They arrived at a travel agent office. Edwin booked a flight on Friday morning. The training will begin on Monday. But Edwin had to get to Jakarta early. He had to prepare a place to stay while in the capital, get to know the surrounding environment and so on. He is afraid that if he leaves on Sunday, he will rush and affect his activities.
Edwin just booked a departure ticket. He has not yet booked a ticket to return home.
"How long will you be in Jakarta?" ask Indi Lirih when they get home Indi. He didn't want to hear Edwin's answer. Because no matter how many days Edwin was in Jakarta, he would still be far from Edwin. India is not ready.
"Three months." he said.
"What's? Three months? It's been a long time." Indi said in his heart. He just fell silent. Without feeling a lot of tears dripping from the eye of Indi. The tears she had been holding since noon. But he tried to stay strong in front of Edwin. He did not want to show his sadness.
They sat in the house while drinking the tea that Indi had just prepared.
"What will you do when I'm in Jakarta?" Edwin looked at Indi's face while taking a piece of biscuit and devouring it.
"I? I'll work as usual. What else?" Indi pretended to casually respond to Edwin's question. But in his heart was obviously very sad.
"Are you going to miss me?" Edwin's question made Indi flinch. Edwin is too to the point.
"If I say no, I'm obviously lying." Indi immediately lowered his head. He didn't feel like he should be that honest. Too soon.
Edwin smiled satisfied knowing his misses would be reciprocated.
It was getting dark, they were still chatting casually together. Lia did not bother them at all. She saw her brother was happy now. Edwin is a good man. That was enough to make him happy.
"Ndy, I have to go back to my friend's house." Edwin parted at Indi. The clock on the wall already showed ten o'clock in the evening.
"All right." Indi agreed that they should get some rest.
Edwin stood up to leave. Indi also stood up, he would drive Edwin up to the gate. Before stepping, Edwin pulled Indi's hand to face him.
With gentleness, his index finger pulled Indi's chin so that their gazes met. Just like that day, Edwin softly kissed Indi's lips. Not once, but several times. Just touching, nothing more. But the atmosphere of the night made it feel different from that day. Sweeter, more romantic.
"I left first" said Edwin after putting a helmet on his head and turning on his motorbike.
Indi nodded.

The next day, the,
Edwin knew, Indi must be busy working. But the loud beat of his heart thirsted for Indi's words. Not a few hours later, Edwin was missing. Though this morning he had picked up Indi and drove her to the office as usual. It just so happens that today Edwin has nothing to do. So all he did was think about Indi and the things they had been through together.
Earlier this morning Indi wore a black knee-length skirt, a white striped shirt and a brown blezer. He wears high heels with a size of 12 cm in white, in line with the color of his shirt. Her hair was cut, she was really pretty.
Obviously Edwin was fascinated. Although this is not the first time Edwin saw Indi's appearance like that.
The shadow made him want to meet again soon with the woman who had managed to conquer his heart. Women who make rice taste bad if not eaten with it. The woman who had taken an empty place in his heart.
Waiting for five o'clock in the afternoon was a long time.
"Sound." A short message from Edwin.
As usual, Indi knew soon Edwin would contact him through the code he had received from his heart. He's already prepared.
At the first twang, Indi had already taken her phone.
"You busy?"
"Little." Answer lies. There are a lot of reports that he has to finish. If he claims to be busy, Edwin will tell him to continue with the work and stop their chat.
"How do you feel about me?" ask Edwin.
Again his heart raced reading Edwin's question.
"I feel comfortable around you."
"really?"
"Yes, I'm right." Indi was too washed away in Edwin's romance cradle. Apparently last night Indi had regretted admitting he would miss Edwin when he went to Jakarta. However, after he thought again, if Indi did not confess his feelings in front of Edwin, it is not impossible that Edwin would find another woman who loved him and left Indi. Indi begins to admit, she loves Edwin. Her feelings all along were longing, dear, love.
"What do you feel when I'm away from you?" Edwin's questions deepened making it difficult to answer. Indi had to really think about his words.
"I'll miss you." she replied after a few minutes of contemplation.
"What about you?" Indi asked Edwin. He also wanted to know how Edwin felt about her. Edwin never expressed love or longing. Only he confessed by the traps of Edwin's questions. Although he could feel the vibe of Edwin's love, and the kiss of the lips was certainly love, but Indi wanted Edwin to say it.
"My soul would be lost if I wasn't with you."
Edwin's answer left Indi dumbfounded. He had not expected Edwin to be able to bring out such poetic words.
"really?" This time it was Indi who questioned.
"What do you want from me to see that I love you?"
Again Edwin's answer made him peg. Of love? Edwin loves him? He was locked up in his daydream. He forgot he was working. His smile could not be held.
"Sheep..." Mr. William entered Indi's room and called him. Making Indi aware of his daydream.
"Yes Mr. William," said Indi.
William is the Director of operations at the company where he works. He is an Australian man. Even so, William is very fluent in Indonesian because he has lived in this country for a dozen years. Only occasionally will he speak in English to his staff. It is not uncommon for him to mix language in one sentence. William is a pleasant superior to Indi."
"Can you send us a production report this month?. I will have a meeting with the big boss tomorrow" William said.
"Okay, I'll send it soon." replied Indi. Indi understood, before the meeting with the owner of the company, William had to learn the material so that he was not stiff when dealing with a big boss. Indi must immediately complete the requested report and explain its contents to William.
"Just tell me when it's over." Said William while leaving the room Indi.
"Okay, I Will. (Alright, definitely.)" replied Indi swiftly.
"Later tonight we'll connect again yeah, I'll have to get back to work." Indi ignored Edwin's last question. He was forced to stop his conversation with Edwin who had made his adrenaline go up and down. The conversation this time was very interesting.
Edwin understands.
Indi immediately returned to work and completed his tasks.
