26. Hospital

Kirey was in the kitchen, Clara was giving him directions on how to cook vegetables using coconut milk, but her mind was not focused on hearing her brother-in-law's words.

It's been two days that Kirey keeps thinking about her papa, it's not like usual. Because kirey had been used to parting for a long time with papa ian even before he was married.

Her father is often rare at home, spending more time working outside for weeks so that kirey has gotten used to it without seeing his papa.

Kirey picked up her phone, then nodded in agreement when she had read a message from Leon telling her to go to the hospital accompanied by clara.

Kirey and Clara left in the car, Clara did not want to take the risk if using the motor, she did not want kirey will fall unconscious from the motorbike.

During the trip clara did not stop babbling, many things were talked about, making kirey's head feel increasingly dizzy.

"Don't you get pregnant?" ask clara

Finally they reached the hospital, clara who was still panicking ran out of the car in a hurry to call the health worker.

He immediately contacted Leon, clara did not want leon to blame him for kirey's condition later. But Leon never picked up his phone, finally he decided to just send a short message.

Leon who was at one of the cafes, he was meeting with friends of other investors.

"At last you came too" said Clara breathed a sigh of relief at the arrival of her sister, but she became panicked because apparently Leon came with her in-laws.

Clara shook her hands, then did not wait for long mama immediately entered the room, at her sight kirey lay weak with an infusion hose in her hand.

"What did the doctor say?" ask mama to clara.

"He was just exhausted from being too stressed and lacking fluids" Clara replied smoothly.

"How did he get stressed?" asked Mama again, she looked at leon annoyedly asking for answers. Leon just shook his head.

"Not that my mom told me to pay more attention to him!" exclaimed mama did not accept, in his eyes kirey sad.

"Don't blame my husband ma, it's because the last two days I've kept my mind going" said Kirey, who was apparently conscious.

"Where's papa?" kirey asked, looking in all directions looking for her papa.

"Em." mama muttered, she was seen looking the other way.

"Mama" call kirey, he looks at his mother suspiciously.

"Just rest, don't think too well papa is fine" said Mama look doubtful.

"Tell me the truth, you're not good at lying at all"

Not to answer but my mom asked. "Leon, can you help kirey walk?"

Leon nodded his head, assisted by clara they walked following the steps of mama ike to the room that leon had seen his old mama out of it.

As soon as he entered the room, Kirey cried to see his papa lying unconscious. Papa's face looks pale, his body looks a little thinner.

Leon helps Kirey walk up to papa ian, trying to calm his increasingly hysterical wife.

Leon reminded that kirey should not be too depressed because he was also sick.

Kirey looked at her mother for an explanation, and she explained that she had been in the hospital for two days.

Leon looked at his wife affectionately, then he sat down beside kirey, his head on the bed staring at kirey, before long he fell asleep.
