Love Indira (My Ex-Lover's Mother)

Love Indira (My Ex-Lover's Mother)
Mother Merestui

Indi's parents were very happy to see her daughter coming. Indi regularly visit them every month. He usually comes on Saturday early in the month. Just last week she visited her parents, today she is coming again. His sudden arrival invited questions in his mother's heart.

"Your tumben came without news." Say Indi's mother while sitting next to Indi who is opening her jacket and shoes.

Indi smile.

"Who's home?"  Usually Indi comes alone and his mother never questions. This time also Indi came alone but he asked Indi who he came home with. Indi's mother seemed to have a sixth sense. His premonition is very strong.

"Go home Edwin ma'am." he said.

"Who is Edwin?"

"My friend. I've only known him for a few months. He just came from abroad."

"Where's house? How can you go home together?"

"The Umbrella Village."

Indi's mother smiled.

"You love her?" indi's mother held Indi's hand.

Hearing the question, Indi turned to her mother while putting socks into her shoes.

"Mother...why ask that?" It seemed that he was reluctant to answer a question that he himself did not know the answer to.

"Mother just asked, whether this mother's daughter now has a patchwork of hearts or not" he replied casually.

"I don't know mom. She's nice, but I don't know if I love her or not."

"Looking at the look on your face, I know it looks like this man is treating you well. If you have time, bring him here to meet your father. Looks like I agree that you're dating her."

"Have you never met, why would you say you agree?"

"Mother's feelings, mother's premonitions say so."

"Ah mother, again mother brings out the senses to the six mothers." Indi seduces her mother. He hid a smile while picking up his still-welded backpack and carrying it into the room.

Indi was very happy to hear his mother's words that he agreed to his relationship with Edwin. If only they had been dating, Indi would have immediately told Edwin this good news. Rarely are there parents who have not seen their prospective daughter-in-law have expressed agreement.

Indi took the time to play with her sisters. He has three sisters. Two women and one man. Lia's been living with him in the city. Sometimes he would go back to the village. Just like her. His two other sisters Princess and Rizky are still sitting on the bench SD. Their age is very far away. That's why they're not too familiar.

Indi has been living in the city since Putri sat in the second grade of SD and Rizky is still first class SD. Although rarely met, Indi loved her sisters very much.

As usual, when he was in the village he would help his mother to find wood firewood next to the house while washing her eyes with a green view of the trees. Unlike in the city, he could only see concrete piled up and iron moving on the streets. He actually left his post as an assistant manager when he was out of office and was not at all shy about doing that. His father was a car repair shop. He has been building this business since he was a teenager. It is this effort that allows them to go to school.

Indi has a grandmother who lives with her mother and father. When Indi was little, his grandmother spoiled him a lot. Now, it was Indi's turn to spoil her grandmother.

Indi massaged her grandmother's feet gently while watching television in the living room. Grandma stroking Indi's hair. They talk about a lot of things. Edwin did not escape the story of Indi. Her grandmother was very happy to hear Indi's story. Grandma felt Edwin was the most suitable man to accompany her grandson.

That night, Indi slept with grandma to let go of her longing. Indeed, every time he returned to the village, Indi would sleep in his grandmother's room. She still likes to listen to the fairy tales from grandma before going to bed. His grandmother always treated him like an elementary school child. Before Grandma's fairy tale runs out, Indi will fall asleep. Just like the usual days.

Indi slept well. When she woke up, Grandma had gone to the kitchen to cook. Grandma could never wake up. The day still shows at half-six in the morning. But the chickens in the village had awakened him with his distinctive cockokan.

Because he was still lazy, Indi was still in his bed. He grabbed his phone on the table and he saw a message from Edwin. Edwin sent the message at five in the morning. "Edwin always woke up earlier than me." Indi salute to Edwin. And then, he read the message immediately.

"Indi... How about we go back to the city tomorrow?" Edwin said.

Tomorrow is Saturday. If they reach the city tomorrow afternoon, they will have time for a walk Saturday afternoon and Sunday before Indi returns to work. Though the plan Edwin wants to invite Indi to return to the city today. But Bu Rica forbade him under the pretext of still missing Edwin. Understandably, Bu Rika has been abandoned by her eldest son for two years. Edwinpun followed his mother's wishes.

 "What time do you leave?"

"How about you pick me up at ten in the morning?"

"Alright, I'll come." replied Indi.

