Chapters 11. Bickering

The next morning Leon awakens to find a kirey phone that keeps ringing.

Sean

That's the name of the guy who called, who's sean? ask Leon in your heart. But soon forgotten, once found his wife began to wake up because it seemed disturbed by the sound of a cellphone ringing.

Kirey opened his eyes, he took the phone and put it back, no more noise from the phone.

Leon had forgotten about the caller's name this morning, but the incident continued to repeat itself for three days in a row.

Until one night, he discovered that the one who often called Kirey was his ex-girlfriend. This really hurt Leon.

Although Kirey still pointed out a bad attitude at all times, but this time his wife was very outrageous.

"Who keeps calling" asked Leon to give himself up, he wanted to test his wife's honesty.

Kirey simply smiled wryly, without answering his question and choosing to rush out of the house probably towards the house of Nadira.

Because these days kirey like avoiding it, if leon is in the house then kirey will come out, and vice versa if leon out of the house, kirey will soon enter.

Though Leon has devised various plans so that kirey can open up a little of his heart, and it might just turn out for the better.

Until the peak on the fourth night after the wedding, the two of them finally got into a fight for the first time.

"From this second stop taking phone calls or calling the fucking guy, you understand?" snarled leon with hardened jaw.

"There's nothing to do with you" Kirey replied thoughtlessly with leon's words that he thought were absurd.

"Obviously my business, you are now my wife" Leon leaned over to the sitting kirey and grabbed both of kirey's shoulders firmly.

"I don't want to, after all we don't have any relationship" Kirey insisted.

"You said there's no connection? you forget, that man is the man of your past, the man you still love, the man you cried a few days ago."

"Then you say you don't have any relationship? don't joke around and make me laugh" leon jolted violently making kirey speechless.

"Remember not trying to reconnect with him without my knowledge."

"I'll keep watching you" said Leon as he stood leaving kirey, before his emotions grew.

Leon is unsure if he can hold back his emotions for longer, if he continues to argue with kirey.

"Don't interfere in my business, didn't you say you'd do anything for me?"

"Then let it go, maybe I'll change by myself."

Hearing the word, sean tried to sigh slowly to calm his almost detached emotions while thinking to keep going.

But instead of being silent, Kirey said "i still love her and you can't force me to change that"

Kirey was trying to justify his attitude, leon just silently stared at the spot and suddenly turned around.

One slap successfully landed on kirey's cheek, making him stagger back a step while staring at the man in front of him with eyes of disbelief.

"It's good now that you're showing your real face" Kirey said sarcastically as she held back her cheeks that were now hot.

It was nothing but Kirey had thought of living a fine married life when he saw the solemnity of Leon.

"Aren't you thinking how I feel" asked Leon at last.

"You've slapped me and you're still asking if I didn't think of you?" kirey's jaws with hardened jaws and sharp eyes.

"You made me behave violently, do you still think that what you did was right!" exclaim leon

"I thought of you so I said not to interfere" Kirey replied, trying to defend herself.

"I'm a stubborn girl. The more you reins, the more I fight, the more you shut up maybe I'll change my mind."

"It's true that I'm still exchanging messages with Sean, but I also know very well that we're not going to be together anymore."

"And it's true that I still love that man, and you know that too"

"Don't force me I'm also trying and trying to accept everything but slowly. Not that you agreed to change things slowly."

"You're wrong to have slapped me. Take this leon bagaskara, in my heart now there is only anger and dislike"

"Because that's all I can give you for your attitude." after saying a series of words endlessly, kirey chose to go inside her room.

Kirey didn't want to stay near Leon any longer which would only make him continue to put out harsh words.

While Leon could only silently stare at Kirey's departure regretting what he had done, he walked out of the house to calm his mind.

And without them both knowing, since then mama and papa saw the incident.

With tears and a face full of sadness mama went to her son, while papa ian was upset with kirey's attitude but could not bear to see her son tortured.

Papa Ian was already feeling suspicious like there was something his son was hiding, but he did not know that his daughter had another lover before her wedding.

And now find his daughter-in-law's anger. "Listen to what your husband says, stop connecting with people who are not clear" break up

Papa looked at kirey with a gaze that showed that his speech was absolute, and could not be challenged.

"Yes pa" replied kirey did not argue, because he did not want to argue with his father

Mama just keep quiet, mama ike knows exactly who is sean, because previously kirey had told me about sean.

Mama ike also knows if sean is the same person as his son's lover who had disappeared and made kirey agree to the matchmaking.

"You're guilty but Leon shouldn't be rude" mama ike muttered.

The clock shows at 15:20, after talking with his parents, Kirey decided to leave the house.

Along the way he kept cursing, while occasionally kicking the pebbles that passed by him ."I hate you, Leon, you little guy who doesn't know how to profit" Kirey's upset so angry.

He still could not accept if he was slapped by Leon, for him Leon had made a fatal mistake with the slap.

Though he wants everything to be okay, but the man just complicates the problem and makes kirey hate him even more.

Although it seems selfish because it is still related to sean, but Kirey feels entitled to be happy after everything he experienced.

He knew he was wrong, but he was trying slowly and he wanted no one to push him.

Kirey started to turn her steps towards the nadira house, as only her current friends could make her heart calm and ease her emotions a little.
