Laura And Her New Status

Laura And Her New Status
Chapter 52 Laura and her New Status

Today is the funeral day of Mr Anthony Fernandez, Papa Laura. Since the funeral process lasted until it was finished with the tombstone already stuck on the loose land bearing the name of the late Papa, Laura never spoke even once.

Her tears no longer flowed from her beautiful eyes, likening them to tears that had dried up with a heart that was sick, broken, fragile, and incised such a deep wound. His heart ached so badly that destiny was scratched and as if torn apart by the cruelty of the world.

His world stopped for a moment, his happiness was gone for a moment. The promise he always made to the late Papa has not materialized. No one was able to heal her current grief that was so profound due to the loss of her beloved figure.

So it is with the mother. Her cheerful face turned into sadness. Since being together, he never saw the sadness that emanated in the look of the beautiful face of the woman who had given birth to him on this earth. Although often covered it, but Laura was able to read it and so sorry to see her mother is fragile and does not have the spirit of life left by her beloved figure.

Laura was only able to look at the tombstone bearing the name of the late Papa accompanied by the Mama who also looked fragile and even collapsed many times before the funeral procession took place.

Unceasingly the mourners gave their condolences for the death of a very influential person in this country. Until the mourners one by one left the burial place of Anthony's family accompanied by heavy rain falling on the place.

Laura and her mother did not budge in the place to let rain water wash over her body. The mother and child are only able to embrace and strengthen each other. The falling rain as a silent witness to his deep sadness was left behind by his loved ones.

From a distance Madam Tias and Wulan were only able to stand unmoved in place, while the rainwater had soaked their bodies. From earlier they stood staring at the funeral procession and did not dare to approach.

"Auntie, we should go home" persuaded Wulan with reddened eyes that were also shrouded in grief over the passing of Papa Laura. Wulan clasped her aunt's hand to ask her to leave the place

Without replying, Madam Tias reluctantly stepped out of the place. Guilt still enveloped them with heavy steps towards his car. Until their car drove away from the place.

While Laura did not budge in her place that was embracing her Mama. While his own eyes are still focused on staring at the grave of the Papa, the real form of the death of the Papa.

Ajis and Ijah, a married couple and a worker who worked for years at the Anthony family residence and was even considered a family, seemed to approach carrying two black umbrellas for the employer. They moved quickly to the master.

Laura decided to go home because she saw her mother's body shivering with cold. With a teetering step accompanied by Ijah, Laura swept her body towards a parked car not far from the cemetery.

Laura carefully put her mom in the car and sat her in the back seat and followed her. Ajis and Ijah already occupy the front seat. The car drove off to the residence of Anthony's family.

While elsewhere..

It looks like the five-star hotel building will be held a big party, a magnificent wedding. Many wreaths with congratulations to the soon-to-be married couple, Johan Pradipta William and Catherine Monroe.

Some invited guests began to arrive at the hotel ballroom where the event held a switch to pledge the sacred wedding.

Mr. William and Mr. Endro hosted the wedding of his children. The look on their faces seemed to be chatting together with their business partners. Because soon they will be family.

So is the case with other invited guests who are so happy to be present in the middle of the magnificent wedding party.

The two great businessmen were only able to send a bouquet of flowers as a token of condolence for the death of his business partner without wanting to come to attend the funeral process as a final rest for his business partner. One of them had once been his.

"I don't want the slightest mistake in my daughter's wedding" Mr Endro said, sounding threatening.

"Quiet, everything will go smoothly according to our plan. I've asked my men to pick up Johan who is undergoing treatment at the hospital. And soon they will come. Nothing can derail this wedding party" said Mr. William smiling cynically.

"Good, because it concerns the happiness of my daughter" asserted Mr. Endro not kidding.

At the hospital where Johan was treated. 5 Men dressed in black came down the hospital hallway to a special VVIP classroom treatment room for the best hospital owner.

They were surprised to find the room empty.

"Where did the young master go? quick search!" shouted one of those believed to be his bosses looking at the room was empty.

Instantly they ran around looking for the whereabouts of the person he was looking for and was his young master.

"Here, we are losing a young master" said the burly man with his long hair to his partner.

"Check this hospital cctv, I think the young master has not long left this hospital" said the man with his fierce face as he clenched his hands and was their boss.

The others moved back to the hospital cctv room. They cannot lose their young master.

While the person he was looking for seemed to come out of the hospital with a nurse's clothes and a mask that was used as a cover for his face shape complementing his disguise.

When he felt safe, he rushed into a black car parked in the hospital parking lot. The car drove at high speed leaving the hospital.

Johan took off irritatedly the mask and nurse clothes he wore replaced them with clothes that had been prepared by his secretary. The secretary was focused on driving his car.

"Where are we going, Mr. Johan?" ask Mike to open his voice.

"Go ahead, I'll tell you" Johan said as he buttoned his shirt.

Mike just glanced at him at a glance and then again increased his speed. While Johan propped up his chin looking straight ahead with his mind drifting everywhere. Throughout the journey there was no chatter between the boss and his subordinates.

"Take me to Papa Laura's final resting place" Johan said coldly as he exhaled violently.

"Okay sir" said Mike accompanied by a nod of the head.

Not long after, they arrived at a special burial place of Anthony's family in the suburbs. The cemetery was so quiet without any mourners or Laura's family. Johan circulated his gaze and only found the figure of an old man busy cleaning the cemetery area.

Johan let out a heavy sigh and stepped closer to the new grave with a tombstone bearing the name of the late Papa Laura, Anthony Fernandez.

Slowly Johan bowed his body saluting his arrival at the final resting place of his loved one.

Johan crouched down to touch the tombstone with a tight feeling in his chest. While Mike was only able to stand not far from him with a downcast look.

"I'm sorry, I disappointed you."

Johan tried to wipe away his tears that suddenly flowed just like that.

"Depend on me to take care of your daughter. I will make her happy with all my soul and body" Johan said sincerely. Then Johan forcibly opened the bandage wrapped around his wrist and pressed hard on the wound on his hand to bleed fresh.

The wound he got due to the late Papa Laura's hard kick that tore his wrist until blisters.

A drop of fresh blood on his wrist he dropped on the tombstone of the late Papa Laura's grave.

"I swear to look after and make your daughter happy. My blood bears the silent witness I swear to you."

The sincerity of Johan and his vows before the final resting of the late master Anthony Fernandez will begin his life.
