A house that is the largest and most magnificent in the Maya village, is the most luxurious and prominent among other houses. Gavin walked happily, for he came a second time to this place.
As opposed to a life in the past that lacked the affection of Dad, left behind his mother worked and only alone with the grandmother, now Gavin was flooded with affection from the Darmadji family.
Just entering the living room, Adi and Nyah welcomed the arrival of Gavin affectionately.
An immeasurable crisp and happy laugh, sounded melodious in the living room. It makes Sherly feel lonely in her room. The woman was reluctant to get out of the room, and preferred to lock herself up. Sorrowing could not be eased, so, Sherly seemed to look like an undead because she lowered the torment on herself.
Untreated remorse, Sherly is like a depressed woman who has lost her way. I don't know what the woman herself did in the room, but, hopefully, no more havoc will happen in her life.
"Gavin likes this?" nayah asked in the living room, as Gavin had just sat on Aditya's lap. The boy, not one bit away from the father.
A rare opportunity, of course Gavin used to get closer to Dad. The boy was also no longer irritable to talk, but, instead, more chatting with Sherla and Aditya.
"Like. But, if you usually cook it, not made a drink. That's a carrot, right?" gavin asked when he saw Nyah giving him a glass of carrot juice. Although he did not know the making, Gavin could guess from the aroma.
"Yes, that's smart. Then let this be for me. Gavin's having breakfast?" ask Nayah later.
"Today," answered Maya's son, smiling.
"What side dish did you eat?" this time it was Sherla who asked quickly. The girl seemed to forget, with the suffering of the older sister.
"Ataym fried and vegetable spinach clear sauce. It was loh, there were sliced corn," replied Gavin.
"good. Avoid spicy foods because your stomach is still too young. Grandpa's gonna make you kite if you want, and we're gonna take a vacation at the village square down the street, play together on the weekends. Don't forget to ask Mom for permission first," this time Adi Darmadji spoke.
Between Adi, Sherla and Nyah, they fight for a chance to talk to Gavin. Gavin is like a prince who is the wrestler of all women.
"Really, Cake? Gavin. But, can you come home next weekend?" tanya Gavin looked at Ditya.
"Dad will try. Hopefully there is no sudden job" replied Ditya.
The variety presented on the table, making Gavin's eyes feel pampered. There's chocolate, some candy, there's fresh fruits there.
"Dad, why did Mom and Dad fight? Instead of raising Gavin, you and I should have stayed together?" ask the ten-year-old.
Her tiny hand opened the plastic-clad candy. The child's heart felt a little relieved, when he asked about many things that he was unable to ask the mother.
"Sometimes, there are some adult problems, which children should not be aware of. Please understand. If Gavin grows up, Gavin will know for himself. The point is, the guilty father," answered Ditya without a second thought.
As a real man who has a dark story in the past, Ditya will not hesitate to admit that he is guilty. If Gavin grows up and judges himself, Ditya will not be angry. He knew he deserved it.
"Alright, alright. Don't talk about it first. Aunt Sherla has a gift for Gavin. This gift is special for Gavin, if Gavin can play here. Play here often if Gavin wants a gift from Aunt Sherla" Sherla said with a big smile. He didn't like to enjoy the mood this morning.
Sherla passed to her room. At first glance, he stared at Sherly's tightly shut room. I don't know what Sherly did in the room. What's clear is that Sherla understands is that it takes time for Sherly to recover her wounded heart.
The world sometimes strictly imposes punishment. You don't have to wait in hell to punish someone. Even when the world is still holding up beings, the universe is ready to judge.
Remembering how Sherly had once judged Maya, to be able to expel Maya at that time who was pregnant. Now, karma is attacking him so viciously. That's how nature's laws work. Nothing will escape the torment of sin.
"Bring this up, for school later. Don't forget, tell Mom, next weekend Grandpa invites you to play together" Sherla said, giving a paper bag containing a school bag, with a logo from a well-known brand.
"Well, this is an expensive bag. Thank you, Auntie," said Gavin happily.
"Oh yeah, baby, your dad bought you some clothes and a couple of pairs of shoes, good luck. Come here, Grandma wants to hug you," pinta Nyah quietly. The woman's tanga stretched out, hugging Gavin affectionately.
"Thank you, Grandma" said the boy happily.
"Oh yeah, what if I just go home? Surely I won't be able to go anywhere anymore" continued Gavin, making everyone silent.
Adi and Nyah look at each other, feeling that the boy's request is really able to make Maya can tie Ditya's neck.
"Mom doesn't want to marry Dad. If your mother wants to, I'll be willing to go home anywhere as long as I'm with you" Ditya replied.
Ditya's mind started to sneak. With intent, Gavin uses it to tie the Eye to marriage.
"alright. Gavin will talk to me slowly" Gavin replied later.
The laughter sounded so warm in the living room. Nyah who has begun to improve, is now also accompanied by the acceptance of the situation with a big heart. Could it be that if only, Nyah was selfish and wanted Gavin and Maya to go home?
In a smile, Nyah was thinking of a way to persuade Maya vigorously.
"Yes, Sherla, please call Sherly to the dinner table. She should not constantly trouble the housekeeper, to deliver food to her room. Say it now past breakfast time," commanded the gentle Nyah, to her youngest daughter.
"Alright, ma'am," Sherla replied without refuting at all. The woman quickly passed, leaving the living room with slow steps towards Sherly's room.
Dear thousand dear, the door did not open even though many times Sherla knocked on the door. Impatiently, Sherla immediately runs to Ditya, asking Ditya to break down Sherly's room door.
"Sherley .... " Shouted everyone, when found them, Sherly was lying on the floor, drenched in blood coming from his stomach.
Suicide by stabbing her own stomach, is Sherly's shortcut to disposing of the heartache.
