Peace with the past

Lea sat down uneasily as Devi knocked on the room door and opened it.

"Not going out yet?" devi asked while putting herself by Lea's side.

"So I slapped him" said Lea Lirih. She looked at her palm that had been used to slap her husband.

Guilt slipped into his heart, he didn't mean to be rude to Raymond. His hands did not stop shaking from earlier because of his guilt.

"She knows you're pregnant." Lea turned her body towards Devi. His eyes were radiating worry.

"She seemed happy, kind of surprised at first."

"But he seems to be referring." Lea's face returned grim.

"The woman you were referring to, his ex-wife?" Lea just nodded.

"If you just stay in this room, you won't know the real story. If he really wants to refer to his ex-wife, it is impossible to come all the way here nyariin you. She called you dear .... didn't she?" Devi nudged Lea's arm teasing her.

"Sit down!, I want to clean the wound." Lea pushed Raymond down onto the sofa.

Raymond was silent and complied, though in his heart he was a little surprised by his wife's very different treatment today.

"Auwww, slow down ... pain dear," said Raymond as Lea pressed the open wound slightly.

"Sister Erik, here I take medicine." The intonation of Lea's voice turned soft as she called out to Erik. Raymond's eyes widened as Lea took hold of her ex-husband's face.

Instead Raymond grew increasingly affectionate and afraid of hurting Lea, since he knew his wife was pregnant with her child.

Raymond looked annoyed at Erik who was smiling with a face looking up at Lea.

"That's enough, the wound ain't much of him either." Once again Lea glanced at Raymond cynically and continued to treat Erik.

"That's enough, I've got nothing." Erik mediated when he saw Raymond giving a warning look to him.

"Maaa .. I'm by ni?" (Ma, can I eat this?) Maura came to Lea with sausage in her hand.

"Boleeehhh, who'd you say thank you yet?"

"Well, "" (Father who loves) said Maura while pointing to Beni who was sitting on the dining table chair.

Lea was stunned to hear Father's call aimed at Beni, as her body trembled.

It was not that he did not want to admit that Maura was the biological child of the man, but suddenly the moment the shadow of the night flashed through his mind.

"Lea." Raymond clasped his shoulders from behind, restoring his consciousness that had flown far away to three years ago.

Leah looked at her husband for consideration.

"He has the right to ask, but you also have the right to refuse. I'm giving it back to you." Lea directed her gaze towards Erik who was still sitting on the sofa.

Erik just said quietly with a smile, "Whatever's best for you and Maura."

"Thank you to Dad." Lea's voice was stifled like it was suffocating, when she mentioned the word Father.

Maura nimbly ran towards Beni, hugged her, and kissed her cheek "Cure, Well."

"You two go straight back to town tonight?" devi asked Raymond and Erik, as they finished eating and were still sitting casually around the table.

"Tonight I'm the same Lea and Maura sleep in Erik's house, tomorrow we just come back." said Raymond quickly.

"I was here first, Brother and sister Erik who slept in the house there," said Lea without looking at her husband.

"Don't that dong darling, cook brother sleeps together Erik?"

"Sleep is separate, there are two rooms there" Lea said. Raymond just sighed tiredly.

Tonight Lea wants to give more time for the Beni family to gather with Maura, because it looks like they are still heavy if they have to separate tonight.

"All right, but come home tomorrow, baby?" whispered Raymond quietly. He was a little embarrassed in front of Erik and Beni because of Lea's strict attitude only if interacting with him.

"Let's see" said Lea briefly, then stood towards the kitchen.

"Patience, it's baby-congenital" Devi whispered as she looked at Raymond's tormented face.

In the morning Raymond's car was ready in front of Beni's house. He could not wait to bring his wife and daughter home.

"Rik, you sit in front. Let Maura be with Lea in the back" whispered Raymond half-begging.

"Why?, let me be with Maura in the back, Lea accompany you to sit in the front."

"Lea was fierce again, I was afraid" said Raymond sadly. Erik looked at the man beside him with a strange look, but finally without asking further he responded to his new 'friend' request.

"Lea come here often, bring Maura yes, we will miss." Devi hugged Lea tightly.

Since the beginning of knowing Devi has considered Lea like her sister, unfortunately all damaged by her husband's depraved deeds.

"Thank you for letting me be his dad." Beni kept on dipping and rubbing Maura's hair that was inside her sling.

"Pak Beni is his father, I can't avoid that. The blood relationship is thick, thank you also for acknowledging and loving him," said Lea sincerely.

Last night he could barely close his eyes, trying to overcome his fear and hatred when he heard the name of the father of Maura for Beni.
