Dilemmas

"Thank you, brother" replied Arum.

"Hmm," Husein simply cleared his throat in response to Arum's thanks and then sauntered away leaving Arum still silently in his place.

Seeing Husein's attitude that was much different than usual made Arum's heart throb, but Arum could do nothing but be silent and resigned, he said, everything that happened was a fate that he could never change.

With heavy steps Arum again walked to his room tidying up the clothes he brought from home and distributing the souvenirs he had bought.

"Bak Arum!" call one of the santri.

"Yes, what's wrong?" tanya Arum stopped her activities.

"You are called Mas Hasan" replied the santri.

"Mas Hasannya where is Ma'am?" Arum who did not understand had to meet Hasan everywhere again asked.

"Mbak Arum awaited in Mas Hasan's ndalem." Santri peegi passed away leaving Arum.

"Desy!" call Arum who saw that Desy had just entered the room.

"Loh Arum, are you back?" suhut Desy who was surprised to see Arum back this early, even though today the red date which means all activities in the pesantren in liburkan.

"Yes, I miss you so that's why you're behind it." The answer made Desy smile.

"You can make the most of the people of spiciness" said Desy.

"Hehehe, oh yes, I bought you and some other food. This is for you and the others!" Arum thrust one medium-sized plastic bag towards Desy.

"Well, what is this?" tanya Desy took over the plastic bag that had been thrust by Arum.

"That's a roast chicken" replied Arum.

"Burning the steaming pesantren?" asked Desy with sparkling eyes, because fried chicken near the pesantren is one of his favorite foods.

"Yes, eat there!" said Arum.

"Where are you going Arum?" desy asked who saw Arum about to leave the house.

"I'm going to Kak Hasan's ndalem first." Arum answered and then walked away from Desy.

Arum continued walking towards Hasan's house, since last night he had decided to open his heart and try to accept Hasan's presence in his life, and started everything from scratch.

"As~" Arum's greeting came to a halt when he saw the man he had most avoided sitting and chatting in the living room with Hasan.

"Honey, come on in!" hasan's decree that saw Arum just silently stared at the door.

Hearing Hasan calling out to Darling made the man who had turned his back to Arum's position now turn and see who was called dear by his cousin.

"A~ Arum" said Huda.

Yes, the man is Huda who yesterday just returned from Australia, he came to visit and told Hasan if he was a student who changed places to study at Hasan boarding school.

Hasan pesantren always hold exchange students from abroad to give opportunities to Santri or students and students who excel in pesantren.

"Huda," said Arum in a voice that only his ears could hear.

"Honey let's go in!" take Hasan.

Since last night's engagement, the two agreed to try to get to know each other, Arum has also promised that he will open his heart and start learning to love Hasan.

"Sir Huda knows this Arum my future wife," said Hasan introduced Arum who incidentally is his lover Huda.

"I am Arum" answered Arum, bowing his head.

What a feeling that really managed to disturb Arum's heart, somehow fate seems to make it cornered Arum has not been able to explain what happened but now they are actually found in circumstances that really make people misunderstand.

Now Arum looks like a girl who has no heart, engaged to cousin Huda who incidentally is his lover.

"Aren't you both in Australia, have you never met?" hasan asked for a topic of conversation because the two people in front of him were now both silent.

"No" answered Arum.

"Earlier," Huda answered almost simultaneously.

Indeed the two answers that made Hasan confused and suspicious at once, he frowned confusedly at Arum and Huda's different answers.

"What are your answers different?" hasan looked at the two in turn.

Arum who heard a different answer from Huda immediately glared in panic, but he immediately returned to neutralize and changed his expression to see Hasan who was now staring at him.

"I mean, like I've seen your future wife, but I don't know where I forgot," Huda told a lie.

Huda is forced to lie after hearing Arum's answer saying that if he had never met Huda before, hearing all Arum's words made Huda's heart so broken, the girl who had been so loved and she was proud of was now engaged to someone else, maybe her heart would not be as painful as it was today if she was engaged to someone else, but now Huda's heart is completely broken because the betrothed to him is Hasan's own cousin sister and worse yet Arum never gave any explanation to him.

What Huda feels today is different from what Arum feels, he feels in the middle of the intersection. How he behaves and what he will do Arum has absolutely no idea until he decides to lie for a while until he finds the right time to explain everything.

"Oh yeah, you come back here what's the matter?" asked Hasan who was uncomfortable with the silence that occurred, Hasan was quiet and cold but all of those traits suddenly disappeared when Arum was nearby.

"I got a task from the lecturer to exchange with one of the students in your boarding school" replied Huda.

"That means you want nyantri here?" asked Hasan who made Arum more excited.

"Yes, for the next six months I will be a student plus santri at your place," Huda again gave an answer that made Arum even more confused.

"Alhamdulillah Brother can stay here with me," Hasan asked.

"Sure," replied Huda with a sly smile that appeared on his lips along with a sharp glint aimed at Arum, although at a glance but Arum knew it.

"Darling, what are you doing?" Hasan now throws a question at Arum who is still faithfully bowing his head.

"Sir Hasan, I'm going to the toilet first what can I do?" Arum looks for a reason to breathe for a moment while thinking of a way so that he can leave behind the two men who made him a dilemma.
