"Good morning ma'am, how can I help you?" greet the officers at the reception.
"Good morning, I've made an appointment with Arga Specialist Obgyn's doctor" Medina told officers.
"Sorry, with whose mother?" ask officer.
"Medina Salsabila" replied Medina.
"Husband's name?" the officer asked while he was busy typing Medina's data into the computer.
Medina just fell silent not knowing what to answer.
"His husband? it's sad that I'm just a woman who's pregnant out of wedlock."
"Sorry, Mom?" the officer asked repeatedly because Medina did not immediately answer the question.
"Ah .. yes, the husband's name is Rayga Arkana," replied Medina. Before long, Medina regretted having used that name for her baby's father.
"Ray wasn't my husband nor was he the father of this baby, why did I even mention his name? You stupid Medina! you moron! " inner Medina was upset against herself.
"Okay, ma'am, this is the first in this clinic? Please go to the end room. And then there will be officers who help check your weight and blood pressure checks. Oh yes, this is a check card please bring when the next examination schedule. Thank you" said the officer with a friendly smile. Medina simply nodded and threw her smile at the hospital attendant.
He leisurely headed for the room at the very end. But when he was in the middle of the road there was someone who called out in a weak and heavy voice that made him stop his footsteps.
"Medina," said the man.
Medina's chest was pounding and her entire body was shaking violently. Finally, what he had been afraid of happened also. The man she wanted to meet the most, was now sitting in a wheelchair in front of her. Medina was just silent, not even opening her voice. It was as if his voice was stuck in the esophagus and could not get out. He never really thought he would meet a jerk who had ruined his life in such a miserable state. The man looked thin and weak. Medina knew the man was in an accident but did not expect Gibran to be that bad. Although he tried to forgive but his hurt and disappointment could not just disappear. He tried his hardest to look strong in front of the man. He did not want to show his pitiful face full of tears. His facial expression turned cold.
"So this is really you Me? How are you?" ask Gibran again because Medina was silent.
"I'm sorry, I don't have time to talk to you because I'm in a hurry to get a doctor's appointment" Medina said coldly, not looking at the man in front of her.
"Isn't your body gone? So why did you see a doctor?" gibran asked unceasingly looking at Medina's flat stomach without blinking. This made Medina more vulnerable. As much as Medina's energy refrained from looking weak in the face of Gibran.
"I'm sorry, it's none of your business" replied Medina squeezing a canine dress that covered her stomach. Medina wanted to leave Gibran. However, he could not continue his steps as he felt a grip on his wrist. Medina tried to let go of her hand. But his efforts failed, with all his might Gibran did not let the woman go.
"Just be honest with Me. That's Gibran's son, right? Answer me, don't lie to Gibran anymore" asked Gibran expectantly.
"No, this is not your son." Medina was still trying to untangle Gibran's grip.
"Please let go of my hand!" pinta Medina's.
"No, before you speak honestly!"
"Darling, why are you still here? I've been looking for you everywhere but nothing. Come on, baby, we've been called doctors." Ray arrives at the perfect moment, appearing to suddenly rescue Medina from Gibran's clutches. Gibran took Medina's hand off, when he saw Ray approaching.
Medina was once again shocked by Ray's arrival at the hospital. He thought by throwing away his old simcard everything would be over soon. But it turns out he was wrong. Now he is caught between two men who have ever existed in his life.
There was no reply from the two people who were in front of Medina. The atmosphere between the three was so quiet. Make Ray talk again.
"Oh yes, I am Rayga Arkana Dewanto. Medina's husband." Ray reached out to Gibran and brushed off his smile.
"He's Gibran Ilyansyah, Mas" Medina said as Gibran welcomed Ray's hand as a sign of their introduction.
"Oh .. Yes, I remember now. You were the one who used to call my wife at night? Yes .. true I remember it. I think the name and the sound are the same" Ray said in a pleasantry. Although in fact he had known from the beginning the man in front of him was the one who had made Medina's life suffer.
"Right, I called Medina that night. Forgive me for disturbing your peace" Gibran said, bowing his head.
"Me, I know I'm a lot guilty of you. But I want to apologize to you. May you be happy and I also have received karma from my own actions. Look Me! God has punished me" Gibran said in a sad and soft tone. Now he looked at Medina with regret.
Medina silently did not reply with any words. Although the man sinned a lot on him, he could not bear to see the suffering of the man who had once filled the space in his heart. Even a little, he still had some affection and sympathy for the poor man. But now Medina realized, the love for Gibran has gone, yawned somewhere.
"Ah yes, Gibran I should immediately take Medina to the doctor's room. Sorry Gibran we stayed. Next time we talk again" said Ray, clutching Medina's fingers tightly and leading her to the doctor's office. It was as if Ray had said, no longer approach Medina. Medina's mine. He also asserted there was no gap for Gibran to enter between them.
Gibran clenched his hand an angry sign. Especially angry at himself who used to foolishly let go of the most precious woman in his life. Now he is very sorry. And useless regret finds he has been replaced by another man.
"Sir, I'm sorry about the toilet. And when I come back you are gone" said Mr. Edo, the servant of the Ilyansyah family.
"It's okay sir, let's go home!" take Gibran who was then pushed by his servant out of the hospital to the car.
And unbeknownst to them was a pair of eyes that noticed the incident from beginning to end. In fact, the stranger still followed Ray and Medina to the front of the check room.
