Ep 43's. Darkness magic

Arthur came out of the house and sat in the chair on the porch, behind which stood Karina and Aron.

Dark Elves stared at Karina whom they had been looking for for 10 years, but she did not see Vanyar nearby.

" Well, I admit our introduction is a little less than pleasant, my name is Vander. I'm the leader of the Dark Elves."

Vander considered that Arthur who was sitting in a chair calmly had a high ability, if they wanted to conquer it then they would lose a lot of troops.

Ethan introduces himself before lowering his hammer, asking Vander to give him clarity on his purpose.

Arthur guessed they were a Dark Elf military group that should not be in this Kingdom, in other words they crossed the boundary of the territory.

Vander signs his team to search the forest in addition to the house in front of him before giving Ethan an explanation.

Only Vander and the two troops were now in front of the house while the others split up.

" As I explained earlier, we are really looking for someone. If you get in the way, then we will act with violence." Vander guessed what Ethan was thinking so he took out a picture and showed it to Ethan.

Ethan walks up to Arthur, who is sitting watching the situation, and Ethan whispers to Arthur.

" Sir, they're looking for the old man." Ethan tells the Dark Elves that they're after Vanyar.

" What do you really want from them ?." Arthur learns that they are looking for something from Vanyar and Karina. According to Arthur, it is impossible for the Dark Elves to come looking for them.

Arthur felt that every single one of these Dark Elves were on par with an A-class swordsman, Vander at least offsetting an A-grade expert swordsman. Ethan himself is able to finish them off if they have to deal with them all at once.

" I guess I'll have to explain the situation in order to make you understand more." Vander said he was looking for a Dark Elf, someone seen as a hero to the Dark Elves.

The person in question was an elder of the Dark Elves one of the strongest people dubbed the noiseless assassin. The title was obtained because this figure never failed in killing his opponent.

Ten years ago in a ritual, this figure actually challenged Dark Elves. Not only did he kill many Dark Elves, he took his granddaughter to the Asion Kingdom while carrying a precious magic book.

It took ten years before our scouts finally found this fugitive.

" Let's be long enough." Ethan laughed out of proportion to him who had been locked up for a long time in the labyrinth.

" Right, we're not sure if he's alive, but the clues we've gathered show he's hiding in this forest. We don't even know if he's alive, after seeing him it turns out he's alive." Vander looked at Karina who was standing next to Arthur.

The conversation between Ethan and Vander comes to a standstill when one of his soldiers reports that they have found nothing in the woods.

" I'm sorry Captain, there's nothing we found." The soldier whispered.

" Where did you hide that dark magic book ?." Vander's attention turned to Karina. The problem is that Karina might know where the magic book is.

Vander who was previously calm now changed after not finding what he was looking for, he pursued an answer from Karina. Arthur noticed them from a distance, he could see that they were in a hurry.

As Vander was still trying to find answers, an old man's voice rang out amidst the torrent of rain.

" Karina." cried Vanyar as he found the Dark Elves in front of his house.

" Old Vanyar." Vander is the first to react, surprising Arthur. He had never expected that the Dark Elf army was looking for was Vanyar.

Some of the soldiers started to move to bow Vanyar, when some people approached Vanyar, Ethan immediately raised his hammer.

Arthur held Karina back, still trying to get past Arthur to help his brother but Arthur kept him.

Arthur understands the situation, and he feels that the men have no intention of killing Vanyar, but of capturing him alive.

Vander walked up to Vanyar who had been held in motion by two soldiers, putting Vanyar on his knees.

" Older, do you still remember me ?." Vander greeted the position with Vanyar, his face looking sad. He could barely recognize Vander because his physical condition was so different from his memory.

" Vander's." Vanyar bowed his head, not long after the sight of the two met. There was guilt in Vander's eyes.

" Older, why did you betray the Dark Elves and leave us all behind ?."

" Vander, I understand your anger. You've become a man of valour and strength, I'm proud of you but please don't hurt my grandson, he's my only grandson after the Dark Elves made his sister a victim."

Vander's countenance changed, becoming full of anger while clenching his hands violently, then having his members capture Karina, he was sure that Karina made Elder Dark have this fate.

" Vander, Please! Just kill me but let go of my granddaughter!." Vanyar.

" Older!." Vander grew increasingly furious at the elder he had always been proud of and made as a role model behaving like this.

" His Majesty ordered to bring you back alive, regardless of your great mistake but Your Majesty did not then remove all your services in the past. As long as your grandson has to die, you can get all of yours back! Ten years with him isn't enough."

Arthur hears Vanyar's voice asking him for help. " Lord save us, I'm willing to be your faithful servant." Arthur who heard him smiled.

Arthur wouldn't have moved from his place, if Vanyar hadn't asked for his help.

Vanyar tried to wriggle but did not manage to escape. While Vander was still persuading him, a loud voice rang out from the direction where Arthur was sitting, followed by one of the Dark Elves soldiers being thrown in front of them.

" Perchance, order your troops to leave this place." Aron said out loud before moving towards Vander.

Not yet had Vander react seen Arthur standing in front of him while lifting one of the Vander soldiers who held Vanyar, then throw the soldier to hit the tree near them.
