CHAPTER 21: ANRATEON CONFIDENCE

Anrateon hesitated for a while before becoming emphatic "While making a high-level bandit group with a month's time, I'm pretty sure I can do it as long as there are no distractions from the other group! The thing is, I'm not sure the other group will sit idly by watching my group continue to evolve against them. Therefore, a month might be less".

Myro was not at all angry at Anrateon's reply but instead he nodded "I see, you just do your best! As long as there's a problem and you need my help, tell me right away! I will send help without hesitation. After all making your group a part of the 4 high-level bandit groups was the most important part of my plan to defeat the other bandit groups".

"I will definitely not disappoint you and carry out the best possible task" said Anrateon determinedly, Myro has given a chance and great confidence to him so that he will not disappoint Myro.

"Lokof, how are you? I plan on rushing towards the End City, whereas in order to clear the entire bandits in Atrof Province, we will stop the plan first for now until the Anrateon group develops", myro said observing the slash wound on Lokof's body being bandaged "Are you capable of traveling far enough towards the Late City? If your wound is too heavy, you can rest here first and then rush to the End City after your entire wound has begun to heal".

Lokof stood up and said with a stern face "Don't worry master, let alone go through the journey, I can now still fight without any problems. But the thing is, I haven't been able to use my full strength due to the injuries I've received".

Myro hasn't given any answer to Lokof's confidence yet, however they had no doctors or healing sorcerers in their army so Myro doubted whether Lokof was really healthy enough or just being healthy.

It seemed that Charles understood what Myro was thinking so he said, "Prince, a soldier is not that weak, although they are heavily injured, they are still able to walk without problems or use horses. I also heard Lokof's body is stronger than the average person-No, the proof he managed to withstand the attack of a rank 7 warrior was the best fact that showed just how terrifying the strength of the body he had was. For that reason, I don't think there's any harm in letting Lokof come to the End City".

Myro felt what Charles said was right so he nodded "I understand, Lokof, you can come along. But remember, don't force yourself! As long as your injuries get worse, I'll definitely send you back, do you understand?".

"Thank you for your trust, sir!", said Lokof happily.

Myro said again "The matter here is over, we will be heading towards the Final City with the Knights. As for Antreon and his 400 men, you are here to build a fortress for me to defeat all the bandits. Anrateon, do you have the confidence to complete the task I gave you?".

Anrateon said loudly without a trace of hesitation "I will carry out the task you give me as best I can".

When all the problems were over, Myro let everyone rest. Even at night, he told them to make more food for the soldiers as a reward for their victory, Myro's idea was to get a happy shout from the soldiers.

They fought for a whole day, even though they were the elite Knights of the kingdom as well as 400 trained bandits under the training of Anrateon, they must have been tired from the big fight earlier so Myro let them rest today and left tomorrow.

Unwittingly by Myro and the others, some forces in the Atrof Province were worried about his arrival.

Currently in the residence of the Mayor of the City of Teranz which is one of the most prosperous cities in Atrof Province, there are 4 mayors and a border general who led 10,000 border troops gathered at the residence.

The mayor of the City of Teranz is Jirgnof, a retired military man who once gave the Golden Guardian Kingdom a major victory against the barbarians.

But in the middle of the war, he lost his left leg which became a fatal wound until he needed to retire from the military.

When Jirgnof thought his career in the royal military was over and planned to return to his native village as a farmer, a prince reached out to help him get the position where he is now Mayor of Teranz City.

Although he became Mayor there is also the reason for his services as a soldier in the past, but the support of the prince is the main reason that makes him managed to survive as mayor, as well, for this reason he became loyal to the prince who helped him.

Jirgnof gazed at the people gathered at his residence today, all of them political and military officials in Atrof Province loyal to the prince he was following as well.

"You all must understand the reason why I gathered you all here, the 17th prince has arrived in our territory! Even though our master has not given any order to clean it up because the 17th prince does not pose any threat to the throne, as a figure loyal to our master, surely we need to get rid of all our master's enemies without waiting for orders" Jirgnof explained.

The only general in the residence, Tarven, is a general from a certain noble family in the Golden Guardian Kingdom.

Unlike Jirgnof who managed to sit in the position of mayor due to his services in the past and the support of the war, Tarven became a general only because of the support of his family and the prince he followed. Even he became a general without ever going to war directly before, at most he only joined in making plans and hid behind his troops when all his troops were fighting using their lives.

Although there are many soldiers who are not happy with Tarven's attitude like a coward, they do not do any resistance because of his frightening background.

Tarven said with a joking smile "What's wrong? Is there a problem regarding the outcast prince? Don't tell me he's been killed by the bandits we sent? Don't worry, even if he is killed, the king will remain silent. However the king has so many princes, why should he care about the death of 1 prince is unclear? Even if the death of the 17th prince will be brought to justice, we must blame the bandits. Jirgnof shook his head "If the 17th prince is really killed, I will definitely not worry. The problem is that I got the news this morning, all our bandits were killed yesterday!".
