big boss once again on his whim.

It's a question of what the hell, seriously or jokingly from My Big Boss. I saw David smiling, wanting to throw his ugly face with a sofa pillow, but David still kept smiling at me.

“ Brother David said so, sir? ‘I'm formal and nervous

“Quiet , dear ...kan you are ready to be my wife right, so I need to be fired.. ha..ha, “ said David while walking and changing his seat. David sits next to Soffie and embraces her lover. David was so cool and relaxed in front of the big family and the Soffie family.

Sonny notices David's actions on his sister. He saw that David was serious about Soffie. It

looks completely changed from the son of a bitch to a man who is mature and willing to take responsibility and serious in preparing for his future.

After Jeany invited guests to eat an appetizer in the form of fruit pudding at the beginning of lunch, Bagus Pratama as the parents of David who is the owner of Pratama Group opened the conversation by expressing his heart about the need to visit the family home Budiyanto Chandra at noon today. His views were directed at Jeany, Sonny and his future son-in-law Soffie.

“ So as we know together, that my arrival and the extended family to visit the family of the late Yoseph Budiyanto Chandra is aimed at proposing to Soffie Budhiyanto Chandra to be his wife

from our son David Prawira.  Our son now leads several companies and I believe he can support his new family.  We are very pleased that this proposal was accepted by the family of the late Joseph Budiyanto Chandra. And for that we are now waiting for an answer from the Soffie family

Soffie thinks he will represent his mother to answer questions from the family and will ask

time to prepare because he had not known David for long and he felt not ready to marry David, especially now there is a Big boss in front of his eyes and it makes him have to think in arranging sentences. But before Soffie answers, a firm voice comes out of Sonny's mouth. What an amazing day, Soffie thought.  Sonny represented himself answering.

“Thanks for the arrival and good intentions of Mr. Bagus Prawira's extended family, I am Sonny Budiyanto Chandra representing my late father. Joseph Budiyanto Chandra answers David's family proposal,

We are accepting with open proposals from extended families and we hope that David and Soffie can become a harmonious family in the future and we can become one big family that is familiar.

The answer from Sonny made everyone present rejoice even David clapped his hands full of joy, He hugged his lover who was next to him. Only Soffie was stunned and he was even more surprised when he heard David's question that seemed not serious..

“Then can I marry Soffie later this month? David said with enthusiasm and was greeted with

a crisp laugh from his extended family.

“ Hah....sister David...why rush,” said shocked.

“ How about I khilaf phi?

“ ah crazy you.

Everyone present laughed at the conversation we both had including Sonny. He kept watching me closely. Finally Papa Bagus spoke up and asked his future daughter-in-law:

“ What is Nak Soffie's plan , when is the right time to marry David?

“Emm... possible next year om,”.

“ Uh .. where can... really long phi..  Next month, you should be my wife. “ David replied loudly.

Everyone present immediately laughed back to hear David who impatiently wanted to marry Soffie immediately.

Without guessing the Big Boss voiced out quite firmly to Soffie.

"Soffie, actually if there's a serious and sincere man, he's really getting married to you. Not to play around ... David asked me to propose to you. So please consider David's proposal to marry you soon. Don't you love each other, so what are you waiting for, better to be hastened than you make a mistake so that your marriage is not a blessing!

Sonny who sees his sister at the insistence, he helps Soffie by issuing his opinion on the large family of David :

“What if the wedding is done in 6 months, it is not good to be too hasty, vid.. later people think nothing of the two of you.

“ Two months, then,…. Son.. Long time knew that 6 months…

Papa David wisely spoke to Soffie calmly.

“ Son Soffie, Better everything good should be done immediately, but it does not force you to marry David immediately, but it is not good if you are too close but without a binding relationship, but it is not good if you are too close, for fear of bad things happening between you. Later mama David who will help you prepare it, I think two more months is also a good time for your wedding?

Soffie was silent and he looked at his mother who had seen him and handed the decision in his hand, then he saw Sonny as if looking for answers. Then Sonny nodded his head, He understood the confusion of his sister. He feels confident about David now and is able to take care of Soffie. Finally Soffie steady said:

“ well... I will be married to Brother David in 2 months…. But, ..

“ but what else is phi..” said David

“I can still work.I don't have to be at home, right.. because I have a mama that I have to finance and this house I have to keep,” Soffie replied,

Never expected by Jeany Soffie's question was answered by Sonny lightly.

“Kalo about mom Jeanny, I'll take care of her Soffie, Elo don't worry about it. Elo take care of David.

just so that he stays faithful “, Sonny said very firmly

“Yes has Soffie, I think what the fuck...just calm down, I do not forbid you to work while halal and if you want to visit aunt, I will definitely take you. okay, baby? “ David replied casually.

Soffie and Jeany smiled happily at Sonny and David's reply which calmed both of them.
