CHAPTER 17: FIRE

"We used another bandit group to fight against the bandit group that attacked us earlier?" said Charles a little confused as a result of Myro's words "Your plan is quite good, prince. But I need to make sure 1 thing, are the bandits who will cooperate with us trustworthy?".

Myro was not surprised at Charles who doubted his words, however the bandits were famous as traitors so many people doubted when working with them.

Staring at Charles who was wearing a helmet as well as light armor, Myro said confidently "They are different from the other bandits, at least I can guarantee they will help us without any treasonous plans".

At first Myro thought Charles did not believe it and tried to ask again, but Myro was wrong.

Charles nodded towards Myro's statement "I understand, if the prince trusts them to such an extent, I will choose to believe it as well!".

"Are you sure you believe me that easily?", asked Myro who was surprised by Charles' reply.

A gentle smile appeared on Charles "Prince's face, I had previously said that we are your knights, not kings or other nobles. As long as it is your decision, the duty of a knight is to carry it out as best as possible in order to succeed".

Myro sighed, he was determined to win so as not to disappoint Charles' confidence "Thank you, I make sure the bandits who helped us will definitely not disappoint".

Instead of remaining silent and burning to death in the headquarters, many bandits decided to flee.

Not only the bandits, even the bandit leader rushed to leave the headquarters while the other higher-ups fled in various directions.

The fleeing bandit leader murmured furiously "Who dares to burn down our headquarters? What is the Red Sword bandit group? I heard they plan to take control of the entire bandit in the forest".

After thinking of some possibilities, the bandit leader shook his head "It shouldn't be, the leader of the Red Sword bandits is not a fool. If it burns our headquarters in the middle of the forest, there is a possibility that the fire spreads to burn the entire forest which means their own headquarters will also burn. Myro was standing on a hill far enough along with 40 Knights and 400 bandit groups belonging to Anrateon, they were all observing the burning bandit headquarters under the hill, it was quite close to the hill where Myro was watching.
