''Little Black, we will be found by the magical beasts here if it continues to use your soul to sense the surroundings?''

'' Don't worry, unless the magical beast has reached rank 5, it's impossible to pay attention to my soul senses.

Shun Long heaved a sigh of relief but he was still very careful as he slowly headed deeper. Magical beasts in the middle region were all ranked 3rd or even higher, and attracting their attention would be disastrous.

Beast roars could be heard everywhere around Shun Long as the central region became a constant field for magical beasts here. After all, this was the place with the purest qi in the entire Demon Mountain Region, so how could the battle here be avoided?

The bird has 4 icy blue wings wrapped around it, which is a stark contrast to its brown body and beak.

To pass through the forest, Shun Long had to go to the other side of the riverbank. If he really wanted to swim through the river, or oppose to the other side, he would definitely wake up the magical beast.

However, Shun Long simply smiled and thanked his star that the bird did so, as he clenched his right hand and punched the air under praise.

The moment his fist hit the air, a space tear big enough for someone who had formed the moment Shun Long entered it and instantly arrived at the other side of the riverbank.

Almost like sensing something, right after Shun Long entered space, the '4-winged ice bird' opened its eyes as it looked around the river.

Despite not finding anyone, the magical beast was now watching its surroundings vigilantly. As an intermediate rank 4 beast, the senses and intelligence of the '4 winged ice bird' were nothing to be booed.

Thankfully Shun Long immediately took refuge under the tree, before opening another space gap to escape deeper into the forest.

At the same time as Shun Long entered the second space tear, the '4-winged ice bird' suddenly directed his gaze to the tree where he had taken shelter earlier. After flapping its wings, the bird immediately arrived in front of the tree. Its four wings then lit up with a snow-white light as ice shards suddenly formed on it.

Flapping its wings once again, the '4-winged ice bird' sent a barrage of ice flying into the tree, filling it with countless holes.

Only after seeing that no one was there did the bird finally leave.

''Master, I can feel two presences within that mountain.'' Little Black said after he sent his soul to scan through it.

''Two?'' Shun Long asked confusedly. Could there be 2 magical beasts instead of 1 in the middle mountain?

Little Black nodded his head at Shun Long's question as he continued

'' Teacher, actually, I don't understand what's going on here. There seemed to be 2 presences but.only one of them seemed to be truly alive''

Even Little Black who had lived for so many years had never faced such a situation before.

Shun Long watched him for a while, before deciding to rest tonight and proceed towards the middle mountain tomorrow after his strength recovered, when a loud screech filled with hatred came from the middle mountain, which was the most powerful, it shook the entire central region.