The next day, the,

Indi is getting ready to leave. After saying goodbye to her parents and grandmother, Indi left. His sisters are in school. But he had already told his sister that he would return to the city. The thing his sisters liked the most when Indi or Kak Maria came was that they got pocket money.

Half an hour drive, Indi reached in front of the Edwin alley. Indi was a bit hesitant, whether this alley was really the house of Edwin or not, because he had only been there once. Indi threw a look around until he was sure that it was Edwin's alley.

Indi sent a message to Edwin to tell Edwin that he had arrived. But ten minutes passed, Edwin had not yet read his message. "Maybe Edwin didn't hear the tone of my message" he thought. Not wanting to wait any longer, Indi then dialed Edwin's phone number and called him.

"Call...." Edwin.

"Edwin, I'm in front of your alley."

"Okay, wait a minute" he said.

Hearing that short conversation, Bu Rika knew, it must be Indi who came. Bu Rika sends Ricky to meet Indi in front of an alley and invites Indi to stop by her house. If Bu Rica asked Edwin it would be impossible to obey.

*Flashback

Two days ago.

Ms. Rika saw Edwin enter the house on foot.

"Where's your bike Win?" asked his mother who was sitting in the house to make a woven hat from a yarn ordered by craftsmen from the city.

"Mum's city."

"Who, who are you going home with?"

"Sama Indi." Legally. Then go into the room and put the items in the room table.

"Where is he now?" Bu Rika was wailing to look around maybe Indi entered later.

"Home home." Edwin casually answered his mother's question.

"Don't you tell him to stop by?"

"No ma'am, what's it doing?" said.

"Geez Edwin, I'd like to see him." Bu Rika looked very disappointed. Her daughter-in-law had just passed by and she had no time to look at the trunk of her nose.

"Why did you meet Indi?" Edwin sat in the chair next to his mother. Eat boiled bananas available at the table.

"Mom wants to meet the future daughter-in-law of mother."

Edwin.

"Prospective son-in-law? Who said that?"

"Says Ricky you guys are dating?"

Edwin grunts. While Ricky laughed gigglingly at their conversation. He felt he had succeeded in becoming a matchmaker. Edwin and Indi are close.

"Basic brat. So he was the culprit." said Edwin pretending to be angry.

"When are you going to introduce her to me?" Ms. Rika looked begging Edwin.

"Mom just wait. If the time is right, I'll ask her to come by." Edwin asked for his mother's permission.

*Flashback off.

Ricky gets an order from his mother to pick up his future sister-in-law in front of the gang. Indi and Ricky have never met before. But they already recognize each other's faces through social media.

"Sir Indi..." Ricky called.

"Ricky...." Indi was surprised why Ricky who came was not Edwin.

"Mother asked me to take my sister over. Come on brother."

"I? Drop by? Where's Edwin?" Indi was surprised. He was finally told to stop by. His feelings are happy to be mixed with anxiety.

"Sir Edwin is home. He's getting ready. Come on, brother, come with me." said Ricky.

Indi followed Ricky's steps with a slightly limp feeling. Again he was afraid that Arga would be home.

"Sheel.. Let's sit here." Bu Rika clings to Indi's hand and invites him to sit on the terrace. Indi looked timid. He stole a left right-hand-view in fear of Arga suddenly appearing.

Indi heard the conversation between Bu Rika and Ricky in front of him and from the conversation he understood that Arga was not at home. It made him calm.

Bu Rika invited Indi to chat while waiting for Edwin who was preparing. Several times Bu Rika praised the beauty of Indi. Only a small smile could she afford to let out when she heard the praise from the middle-aged woman who was likely to become her in-laws someday.

Edwin is ready. His feet stepped out of the living room. Hearing the sound of footsteps, Indi turned towards the source of the voice. Their gazes clashed. How shocked Edwin saw Indi was sitting in the chair in front of him.

"Sheel.. Why are you here?" tanyakanya. Edwin did not want to take Indi to his house because he was not ready. Edwin is not from the rich. Although he had already told Indi this before, he just felt unwell. Moreover, he has nothing to do with Indi.

While Indi seemed relaxed at Edwin's house. Edwin's house was very comfortable. Broad pages. Although the house is not too big, but the minimalist second floor design looks very neat in the eyes of Indi.

"Mom told him to come here." Bu Rica smiled as if he had just obtained a victory from Edwin.

"Let's go." Edwin pulled Indi's hand gently. They say goodbye to Bu Rika and Ricky then leave for the city with a bang again. Repeated their intimacy the other day.
