Chimeras

Arthur stood behind Lavin and the other two warriors unnoticed, he realized the three warriors could not face the lion-like monster with the face of a goat and the tail of a snake that could breathe fire.

“How do we defeat that Chimera, my arrow cannot penetrate his skin.” Philip was unable to pull his bow and Wiliam was severely injured, with a Chimera scratch on his body.

“Only so much the ability of three shortlisted warriors.” Lavin, Philip and William looked at Arthur who was standing behind them.

“What do you mean?” Lavin, who pointed her spear at Arthur and the other two warriors, was silent, they had no strength to take up arms even though they were annoyed to hear Arthur's words.

“You better not turn your eyes away from the enemy.” Arthur reminded them, Chimera jumped towards Lavin.

Arthur resisted the leaping Chimera's attack and Lavin stepped back. This was the first time he felt powerless against his enemy, his arrogant and haughty attitude seemed to disappear.

“You want to die honorable here?” Arthur quipped after withstanding the Chimera's attack.

“Listen! I will hold this Chimera, you guys quickly go.” in front of Arthur already stood Chimera who was preparing to attack.

“Alright, we leave it to you, I'll ask for help.” After Lavin said, he and the other two warriors left Arthur.

After the three warriors left, Arthur pulled out his gun. Now Arthur holds a shadow sword and a gun in his hand

Arthur fights the Chimera, a shadowy sword attack and a shot from his gun unsuccessfully penetrated by the hard skin of the Chimera.

Arthur sighed, many corpses of troops were killed while fighting the Chimera. There was not even a body left in the burnt corpse.

“From where these creatures came from, who ordered them to attack.” Arthur looked at the Chimera who was running towards him.

“Will he let out another rain of fire?” The Chimera is gathering energy forming a fireball on the tail of the Chimera.

Arthur was shocked to stare at the village, and the Chimera was ready to spew out a fire attack. Arthur is aware of moving right near the tail of the Chimera that leads to the village.

The fireball attack that was ejected from the tail of the Chimera shot up into the sky and caused a huge explosion. Before the attack leading to the village is unleashed, Arthur kicks the Chimera's tail upwards to change the course of the attack.

“For a time I kicked that tail.” muttered Arthur jumped backwards avoiding the tail of the snake's head that opened its mouth wide trying to eat it.

Arthur poured his power in his sword, so that the shadow sword became stronger and sharper. Arthur shoots both Chimera's eyes and the shot hits both eyes, as the raging Chimera attacks in all directions without being able to see Arthur.

Arthur raises his sword up and then swings it at the Chimera after dodging several brutal attacks from the Chimera who can no longer see.

“I will end it, accept this!.” Chimera's head is cut off, the hard skin is broken through by Arthur's shadow sword that has been strengthened with his inner strength.

The Chimera finally falls after being attacked, Arthur manages to defeat the enemy boss who comes attacking the kingdom and a rain of arrows comes towards Arthur.

“Just put it this way.” The man in iron armour riding on a horse following his troops said arrogantly.

The man was the eastern general guarding the eastern border, he thought the rain of arrows his troops released killed the Chimera.

They all did not know what kind of danger had occurred. The ground where they stood was a pile of corpses of the slain troops.

“Oh yes, princess Nina where?” The eastern general looked around but did not find him.

Arthur left without answering the eastern general's question, Arthur stopped stepping in to hear a voice asking for help from within the black ground of the burning marks.

“Looks like he's here.” Arthur pointed down, knowing that voice was Nina's voice. The eastern general ordered his troops to inspect and find Nina's body.

Nina was injured after being hit by a hail of fire and before that she used the body of the troops that were with her to protect herself, the protective magic they formed was unable to protect from the Chimera fire rain attack and burned the troops protecting Nina.

Rias and the Berian commander and his army managed to finish off all the monsters in the village without remaining. They were all staring at the sky that was starting to change, “Master Arthur, you did it.” Rias stared at the dimensional circle starting to close and disappeared from the sky.

The sky is bright again, Arthur managed to save the kingdom from the attack of monsters from another world. Arthur looked around the village, he recalled the time when his city was destroyed like this and many of the residents were injured and even died.

“All the monsters that attacked the village have been defeated.” Rias walked over to Arthur.

Arthur just silently looked up at the sky, the residents approached him. “Master, thank you so much for protecting us. If there is no you, the entire population certainly does not survive.” The village chief lowered his head.

“I only help as I can, you should all rest.”

“Thanks to you we can survive.” One of the people rescued by Arthur.

“This debt will never be forgotten.” All the residents bow their heads. After thanking all the residents for leaving Arthur and Rias.

Rias has gone through quite a long fight and it was her first experience. “you have fought well.” Arthur approached and stroked Rias' head.

Rias cried hugging Arthur, she was very scared and tried her manahan until they managed to defeat all the monsters that attacked.

Commander Berian approached the crying Rias who scolded Arthur, telling him that the King invited all the meritorious people to the palace and brought Arthur back with him.
