Situation in the pesantren ....
Arum walked with his two friends to the cafeteria to ask for permission to cook together in the kitchen of the canteen.
In the pesantren is allowed to use the pesantren kitchen during school holidays for students who want to cook or heat the food sent by their parents.
"Assalamualaikum, Mbok," said Fifi who entered first into the kitchen cottage peek inside looking for Mbok Bat in charge in the canteen.
"Yes, Ma'am," said Mbok Bat who came out of the resting place, in the kitchen cafeteria there is one room where Mbok Bat rested, and there is a room where Mbok Bat rested, the room is equipped with a mattress and a small television that is usually used Mbok Bat while staying at the boarding school.
Mbok Bat is a pesantren, a widow with two children. His first son was working out of town and would come home once a week while his second son was also out of town but for college. So Mbok Bat will stay at the boarding school for a few days and will be home the day before his son comes home.
"We want to ride cooking instant noodles," said Desy.
"Waduh Mbak, sorry LPG is out waiting for the shipment. If you want to wait please!" answer Mbok Bat.
"When did his LPG come Mbok?" asked Arum who felt a little disappointed, because he was very curious about the taste of instant noodles he held. Given the struggle full of emotions that are in vain just for the sake of being able to buy instant noodles.
"Perhaps later ba'da dzuhur," replied Mbok Bat.
"Can we still cook later?" tanya Desy hesitated because the article ran out dzuhur was a special hour for Mbok Bat cooking preparation for lunch.
"It seems not Mbak, if the night might be able to," replied Mbok Bat.
Arum and his three friends stare at each other.
"If it's a malem I don't dare cook here." Whisper Desy.
"Sama" said Sinta.
"You think I'm brave?" chirp Fifi who made the other three friends turned to look at him questioningly.
"What are you brave for?" tanya Sinta is spontaneous.
"No," replied Fifi along with the headband.
Today is Friday where Mbok Bat will go home and the kitchen will be deserted without residents, the three friends of Arum who have been in the boarding school for a long time often hear horror stories about ghosts who like to be absent in the kitchen.
"Not to be Mbok, next time cook it." Said Desy who was nod by Sinta and Fifi. While Arum who never knew the cause of his three friends decided to cancel the intention of cooking today can only be silent sculpting without being able to comment.
"Why not be?" tanya Arum stopped the steps because the four of them were now walking towards the Dormitory.
"Arum, today is Friday which means Mbok Bat will go home, because tomorrow his son will go home." Obviously Desy.
"Well, if Mbok Bat came home why?" Arum asked again because he still did not understand the relationship between Mbok Bat's return and their cooking show.
"Arum Zeyenk, I'll tell you. In the kitchen, there are many supernatural residents who like to appear suddenly when the atmosphere is quiet. And if Mbok Bat comes home automatically the kitchen will be quiet, where we want to cook while accompanied by the supernatural occupants." Sinta explained in more detail.
"Emang if Mbok Bat no supernatural residents appear?" Arum is still not relieved by the explanation given by the two friends.
"Mbok Bat is the kitchen caretaker, so there will be no big one if Mbok Bat is there." Said Fifi.
"Ohh, that's it" said Arum as he shook his head to understand.
"Excuse me Ma'am," a santri came to the four girls standing in the middle of the street, Arum and his friends standing in the middle of the street talking about a cooking show that did not happen.
"Yes, what's wrong with you?" ask Sinta.
"Yes, why are you looking for me?" ask Arum.
"Mbak Arum called Mas Hasan in ndalem," said Sang Santri.
"What's going on with me?" asked Arum who was confused to hear if Hasan was calling him.
"Sorry Mommy, I don't know" replied Santri.
"All right, thank you, ma'am." Arum who heard the answer of the clueless santri finally chose to go to meet Hasan rather than continue to feel confused, he said, although actually he was still irritated and emotional because of the incident that made his emotions rise some time ago.
"I'll go first." Pamit Arum who was answered with a nod by his three friends.
Arum walked away from his three friends to Hasan's house.
"Assalamualaikum" said Arum standing at the door of Hasan's house.
"Waalaikum salam" said Hasan, walking closer to the door and opening it.
"What's wrong with Hasan looking for me?" ask Arum tho the point.
"Come in!" hasan replied, walking into the living room and sitting on the sofa.
Arum who saw Hasan sitting on the sofa finally could only follow his steps without being able to raise a protest.
"Sir Hasan what's calling me?" asked Arum to the point with a still irritated expression.
"Are you still angry?" instead of answering Hasan, he threw a question.
"Anged because of what?" Arum who really wanted to hear the confession of wrongdoing from Hasan deliberately did not answer instead asked back.
"Are you still angry about the incident at the cooperative?" ask Hasan who makes Arum do not understand because Hasan called the supermarket that was in seven Arum with the name of a cooperative.
"Cooperation? meaning?" ask Arum again.
"The person you visited was called Arum Cooperative" replied Hasan.
"Ohh," replied Arum indifferently.
"Are you still angry?" Hasan who felt that he still had not answered his question again asked the question.
"If Kak Hasan were in my position would Jak Hasan be angry?" ask Arum.
Hasan got the answer to a question that actually made it difficult for him to answer.
"Excuse me Mas Hasan, here's the drink." Hana who previously asked for help to make a drink and snack came with two glasses of warm tea and some fried tempe flour.
"Thank you Ma'am" replied Hasan, while Arum was still silent did not understand Hana's presence.
"Please drink and eat!" hana said as a sign that she will also leave the living room.
"Mbak Hana don't leave my house first, I don't want to be alone with a woman who is not legal so my muhrim. Fearing Slander Ma'am," said Hasan.
"Well Mas Hasan," Hana replied with a smile that rose on her cheek.
The instantaneous state became silent when Hana had left the two people who were having different feelings, and, Hasan with a million feelings in his heart was Arum with a sense of annoyance that still could not disappear perfectly.
