Devan looked at Shabrina with broken feelings. Was he hurt so much by that? or is there something else that makes him like this?
How could Devan go to take his son without Shabrina. If all this time Shabrina was the one he was looking for.
"No Sha, I can't leave without you. Children also certainly will not want to go without their mother" said Devan.
Shabrina sobbed so bitterly, yet as hard as she could possibly hold her back.
"Come Sha. Don't be like this. I promise you, there will be no more injuries you receive when you get there" Devan said.
Shabrina looked at Devan grimly and sad.
"No more injuries?" Ask Shabrina.
"How there are no more wounds. If your mother really doesn't like me. How does he know if you have a child from a woman like me, what if he berates me and drives me out of the city again. Threaten me and make me mentally broken. Do you think I'm that strong?" Shabrina was devastated.
He shook his head and cupped his face, holding his cry inside there.
"No mas, I'm not that strong" Shabrina muttered so bitterly. She cried with grief, a cry that revealed how hurt her heart was.
Devan immediately stepped up and knelt before Shabrina. He grabbed Shabrina's hand and clasped her tightly.
Wiping that face of sadness so gently.
"Sha, I will no longer let him hurt you and the child. That's enough, even though she's my mother. But you're my life" Devan said so sure.
"For the sake of our son. Please, come with me there. Nesya needs treatment, she must be dealt with immediately. You want him to be healthy like any other kid, right?" Devan asked. His hand was still clasping Shabrina's hand tightly. The hand is no longer as smooth as it used to be, but it is this hand that has struggled to die to raise its children.
Shabrina was still silent and still held Isak in her tears. It felt like she wanted to cry, she wanted to spill all her burdens. He was disappointed, but did not know who he was disappointed in, he wanted to be angry, but how to vent it.
He's tired, but can Devan understand.
"Sha... Justjust please. For the sake of the child" Pinta Devan again.
"They won't go with me. Although I am his father, but I am still in their sight. No matter what happiness I offer, it's still you that they need Sha" Devan said.
Shabrina looked at Devan who was looking at her wistfully. The sharp eyes he had always longed for, and now he was in front of him. Offering back the happiness he had wanted to achieve.
But.... It wasn't that easy for him to accept.
"Sha... I know, your wounds are so big. A million words of my apology can't even treat your disappointment. But for now, I'm not asking you to forgive me. I just asked you to come to Jakarta with me and the kids. We treat Nesya together. Yeah" pinta Devan again.
Shabrina's lips quivered again, she let go of Devan's hand and again cupped her face. For some reason meeting Devan she couldn't dampen her emotions. He wanted to cry, it felt like it really could not be expressed. All the burdens that he had been damming felt sticking out and could not stand it.
The burden he had been keeping alone. Tired, sad, sick, everything he can't wait for.
Devan got up and sat down beside Shabrina, she immediately pulled Shabrina into her arms. Hugged this woman who looked so fragile and tired.
And of course, Devan's embrace made Shabrina cry even more. Even her cries were quite strong. Even the more Devan rubbed his back the more he could not stop Shabrina crying.
Devan closed his eyes as if feeling the pain of Shabrina at this moment. Shabrina's cry really hurt her heart. It sounds so sad and full of weight.
Oh my...
Devan lets Shabrina cry in his arms. It doesn't matter if someone sees them. He just wanted to let Shabrina feel calm and confident, if he would not let the wound come again.
Six years they have lived in longing, the love that was once poured out now seems to be sticking back.
Pain, disappointment and longing come together into one. Coupled with all the pain they had been in. Making Shabrina spill all the burden that was in his heart on Devan, through his cry that sounded so bitter.
Even Shabrina's hand gripped Devan's shirt and hid his face in the man's chest.
Crying until she is satisfied and relieved. After all this time he always held back his grief.
Very long...
Even until his body was sweating and his voice had already disappeared. Just leave as much as you can in Devan's arms.
The warm feeling of Devan's embrace, the fragrant masculine scent that she once felt really made Shabrina feel something different. Something that made his feelings a little calm, and the burden he had been carrying seemed to be coming out.
Devan looked down at Shabrina who was still hugging her. She smiled and gently rubbed Shabrina's head, it might have been almost an hour that she hugged Shabrina and let this woman cry, so that she could feel her chest was wet from Shabrina's crying.
Devan kissed Shabrina's head softly and deeply. Longing and love that is still always there for this lover of his heart.
Devan began to stretch his embrace, but he frowned, when he saw that Shabrina had even been closed in his arms.
She asleep????
Devan gave a poignant smile looking at Shabrina's face up close. His face was dry, shabby, and no longer as bright as it used to be. Her Shabrina used to be a cheerful and smiling girl, but now, her Shabrina was a tough woman who no longer thought of herself, but only for her child.
'pardon me' whispered Devan.
Devan immediately lifted Shabrina's body into his sling. And sure enough, it seemed that Shabrina had already fallen asleep from the fatigue of crying and also this one day she who had nothing to rest.
Devan painstakingly opened the door, but when the door opened, he was surprised to see Arsya standing by the door.
Devan looked at him confused. Did Arsya hear their conversation???
Arsya snarled and she straightened the pillow next to Nesya, letting Devan lay her mother there.
Devan lays down Shabrina's body with a heart. Cover her with her thin blanket.
His eyes looked sadly at Shabrina who did look so exhausted.
Devan's hand gently rubbed Shabrina's face, and after that he turned towards Arsya who was sitting in the seat near the door.
Devan approached his son.
"Why not sleep?" Devan asked, his voice sounding soft because he did not want to wake his two beloved women.
"Can't you make me cry again?" Arsya Pinta
Devan immediately looked up to hear the words.
